I ordered their two-egg sandwich with bacon and fruit, which allowed me to live my best life. It was delicious. Their bacon in particular was magical. The iced coffee black helped me wash it down. Price-wise, it was reasonable. I would need to come back for happy hour and discovered they have dinner as well -- originally thought it was only open through lunch hour. It comes off as much more upscale, especially once you enter the interior. I was impressed by Bruichladdich scotch selections on their liquor shelves, as well as their lovely Belgian beers in stock in the bottom-level fridge and on tap. I didn't taste much jalapeño nor cheddar on the first half of the bread and the sandwich was also pretty bland. I rarely tasted the ligonberry drizzle. It would definitely be better if the ligonberry was in the actual sandwich. Hubby let me try a bite of the turkey lurkey he order and oh my it was amazing. The house made sage mayo and provolone were delicious. The turkey on the other half of my sandwich had more flavor and I finally tasted the jalapeño and cheddar in the sourdough. I guess all the flavors finally marinated together after sitting for a day. It still lacked the ligonberry taste so I will order the turkey lurkey on my next visit.

I explained I wanted a coffee to go and found out what "kava" is. (Not just a play on a coffee name.) Kava is a type of tea, and after a few questions I settled on the $5 cherry flavored hot tea to-go. The nice gentleman paid for my drink since it was my first time coming in. That was really nice of him, and I enjoyed my tea! Upon further research I found out kava bars are popping up as alternative bars for people who don't drink. The Crostata di Nutella was a delicate and decadent tasty treat that spoke to me in a profound way while washing it down with my iced coffee. The interior is very modern and clean with light wood flourishes and a wall unit where they offer a few take home items like olives and peppers.
