Growing up I loved hot pockets & that's exactly what the filling of the meatball parm taste like. The buffalo chicken was good too very flavorful. I do wish the crust was more crispy & less doughy. Also, I had a question about one of the empanadas & the person at the counter shrugged his shoulder & had no clue. Overall, the empanadas were good I'd go back for the meatball parm. Happy to try Ana's newest location along Rt #1 in West Palm Beach . Coffees & breakfasts too. Lots of free parking in front & friendly helpful employees inside. We buy the packages of the empanadas to freeze. Individually we microwave the empanadas when wanted. They are quick easy fresh and really delicious. There's enough of a variety that we never get bored. Today we picked up three different kinds of vegetarian empanadas for a friend that's having a rough time. If you're in a hurry, there is almost no wait because they are continually restocking a heated showcase. Crust is just right and my vegan veggie empanadas were very tasty. There are some tables for eating in but it is more of a takeout place. read more

I remember being excited when I read about this restaurant opening! A year later and an unplanned visit, I finally had an opportunity to try it. I purchased a couple of empanadas to go after shopping at the neighboring boutique Lola Chiq. The young man who assisted me was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable regarding the empanadas. I purchased two to go: a chicken curry and bbq brisket. He offered me sauces and ai asked his thoughts on pairing. He recommended the chimichurri with the brisket and the hot sauce for the chicken curry empanada. Neither combination nor empanada disappointed. My original plan was to enjoy these for dinner that evening but I ended up meeting a friend. I enjoyed one the following night and the other this evening. I reheated the empanada in the air fryer and it tasted fresh. Both had a generous amount of filling. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of brisket. Stopped by here to pick up some Empanadas after shopping next door. I was told this was their second location their main campus is in Delray where the owner hand makes all these empanadas in her large kitchen. They have tons of options: I took some frozen ones homes and reheated at home and they were so good! I bought the Philly cheese (100% recommend), Cuban (60% recommend) these were a little dry I wish I would have dipped in mustard, bbq (100%), and the desert empanadas. This place has some seriously delicious empanadas! They have standard flavors and also rotate seasonal ones; there are just so many to choose from! We've tried their chicken, beef, chipotle chicken, buffalo chicken and beef with rice. They were all so good! There's not a lot of seating inside the restaurant so we took these to go, but you can definitely sit inside and enjoy your food in a clean and crisp atmosphere. I went for lunch and tried their chicken and beef empanadas. I grabbed one at random and couldn't figure out which one it was. It was kind of bland tasting (both the filling and the crust), so I couldn't figure out what the hype was about. That one turned out to be the chicken. The beef empanada was a little spicy and the taste was more enjoyable. I think they were around $5-$6 each, which is a little high for my modest budget, especially since they are not huge. We stopped in on a windy day, flummoxed that you have to back into oncoming busy traffic on Dixie. The side streets are pretty, Albemarle ends in a fountain. We picked up some to go empanadas thinking we'd enjoy the ambiance indoors, but were slightly disappointed by the carryout setting. It's wonderful that Ana's offers a surprising new empanada every week from Ana's repertoire. i still haven't eaten today's haul yet to check on the quality thereof. I was however pleased with the cleanliness of the bathroom and how its design interacted with the rest of the place. I ate two vegan empanadas: one spinach, and one mixed vegetables. They tasted good though not quite as crispy as I'd have liked. But I guess that's what you get when you make the dish yourself in the microwave. Very good sushi rice with cilantro merits an extra star. We didn't know about the extra parking behind the restaurant, though I guess we had all the indications it was there. read more

Stopped in at Ana's Killer Empanadas to pick up a take out lunch. Their new WPB location is on the East side of Dixie in a strip mall with some parking. There are a few tables in the restaurant so you can eat there or take out as I did. They had a case in the front with take and bake empanadas in packs of three that you can take to bake at home. I opted to get the fresh ones since I wanted to try three different flavors. I was the only customer there but the service was a bit slow because the manager was training the person behind the counter on how to double check the to go order she had just put together that was sitting on the counter waiting to be picked up instead of allowing her to fill my simple order that she had already rung up and that I was waiting for. The senior employee/manager did not acknowledge my presence and he spoke to the cashier in a condescending way seemingly not recognizing he interrupted her talking to me about my order. The cashier was cheerful and quite competent. She double checked my order and put my empanadas in order in the sustainable cardboard (not styrofoam) to go container and wrote on the cover so I would know which flavor was which. The empanadas were five star and more than made up for the bad feeling and delay caused by the senior staff. The pastry was flaky and light. In response to you accusing me of lying and making "borderline slanderous" comments AND saying that you accurately depict what you sell vs what you advertise; the first picture is what what I received when I ordered the Philly cheesesteak empanada and the second picture is what you advertise on your website. Can you explain why they look nothing alike? Your picture on the website shows thin slices of beef mixed with cheese that filled up the entire empanada and I got thick grey beef squares that filled up less than half of the empanada. Shame on you for calling me a liar and suggesting that I am slandering your business when the proof is right here. Those two pictures look NOTHING alike. Furthermore, in response to me "misrepresenting" your foods. The third picture I've uploaded from your website actually shows shredded chicken not ground chicken like you said you do it in house in your response to my last post. Your pictures and descriptions do not accurately represent what you serve your customers. I will reiterate that the chicken and beef empanadas had the consistency of dry taco meat. The dough was hard and dry , I tried the beef and Somosa, neither one had any flavor. The chimichurri is a joke it's just vegetable oil with parsley. 4th time having Ana's since they've opened! All of the different empanadas my husband and I tried were A+ and the chimichurri and hot sauce can be awesome add ons to the right empanada. My favorite is the curry coconut chicken. Also all of the sides are solid. I was pretty amazed at how fresh the cole slaw was and how hot the food was when I ordered it for delivery.
