I was meeting my GF for brunch and was very happy to see the variety of gluten-free options that were available on their menu. It was pretty busy when we got there but it didn't take us too long to order. She ordered the Chicken Harvest Bowl and I got the Rio Bowl which were both reasonably priced. It took about 15-20 minutes for our food to arrive and it came out looking absolutely amazing. The first thing we noticed was how plentiful our bowls were. The Rio bowl was packed with tons of fresh ingredients and I really enjoyed the taste of the dressing. My friend really liked her bowl and said the food was very flavorful. As we were leaving one of the employee's was kind enough to take our photos which was greatly appreciated. We were searching for a dinner location to have a light meal. My suggested Aubergine Kitchen. The restaurant itself is appealing. It has an upscale courtyard vibe. Lighting is not harsh and offers plenty of seating options, both indoor and outdoor. It is counter service, but the food is brought to your table. The menu is varied. They offer bowls, sandwiches, smoothies, baked goods and specialty drinks. I had the Mango Salmon bowl and my wife had the Tri Tip salad. Both were generous portions. Flavors were great and ingredients were fresh tasting. The salmon was a bit over cooked for my liking, making dry. The Tri Tip was very good. It was cooked medium well and it was well seasoned. It is a bit pricey, but as mentioned before portions are generous. A good meal nonetheless and a good overall dining experience. We will be going back. read more

Even though the chicken was a little dry and the rice could have been better, the overall flavor was so good that I'd absolutely order it again. The cheesy bread was another highlight it was light, airy, cheesy, and so good. I also really liked the kids' meal. It's very customizable, which is nice because it's not just the typical basic kids' menu. It makes it easy to choose something your child will actually enjoy. There are just a couple of things that kept this from being a 5-star experience. The ordering process could be improved. You order at the counter, but there weren't any paper menus to look at while waiting in line only a menu board overhead with small print or a QR code to scan. If you don't see well or just need a minute to browse the menu, it can be a little frustrating. They were also out of both the salmon and the chicken bites when I ordered, which was disappointing. I do wish the kale portion had been a little bigger, but it wasn't a deal breaker at all and I still enjoyed the bowl a lot. Everything tasted fresh and clean, and you can tell they care about ingredient quality. I really liked the niceshake, though I did notice a slight alcohol note from the vanilla extract that was pronounced to me. Just a personal taste thing and it didn't take away from the experience. What really stood out was the service. The staff were very helpful and happy to explain everything, which made ordering easy. I also assumed this was a place where you bus your own table, but they kindly told me to leave my things and that they would take care of it, which felt really thoughtful and welcoming. I have tried many of their menu items but am particularly fond of the Chicken Harvest Bowl, the Vitality Bowl, the Mango Goat Cheese Salad, but wait...there's more! If you've never tried one of their smoothies, it's a must! I most love the Dragon Mango Crème and Whey to Paradise. Aubergine definitely fulfills the adage, "you get what you pay for". This is a seasonal item. Unfortunately it was a bit too thick for me. Cannot even slurp it with the straw. I had to go home and use a spoon. This is pretty good...very filling. I ordered the Peanut Tofu Bowl which was labeled with a "V". I had to ask if the "V" indicated vegetarian or vegan because nowhere on the menu did it indicated a meaning. The menu also has "DF" and "GF" labeled items. It's great that there are options but you need to have a label meaning somewhere on the menu so customers understand what the label means. Many restaurants have labeled an item with a "V" for vegetarian or "VG" for vegan or vice versa. However, they also have an indication on the bottom or top of the menu explaining what the labels mean. Furthermore, the staff needs to be trained as well. On July 26, 2025, I received a cheesebread roll made with dairy cheese on top of my bowl. What if I had a severe dairy allergy? Why would you put this on a vegan meal? I asked the staff what it was, as it was not on the bowl's description, and they casually stated it was a parmesan roll made with real cheese. When I asked why it was put there for a vegan dish, they stated they put it with every dish and I had to speak with the manager regarding why this is an issue. Not only that, but when they had to remake my food, the almond rice wasn't available, so I had to have turmeric rice instead. My husband's food had already arrived so out of courtesy, he waited for mine to come and his got cold. That being said, the meal was fine. It was lukewarm - literally. The hummus was ok. Overall, I had a pretty bad experience, as I also felt like the manager didn't comprehend the severity of the situation. You just don't put something non-vegan on a vegan-labeled dish. Why is no one checking? The kitchen staff placed it and the server didn't notice, likely because they don't understand the labels and their meaning, also likely because there aren't any clear definitions on the menu. Unless I receive some type of response from upper management reassuring me that this incident will be reviewed with staff, I won't be returning or recommending to any of my vegan friends. My non-vegan husband didn't care for his food that much either, especially after what I had to endure - not worth it. read more

I ordered the mushroom avocado toast with arugula on organic multi-seed sourdough, goat cheese, micro greens and pesto. I also ordered the almond berry toast on multi-seed sourdough, almond butter, chia seeds, cinnamon, strawberry, coconut chips and house made granola. They also offer a number of açaí bowl combinations. I chose the "Nice acai cup." It was refreshing, light and tasted amazing. The food was flavorful visually appealing and delicious. Large portions of fresh ingredients combined together made for a very enjoyable meal. However, I did find the mushroom avocado toast a bit overly salted, which, did impact its overall flavor. The restaurant's layout and design works well as does the decor offerings guests an upscale yet relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly, very helpful and personable. This was my first time there. It is a very nicely decorated bright and airy room that reminds me of LA. The entire room is done up in white and light woods. The service was great except for the gf Banana bread they forgot to pack in my Togo order. I was really upset because being gluten allergic this was going to be a treat for me. The baked chicken bites were not bad but the great cashew cilantro jalepeno sauce made it for me. The cheese bread was really good. I really wanted to love Aubergine Kitchen but sadly it was one of the worst food experiences for me and my sister. I came to Aubergine Kitchen to treat my sister to lunch in July and it did not go as planned. Unfortunately after my sister ate her chicken harvest bowl she ended up with food poisoning 3 hours later. I asked her if she was sure it was what she ate there and she said she, because the tomatoes in her harvest bowl were slimy. She said she did push some of the tomatoes to the side, but I guess that was not enough to prevent the food poisoning. I on the other hand did not get food poisoning because I ordered something different. I ordered the hummus and veggie plate which was disappointing because it didn't qualify as a side, but was more like a garnish. And this garnish was $8. Overall, this experience left me totally unimpressed and with a huge doubt because of the food poisoning. The fact that the kitchen staff did not check if any of their produce was slimy, makes me think they are not taking the proper precautions to prevent food poisoning. And this is a big fat F for me. And enough for me to never come back because nobody wants to pay money to get sick. At this moment, I do not recommend Aubergine Kitchen but if you decide to give it a try, I would make sure that your food looks and tastes fresh the way it's supposed to. read more

You'll see bottled and canned drinks: Pellegrino, kombucha, water, and a display case of their sweet treats such as brownies, cake slices, energy balls, banana bread, muffins, and cookies. You can get bowls, plates, wraps, melts, and salads. For drinks, they have coffee, tea (hot or cold), smoothies, nice cream, and açaí bowls. You can get breakfast items from 7:30am-11am on weekdays, and up to 12pm on Saturdays. Wild Salmon Plate: Choice of base (almond-wild rice, quinoa, turmeric rice, cauliflower rice), wild salmon, roasted broccoli, sweet potatoes, house salad. I chose cauliflower rice. The salmon is about 3oz. The salad has almonds, pine nuts, pomegranate, Persian cucumbers, radish, field greens, arugula, feta cheese, and a vinaigrette. Eat them while they're still hot. 4/5 From their drink dispensers, they have chamomile mint tea, hibiscus raspberry tea, pineapple ginger juice, strawberry lemonade, and cucumber mint lemonade. I tried and liked the strawberry lemonade, and the chamomile mint tea; the hibiscus raspberry tea didn't have much flavor. Service was pretty good. The food came out in less than 10 minutes after ordering. I like their business principles in terms of providing nutritious and delicious food. When we walked in it wasn't too busy, but the employee at the counter seemed frazzled with another order and was tending to that with a boss and didn't really greet us which is fine; they are busy. The menu is up on big tv screens displayed and the interior here is very beautiful. They have indoor and patio seating which is nice. When my friend and I were ordering since I have gluten allergies but saw they had the cheese bread I wanted to try it, but was told it was not gluten free even though it says that next to the photo... so I opted for a immune boost smoothie and the salmon dish It took about 15 min for the food to come out but the quality I expected I didn't mind. The smoothies were good but the immune boost was extremely sweet it was hard for me to finish, however the consistency was perfect smoothie consistency. My friend really enjoyed her blue wave smoothie and it was very aesthetically pleasing. However the salmon dish I ordered (which was 20) was the driest salmon I've ever had and seemed over cooked. It was hard for me to finish it. I will say the portion is a good size and I enjoyed the veggies and quinoa as well as the sweet potato. Overall, it's a cute aesthetically pleasing establishment but I wouldn't spend as much as I did on the food if I were to come again I would just get a drink instead. read more

Wow! This place is so fresh and amazing. The food is perfect! And I don't say that lightly. I got the coconut curry bowl and the flavor was amazing and not overpowered with spice or nasty oils flavors. The best part after eating here... I do not feel bloated or fatigued. I felt light and ready for my afternoon. The matcha latte was delicious and it comes unsweetened so you can choose if you want to add sweetener or not. The inside of the restaurant is simple clean decor so you're not getting overwhelmed. I would definitely come here again. It's casual but also classy! A fun place for family dinner!! read more

The food was pretty good but nothing to brag about. The service is the reason for my lower rating. For a place that prides themselves on healthy food, gluten free options, seed oil free, ect. I thought they would be more accommodating to food allergies. But the lady taking my order simply replied with "i don't know" and proceeded to tell me my total when I asked if what I wanted to order contained my food allergy. She seemed absolutely clueless and flustered when I politely asked if she could double check with the kitchen before I paid for something I didn't know if I was able to eat. I was given no confirmation that what I ordered was safe for me to eat. I didn't want to be annoying so I just ordered a salad to be safe and did not ask again. The pricing is decent for a healthier place and there are a million options to order so plenty of choices (a little overwhelming)! But there is definitely something for everyone. My family and I came here on a Monday afternoon and it was busy! We were able to snag a table after we ordered. We ordered Mediterranean Bowl, hot Steak melt, the blue wave, and peanut butter bomb. Everything was delicious! Unfortunately the staff forgot to make our peanut butter bomb smoothie so we had to go back to the front and ask for it. My Mediterranean bowl was very fresh and the sauce made it taste even better! I was supposed to have the falafel and add chicken, but I don't think the staff heard me and subbed it for chicken. My husband for the hot steak melt. That was delicious too. The steak was very tender and the melt itself was very flavorful! The blue wave was amazing! It is on the pricier side, but honestly I would pay $13 for it again. It was yummy and I didn't feel guilty drinking it! The peanut butter bomb was good too. My husband enjoyed it.
