Today I visited the Lemon Tree Cafe it was delicious I had the lobster roll AND THE salmon poke yes don't judge I was quite hungry. Both plates were very satisfying the salmon poke was sooooo good, light refreshing and filling! I do recommend this place and give it 5 stars! After weeks of wanting to try the french toast with warm berry compote and burrata we finally went to Lemon Tree Cafe today. While the cafe is beautiful and food delicious, I was a little taken aback by the customer service. For breakfast we ordered an ABC omelette, side of bacon, and the french toast with berry compote and burrata. Initially what was brought to our table was french fries, a side of bacon, and an ABC omelet. When I asked the cashier if I was going to be receiving my french toast, the runner looked at my ticket and said oh, french fries were rung in. The cashier that took our order verified that I in fact ordered a french toast. I guess somehow she accidentally rang in french fries While the runner and the cashier immediately said it would fire my french toast, I was taken aback that the runner then came to my table and asked me to pay the difference between the cost of the french fries and the french toast when I never ordered the french fries to begin with. I'll be honest I thought for some reason the french fries came with the omelet as a side. At no time did they apologize for the mistake. By the time I got my french toast, my guest was done with their meal. Now I will say, the french toast was excellent but needs a tad bit more burrata. I understand that mistakes happen, but customer service goes a long way. Accidentally ringing in the wrong thing and then making the customer pay the difference, having worked at restaurants before, there's a different way that could have been handled. I think going forward a good practice would be to have the cashier repeat back to the customer what they ordered so that this doesn't happen again. Will this stop me from visiting here again, no, but I do think there needs to be a brush up on customer service. read more

I've been here acouple of times since I live nearby. For a coffee spot the actual drinks are not the best quality. The drinks could be stronger and the flavorings are very subtle. I tried the Nima (dirty chai) and thought it could've used an extra shot. The turmeric drink + a shot had an odd taste and I feel like the drink didn't combine very well. I also got the Carmel macchiato, which was the one I actually enjoyed. I got all of them iced which maybe next time the hot option is the better choice. They have a wide selection of pastries, cookies, crepes, and food to go along with your drink. This coffee shop is connected to a market. Service is pretty friendly here, but if there's a line ,drinks could come out slow since there's only one person normally ringing up and making the drinks. read more

3.5 stars Super cute cafe/market. Food not so much. I ordered the quiche Lorraine ($14). It's made of eggs, bacon, gruyere, chives, cream and comes with a side salad. I order quiches when I'm indecisive because they're usually pretty foolproof, however, my quiche Lorraine tasted so dry. Coulda used a little more cream maybe. The salad could also use a little dressing. My friend ordered the Lemon Tree Avocado Toast ($14) with over easy eggs ($2). Multigrain bread slices come topped with red pepper spread, avocado, and basil. The multigrain bread really threw me off because it made the toast look very un-special, though it was giving healthy. I stopped by this new café & market for a quick coffee break, and while the space itself is absolutely lovely--very chic, aesthetic, and inviting--the coffee experience was a bit disappointing. The prices seemed reasonable, but the quantity definitely didn't match up. I ordered a cappuccino to go, and the staff didn't ask whether I wanted a regular or large, so I'm guessing there wasn't an option. When I opened the cup to add sugar, it had the right amount of froth, but the first sip told me everything--just not great. Within 4-5 sips the entire cup was gone, and I was still half-asleep! Honestly, I make better coffee at home. For a place that looks this nice, I expected more from the drink. That said, the café is beautiful, and I haven't explored the market yet. Not bad on the food but don't come to work remotely. no signal in here so not my favorite. The WiFi was slow and so was the service but they were nice during interactions. I was looking forward to sitting there and consuming more but my calls kept dropping and I left as quick as I came. It's very nice inside, it matches the rest of the building. Plenty of options in the market but the prices are similar to Whole Foods . There is a water station in the lobby and ample seating. They have some nice happy hour deals to come back to. Have to say I was very upset they do not have cinnamon rolls every day. It does not stay that on the menu. And it is also not specific on which days they'll have them. Came here for lunch with coworkers. Classic Grilled cheese and cup of tomato soup. Nice and cheese and the soup nice and creamy. Great for dipping the grilled cheese in. Margherita pizza. (It was so much fun getting sick later that day -sarcasm). The manager refunded me for my drink and the staff member remade my coffee, black this time. I was very disappointed to witness a manager raising their voice at employees. It felt highly unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch, especially seeing how embarrassed the staff appeared. This kind of behavior does not reflect the standard or environment a lifestyle cafe should represent. This is how you treat your employees??? It's disgusting! and i'm a regular costumer here. It can be pretty dim throughout the day as it has a West facing window but the white walls help out a lot. The service is pretty chill as it is mainly the cafe section that would get the busiest. If you need help in the market area, you may need to find someone to call someone to help you out in that area. The market has variety of quality ingredients so this would definitely be a good stop if you happen to need something that you can't really find in regular grocery stores. Visited a few times and it is honestly one of my favorite spots! I come here to study and I have ordered a different things each time but they are all equally as filling and delicious! For a cafe and market, this establishment has one of the most inclusive menus! They even have Gluten Free pastries! It is pretty big so there is always somewhere to sit no matter what size the party is and they serve alcoholic beverages! Ok... So not going to knock them for being a bit pricy but...the eggs scramble with cheese well...not up to what I believe could be outstanding. Ok when I get fried egg especially over easy I expect the egg to be hot and pop that beautiful golden yolk...ok on a scramble I love my eggs to be on soft with milk added. My eggs had some browning which made them dry. I would have told them but the lady infront was new and the picture it looked like I wanted them. The cheese probably would have been better with a saltier cheese my opinion. Ok the rest of the food was awesome Yes some missing items on the menu. Sausage and lemon curd for crêpe But overall still nice very clean and very friendly service. The star of meal was cafe latte The cheeseburger looks good on menu I might come back for that. The market is great! There is enough available in this market that it could get me by without going to another market for quite a while. Excellent excellent selection! The café, which we tried today, not so much. We ordered the beet salad and opted for the lemon dressing and goat cheese on the side. It could've used quite a few more beets in that it is called a beet salad, and it was drowning in dressing , but certainly tasty! We both opted for the BLT, which was kind of dry and needed more of the condiment that it comes with. Some kind of a flavored mayo. Neither of us finished our BLT and we were still hungry so we moved onto a chicken Panini, which was kind of just flavorless altogether. By the time we were done, this was a $70 lunch for two people. Almost $50 if we just stuck with the initial salad and two sandwiches in the first place. Otherwise, cute little café that was conveniently located by our fitness experience of the day. The 4 stars is more for the market side than it is the café. I don't think we will be going back to the café, but definitely the market for sure. read more

I drank my mocha so fast because it was so delicious- I almost went back up for a second lol - I opted not to since I didn't want to be overly wired the rest of the day :) (maybe next time I will hehe) Note: Their Avocado Toast consists of avocado slices (that can be easily spread with a butter knife).
