I don't understand the craze. I've given this place numerous chances to make healthy and delicious food, but somehow just the healthy part (allegedly) is coming out. Now, I know people keep telling me, "But you've got to try my special order with x, y, and a!" I've done that. The problem is each component from the protein to the sauces, are incredibly bland. Not to mention the rice was crunchy this last visit. While I'll admit they can cook meat well, and I love the options, we have got to infuse more flavor, friends. And for the price? We can certainly afford more than salt, pepper, and garlic powder (I would hope). So, I think Utah is a little crazy. Unfortunately, Aubergine is one of the few chains that sells healthy fast-casual food (Cubby's is another story lol). No Salad 'n' Go, Cava, Flower Child, Original Chop Shop, etc. Nothing. I guess people have just decided this is the best it's gonna get and have accepted their fate of bland culinary arts. I, for one, will not be condemned though. In the meantime, if you get a chance to try one of the aforementioned joints, please do. You'll do your taste buds a favor. read more

Well Aubergine blows it again. I got there 11 minutes before lunch is served. I wanted to order a build your own bowl. There's nothing on the breakfast menu I can have. I could see that the majority of the lunch food was already set out. Instead of being accommodating and saying well we might not have an item or two, the chick just flat out refused to help me because it's a "lunch item" They have such a monopoly on this type of cuisine but it's honestly becoming not worth coming. The customer service is almost always horrible and the serving sizes are getting smaller as the prices go up. Plus the food has become more and more inconsistent, never know what it's going to taste like. I've owned restaurants and worked in restaurants my whole life, I would NEVER treat a paying customer like this. read more

Disappointing lunch today, my food was never brought to my table. When I went to the cashier to get my food after waiting half an hour longer than the other customers, my food was refreshed off the line. The food wasn't great, the vegetables were fresh but the entree itself was really bland. (I got the vitality bowl.) It's a nice space, but it had dishes piled up and tables waited a while to be cleaned. read more

My go-to healthy restaurant around Provo/Orem area when I don't feel like eating something heavy and processed! The chicken almond bowl is my favourite. I love the light yet fresh flavour they offer with their bowls. Each bowl is filling enough yet tastes delicious too! (Which comes with one warm, soft cheese bread!) The workers are very friendly here, and the only issue I've had here is finding a strand of hair tangled into my bowl. However, this is my first experience of having a problem. Regardless, the workers were very understanding and gladly gave me a new bowl instead. read more

I love their food but tried their app ordering and I was missing tri tip from one of our bowls, each bowl was missing a cheesy bread (from my understanding the bowls come with a cheesy bread), and my cheese wasn't even melted on my parmigiana bowl. Skip the app and online ordering - you're better off just order in person. read more

This is a new location for me. I have been to the location in American Fork but love this new design for the Provo location. I got the chicken harvest bowl and it was so delicious. I love the large pieces of sweet potato and the roasted vegetables. The dressing was delicious. They also have some amazing smoothies and treats if you're looking for something sweet. There is plenty of seating available if you'd like to eat inside. The staff was very nice. They have amazing suggestions. Many of them have dietary restrictions as well which was very nice to hear some of the great options that fit my diet read more

Not to even mention the tiny amount of food that is given in exchange for an arm and a leg. $15 for enough food to fit in the palm of one of my hands!!! I'm happy to pay for a clean meal that doesn't feel like a brick in my stomach, but you're just asking to throw money away if you eat at this location. I got the Chicken Almond-wild Rice Bowl and it was delicious! I came in at about 12:30pm on a Saturday and the place was pretty busy, but there wasn't a line to order, which was good. All the ingredients in my bowl were incredibly fresh (sweet potato bites, roasted broccoli, wild rice/brown rice blend, chopped grilled chicken, a creamy cilantro ranch tasting dressing, a DELICIOUS pico de gallo, kale, and a puffy cheese bread on the side. It was SOOOO good-- way above what I expected. With tax included, it was $10.77 and I would say I definitely got my money's worth with the freshness of the ingredients and the good portion. I would love to come here again to try their breakfast options (served from opening to 11am) and to try other options like their salads, açaí bowls, and wraps!
