So fun!! They have a variety of Axe Throwing games, we came in about 4ish and played until closing, our arms are sore lol

My husband and I went there today for our wedding Anniversary and it was a blast! We did the Axe Throwing and played darts! So freakin fun! Thank you, you guys for having us! It was so fun! We will be coming again.

Auburn AXE, Will be back! Thanks Phil!

Definitely the best AXE throwing spot around. They have a great interactive system! We had a party of 10 people! Phillip was working the front desk. Super professional, Awsome dude, goes above and beyond, helped us as a party every step of the way. We came from Sacramento to come here, Great experience will definitely be back!!! Thanks Phillip!

Was looking to do something different on a weekend and the weather kind of sucked anyway so being outside wasn't much fun and lucky for me I found this place. Surprised my dad with a reservation here and we just started off with an hour to make sure we liked it. Oh boy we enjoyed ourselves! I think we played every single game that they offered and even bumping it up to the more difficult levels. We actually kind of surprised ourselves and were throwing the axes well. Very rarely would they not stick on the board so that made us happy. We tried a few of the beers and the montucky was probably our favorite. They also have darts and I believe you can pull out some cornhole boards. But the weather wasn't very good so you couldn't pull them out outside. The owner was super friendly and the worker there was just as friendly as well. Gave us a brief lesson and off we went. Will totally be back as we enjoyed it very much.

We had a party of 7 for a birthday celebration. James was right there to instruct us and even brought out throwing knives much to our enjoyment! We highly recommend Auburn Ax throwing! We will definitely be back

Owners of the business are so kind and helpful, willing to give tips and pointers as needed, and yet not overly attentive.

Great atmosphere to watch a sports game, w/ TVs 360 degrees around the venue. Was greeted and seated immediately and the food came very quick after ordering. The staff were also incredibly friendly and on it. Like when I ordered a burger, our waitress noticed the ketchup container was near empty. So she immediately replaced it w/ a full container before the food arrived. It's the little things that make the big things matter :) I really enjoyed the NorCal Burger. A Cheesburger w/ good portions of avocado and bacon added. My friends also enjoyed their classic burger and the spicy BBQ burger. But I was able to steal some of my friend's onion rings and that was the real MVP.

We waited about 5 minutes at the front door before anyone greeted us. The hostess eventually came out from the back and apologized for the delay as she seated us. The manager was visible behind the bar but seemed unaware of the flow in the restaurant. With the dining area half full, there was just one server on the floor. After being seated, we waited another 8 minutes without anyone stopping by to greet us or bring water. Other customers around us were also experiencing long waits for service and food. A small crowd started forming at the entrance with no additional staff coming up to help, while the manager continued helping at the bar. Look, sports bars don't need to be fancy, but basic competence matters. This place had zero urgency, zero accountability, and zero care for customers. The manager's total disconnection from what was happening in the restaurant was especially frustrating. It felt like the team was understaffed and stretched thin, and there wasn't much proactive attention given to guests. I'd suggest trying another spot if you're looking for a reliable experience.

Lisa Ford, the co-owner, went above and beyond in every possible way. She designed a menu within our budget, created a customized bar menu, and she and her amazing team decorated, cooked, served, and made the patio feel warm, beautiful, and welcoming. They truly handled everything with such care and excellence. We were able to play our own customized Spotify playlist on the back patio for a fun Yacht Rock Friday night feeling, and their IT/AV support, Randy, helped us play a personalized video of the couple on the patio TV throughout the evening. It made the night feel even more personal and special. The food was truly the chef's kiss, the beer by Brian Ford, co-owner and brewmaster, was incredible, and the service was outstanding. Trista and the wait staff were fun, attentive, and made our guests feel so well taken care of. One of the best parts of the evening was seeing our son and daughter-in-love so happy and surrounded by incredible family and friends who enjoyed honoring and celebrating them. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were. Auburn Alehouse is family-owned, community-forward, and an incredible craft brewpub. It is a wonderful place for private events, date nights, gatherings, celebrations, or simply a great meal with great beer. If you are in Auburn, driving from Reno to the Bay Area, or heading up the mountain, stop here. They are also a fantastic choice for private events and can work with your budget. They even host private events at their Annex across the street. We are so grateful we chose Auburn Alehouse for such an important family celebration. Highly recommend! We will be back - over & over & over! Huge Mahalo Lisa & Brian!!

The space feels open and welcoming, and I especially enjoyed the patio seating. It's a great place to relax with friends or family and enjoy a meal outdoors. Fresh ingredients, great flavor, and cooked perfectly. It's nice to know that even at a different location, the quality and consistency are still there. We ate only one slice each and yet the server never asked if anything was wrong. In the end, we still tipped and spent over $60 for 1 beer, 1 iced tea and 2 slices of pizza. The left overs were not worth taking home, as the pie was not even fully cooked. After all these years, it makes me wonder if we will go back. Very sad...this has always been a 5.0 for me.
