I do unfortunately have to start this review by admitting that I saw a sign on the door starting with "Out of Order Arcade...." and turned to my friend and said "oh no! it's closed!!" while the arcade is rather intimate, in meaning I was shoulder to shoulder with everyone while playing games, it kind of adds to the retro arcade meet-up experience. the array of games to play was quite large and left me busy the entire two hours I was there, playing old childhood favourites as well as trying new-to-me games. I appreciate the bar and "snacks" (I use that very loosely, highly encourage you to bring your own foods if you're looking to eat while you game), which trapped me longer! cute date idea. fun time killer. joyful experience. read more

Liked it here. First time in this one. Brings back childhood in me. They provide step stools for kids that need it. They mostly have bar and drinks stuff. Outside food encouraged. Clean ambiance. Clean restroom. The other restroom is smaller than the other. The bigger one, wheelchair can come thru I believe. Why oh why did it take me so long to check this place out?! Went there with my dad on a Saturday early evening. Spoke to the owner on the price breakdown and how it all works. We got ourselves a couple beers, paid $10 each for an hour and started checking out the games. Very exciting I have to say. The section to the left of the door is the old arcade games, think 80s then the rest are still pretty old but more like 90s - 2000s. Pinball room in the back but those take coins. Since I was with my dad we stuck to racing games and shooting games. Had a super fun time. It was a little crowded at the beginning but not too bad. Will totally go back by myself to try out other games and take my time. read more

We took our kids and spouses (4 adults) and 7 grandchildren from 4 to 17 to this amazing arcade! It was so much fun! Everyone had a wonderful time. Great place for (most) kids of all ages to play some fun and very vintage video games. Talked to Trinity who works there. Super nice and friendly and exudes the fun that is happening here. Owners are friendly. For $10.00 you can freeplay all machines ( except pinball) for an hour. Great selection of games! They have retro, racing, shooting, role play etc. Adults and kids can play. This place gets 2 stars because of the games at this place. They have some great titles that you can't find anywhere else and to a retro game enthusiast I can't recommend enough. That being said... the customer service is abysmal. Went there with my wife on a Thursday paid the $15 for free play and had a great time playing the games but then I wanted to play pinball. When I went to the area to play pinball five middle aged gentleman were just hanging around and one gave a dismissive "can I help you?" I replied with a "Yeah, I want to play some pinball can one of you move so I can use the change machine please?" And I was playing pinball they all just kinda flocked around watching me play, like don't you all have anything better to do? Clearly they were having their boys club meeting and I interrupted. So maybe come here on a weekend when they aren't having their boys club meeting for boys and maybe you'll have a better time then my wife and I did. read more

Soooo Much MORE!!! Way more games than I thought would be in there and yes all were in great condition and working order! A huge variety of games as well... from GenX classic favs we grew up playing ie:Donkey Kong, Centipede, PacMan to different types driving/ shooting/fighting games & so many other great games! They even a great variety of hottest pinball games to date! Also I loved the pay $10 & get 1hr of free play or pay $15 get free play all day on all games NO QUARTERS REQ! (EXCEPT Pinball which are separated in a smaller game-room in the back! The avg Pball game costs $1 per game/per person to play, but still well worth it!! We went on a Friday around 6pm and we only had to wait 1x for less than 2min to play on any games. I went with my friend(both 50 +) & her daughter & a friend of hers (both 14yo and in HS) BUT we ALL had SO MUCH FUN!! It got a tiny bit competitive amongst us but we all left there in very high playful spirits talking and laughing about our skill or not skilled level of playing! A very fun, inviting, non-intimidating atmosphere! Staff was awesome, friendly helpful and informative! Yes they serve food and drinks there (yes adult drinks too)! They have an area with tables and chairs so you can chill, eat, drink, watch your kids play, and or just enjoy the people you came with! PS-THEY HAVE A PINBALL LEAGUE AND HOLD TOURNAMENTS THERE! And These SilverBallSac league players travel to other greater Sac arcades to compete in Pball Tourns! They were practicing there and invited me to join the League! Seriously thinking about it! My grandson had his birthday party here at this location and it was the best party he has had to date. His mother rented the arcade for a couple of hours and the kids, and parents, had full play on the arcade as part of the package. None of the kids attending the party needed to worry about bringing money. I was a perfect way to have a birthday party. Some parents had planned to drop their kids off and return in two hours but ended up staying to play the games themselves. It was relaxing for the parents to sit and drink a beer as the kids cut lose on the games. The people running it were extremely helpful and patient with eight-year-old food mishaps. The people in charge of the arcade made this experience work and I highly recommend this option over Chucky Cheese or other boring choices. read more

First off just got to say that this is indeed a hidden gem! You can call it an arcade or a barcade or whatever you want but it's got all of the classic games you need. Plus it has a fewer and newer things for the young kids. The games that I saw when I were there were things like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong galaga and so on. All the golden era Andhits. The bar is great too It's located Just off center of the arcade so everywhere you turn it's right there for you as you need it but it's not in the way. The pinball machines are great too You've got all your newer pinballs and a couple of old school ones for people like me. But I also like is that there's a few snacks to be had at the bar as well chips and cookies and whatnot. When I was there it had an array of people very family and fun friendly. If you're in the area or you're just driving through this is a great place to give a stop and spend a little bit of time. read more

I loved this place when I first discovered it under the last owner. They had tons of classic arcade machines! When it went out of business, I was so sad to see it go after only discovering it 2 weeks before it shut down. However it was bought fast and within 3-4 months it was up and running again under new management! Place is still super fun, but I was disappointed to see less games, and more than a few of my favorites missing from the floor. But, I appreciate that they kept the same prices as before, since it's a pretty good deal compared to regular, more modern arcades. We rented the place out for a tween's party and it exceeded our every expectation! The arcade is much larger than the pictures on Yelp suggest. The place is great and the parents that came were all equally impressed! We didn't see one machine that was out of order. The new owners are great, helpful, easy to work with, and the place is clean! The kids had a blast and we didn't have to entertain them or clean up. Win win. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a party venue, a place for date night, or hanging out for an hour or two when you've got some downtime.
