The camp store just opened and is fully stocked w/ beer, wine and food items. The staff is very friendly and great to talk with. The dog park areas were nice and large with a big dog wash area near the dog park. We will definitely be coming back and recommend GVRV Resort to others.

A great value at $50/night considering it would be $15/day to park in the lot for the event. Might as well stay there for an additional $35 and have a place to go chill between games! I look forward to this tournament each year now to stay on site. It would be a bit inconvenient staying here if you were not attending whatever event is going on as you need to drive across the entire parking lot to get to the RV area and also leaving mid morning wouldn't be a lot of fun exiting with a full lot of cars.. however, arrive the night before the event, and in our case, we left at 630 am to get to our game location off site when it was nice and quiet. Still cockroaches when you open the cement top to the sewer hook ups, but we were prepared this time with spray and then no issues. Also know there are no restrooms or showers, so you are 100% self contained.

Beware of Deceptive cancellation policy: I booked two glamping sites at Inn Town Campground in…read moreNevada City for Halloween and paid $693 in full. My reservation confirmation specifically stated: "GLAMPING TENTS: by 3pm 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival." I cancelled more than two months before our arrival date, well within the cancellation window stated in the confirmation. Inn Town nevertheless kept $69.30, or 10% of my payment. When I questioned the charge, they explained that although the confirmation states the seven-day cancellation window, a separate policy available through a link says that a 10% fee applies from the moment you book. The confirmation itself does not state that 10% will be forfeited even if you cancel within the stated cancellation window. I asked them to refund the $69.30, particularly given that I cancelled more than two months in advance and they have plenty of time to rebook the sites. They declined, telling me that waiving the fee would not be a "fair or sustainable business practice." I'm posting this because I wish I had understood this before booking. If you reserve here, don't assume the cancellation terms summarized in your confirmation tell you what cancelling will actually cost you. Click through every policy link and read the additional terms, because apparently cancelling months before the stated deadline can still cost you 10% of your entire reservation. For me, it's less about the $69 than the principle. I expect to be able to rely on the cancellation terms a business provides in my reservation confirmation, and unfortunately this experience left me unwilling to book with Inn Town Campground again.
