Service dept could have replaced a back up light bulb. Oh no they danced around that it was a $1,200 light assembly. Took the light out and all they had to do was replace a bulb. Cannot get the assembly out now because the tech tightened so much. He could have left it out and a $5 bulb replaced. $4,000 later after a turbo replacement and transmission flush the warning light is still on. I recently leased a vehicle from this dealership. I have driven BMW's for many, many years - like nine consecutive vehicles. I love wagons and BMW stopped bringing them to the states in 2019, so I started looking at what is the only German made wagon now available in the states (and soon not to be as Audi is not bringing them after this year). As such I did a nationwide search for Audi wagons and found one here that I liked. I contacted them and they were of course very interested in me coming to see the vehicle sending many, many emails and texts. I wound up flying to Salt Lake and getting an A4 Allroad from them. And that's when things went south. I guess I just expected the kind of service I've always gotten from BWM - no so much! I immediately had questions about the tech in the car. I sent those to my salesman. He took days to respond with what turned out inaccurate information. I wound up having to go to a different Audi dealership to get my questions answered. It's now been two and a half months and I still don't have a license plate for the car. I have not emailed twice and called once the finance guy at Lehi, John Nguyen, to see if he has any insight into why or what I might need to do. No response. So, I wrote the general manager, Dave Turja, responding to the form email they send insisting they want to make sure your every need is met (they don't). No response. In short Lehi Audi is interested in communicating with you to nurture and consummate a sale and then after that you're on your own. Also, in case you're wondering, the Audi is in every way inferior to a similar BMW. Update: take a look at their response here on Yelp. Could that be any more absurd? BUYERS BEWARE!!! I came across a vehicle that this dealership had listed for sale on Car Gurus. I reached out for information, and was contacted by one of their salespeople (Wes) on Monday, Jan. 22, 2024. He was friendly, and accommodating, but that's to be expected due to the nature of the transaction. All was fine UNTIL it came down to the price, shocker (sarcasm intended). As a business professional, I kept it friendly while making it very clear that their listed price was inflated based upon multiple factors (age of vehicle, mileage, knowing the invoice price, time on lot, etc.), and that I would not buy it at that listed price; so I made an offer based upon this criteria that same day. Now keep in mind, this initial conversation occurred on 1/22. He informed me that they probably couldn't come down to my number as they needed to make some money on the sale, but asked if I was willing to come up in price? I told him that I might be depending upon what their counter offer would come in as. He told me that he would speak with his manager, and get back with me. Since this was how we ended our conversation, I expected to hear back with their counter offer. This NEVER transpired! There was absolutely ZERO dialogue. The dealership later discounted the vehicle another $1,000, and still no correspondence from this salesperson, a manager or anyone from this dealership. This vehicle was still available as of 1/29/24. So imagine my surprise when I actually wound up receiving a text from this same salesperson on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024 (EIGHT DAYS AFTER OUR INITIAL COMMUNICATION) stating "Hey, just to let you know, we did end up selling the **********". Pathetic! The non-communication/complete disappearance of the salesperson until AFTER the vehicle sold clearly indicates that this dealership had no interest in negotiations, and only wanted to make a profit. This was my first time ever purchasing/ financing a car, and I was deciding between an A4 at Audi Lehi, and a BMW X3 at another dealership. I was leaning toward the X3, but after the service (and finding an A4 I absolutely LOVE) here, I was sold. Poor customer service, bordering on dishonest. We are the original owners of a 2014 A3 with approximately 50k miles. Our vehicle had an airbag recall notice outstanding for about a year. An airbag recall is probably something a reasonable and prudent person would be worried about, right? Well, the dealership kept telling us they couldn't obtain the part(s). Time came for our regular maintenance, and when we tried to schedule it online (and include the recall service request), the online scheduling system showed there were no available appointment dates, ever! So, we simply scheduled a regular maintenance, and when I dropped the vehicle off I asked again about the airbag recall. The service rep gave me a song and dance about "parts in Ukraine" or some such nonsense. Really, the #1 largest auto manufacturer on the planet sources all their airbag parts from one factory in the Ukraine? Give me a break. So, I asked him to have the Service Manager call me. You know what? The airbag parts "magically" appeared that day. I personally felt the entire experience was borderline false and misleading. Good news, the airbag recall is now complete. During the maintenance, the technician reported that our battery was failing. Not a surprise, the car is 8 years old and the battery is OEM. I asked my service rep if I could just buy a battery at the auto parts store and change it myself, and he said yes. Well, I know a little bit about this topic, so I probed deeper, and asked if there was anything I needed to be careful of if I switched the battery. Our service rep said "Well, yes, the vehicle has to be programmed to the battery (or the battery programmed to the vehicle - I can't recall which was given), otherwise it won't work." I was pretty unhappy at this point, and asked why he didn't share this nugget of information up front. I even went so far as to tell him that had I swapped the battery myself, and had problems with the vehicle not recognizing the battery, that I would have been a much less pleasant customer. In order to avoid me losing my cool over a simple battery replacement, I forked over a small fortune to have the dealership replace the battery and saved everyone a ton of aggravation. Basically, my trust in this dealership is pretty much zero and I'm very disappointed with their integrity. I also find their "canned" response to negative reviews pretty humorous. I would like to adjust my previous review that I left. I went from what was a negative interaction with this dealership to what I considered to be one of the best customer experiences I have had. I left a negative review and within 24 hours of leaving that I had someone personally reach out asking for clarification. I then had the opportunity to speak to two members on the management team (not at my request but them being proactive). They took accountability for what had happened and said they appreciated the hard to hear but necessary feedback and that it showed them some blindspots where they could be better. I ended up purchasing a new vehicle from them and this experience was night and day difference better. I got detailed information about the car, the buying process was easy and straightforward and I wholeheartedly believe that they care if their customers are happy. Absolutely horrible! Avoid and DO NOT USE! RUN far away from this place. They refused to honor the extended warranty on Audi and VW. Charged me $4k for something that should have been covered. Communication is horrendous. You have to go through a 10 min long phone tree to try and get connected to someone. But once you get through you find out there is only one person that can talk to you about your service issue, and they only work certain days. After the work was finally done, I filled out a survey. I mean, we're talking about Chasis, power, manufacturing process, you name it. I went to the other luxury car dealerships and they don't talk to you about the specifications of why a drive is the way it is. I'm the type of person to want to know every minute detail about what I'm investing in and why (cosmetically, mechanically, financially) I should be investing in things (ANYTHING). And I want someone who is sophisticated and experienced enough to be well versed in a particular area to lead and educate me. It's even more wishful thinking to add on being charismatic and ultra kind and patient right? Well, it's not wishful thinking. Mitch Page did just so. Heck, even if you don't want an Audi, just get in any car with Mitch and he'll probably tell you all you need to know in a polite and fun way. Financing was a breeze when I got help from Karen, Tamir, and Gio. They don't pressure you into anything. Trying to purchase a car from them was a hassle. They had one to be delivered in March that was what I wanted. When getting ready to purchase they sent me over the paperwork and invoice. They are charging $1000 for a windshield protection agreement "that they put on all their cars." When I asked for this to be removed they said no. The stated "we are not doing a market adjustment but we do require this purchase. Plus, it's our last hybrid of this model." Supply and demand huh? I purchased a set of tier 1 performance Continental tires with a 50,000 mile warranty for my Audi S6. They wore hazardously bare in 21,000 miles. When I went to the dealership to purchase a new set of tires the service desk clerk refused to honor the warranty. I left and purchased new tires elsewhere. Unprofessional, indifferent, inept. I have never had such a bad experience with a car dealer. I purchased a brand new car which had faults. Unreturned emails, phone calls and texts were the norm. The buying experience should've been a warning but I needed a new car quickly. The sales manager I had the misfortune of dealing with was, in my opinion rude and arrogant. It tarnished the whole buying experience. Departments fail to communicate with each other. Contacting the dealership by telephone often led to speaking to several different people, being disconnected or held in a telephonic abyss for a long period. For a dealership dealing with a so called luxury brand, the whole experience has been pitiful, laughable and not what one would expect in the least. In my opinion, go elsewhere. With retrospect and a time machine, I certainly would. I'm awarding them a generous one star because the soda machine in the waiting room has a good selection. If the general manager does his usual cut and paste to reply to this review, I will despair. Especially since he never bothered to reply to my email or address my concerns months ago. read more

I had taken my A8 in because the hood latch had disconnected. This isn't far too uncommon based on research and talking to people and is actually something I could fix on my own fairly easily if I had tools and a lift/Jack and a bit of time but unfortunately I don't have any of those at the moment. Their staff was very nice and gave me a good bit of hope this would be taken care of smoothly, I can't even describe how deceptive that was. The technicians first and only solution was to have it sent to a body shop & have the hood cut open, which to me and everyone I've discussed this with is absolutely insane and one of the most unprofessional things I've ever heard a mechanic recommend. I tried discussing how to get it open and was told it would have to be sent out, I gladly picked my car up a bit ago and now another shop is happily fixing the issue, which they have done dozens of times before meanwhile Audi apparently was unable to. I think I just had the worst experience that I've ever had in 35 years of buying cars. My wife was looking for a used Audi A5 convertible and filled out an online form. She got a call back last night around 8pm stating that they were doing huge discounts on an A3 convertible. She told him that we couldn't come down until the next day and he said he would be there. She gave him our budget for the used A5 and he said he could get us into a new A3 for "not much more". Upon arriving at Lehi Audi, the three ring circus started. No one knew where he was, got passed to multiple people, and wouldn't get a straight answer on just getting this huge discount we were promised. Eventually just had to be blunt and say that we just needed an idea of the price. Then we finally get a price that was well over $6-8k higher than what my wife was lead to believe on the phone. Talk about the biggest bait and switch. It got even worse when talking to the sales manager who made it sound like he was doing us a favor with the price he gave. Interesting thing was that his price was still over $3k higher than one that we looked at at a different dealer, and we hadn't even started negotiating with that dealer yet. To top it all off, the manager was upset at us when we called them out on the bait and switch. They made their sales quota and really didn't care to lower the price now. read more

I dropped my A6 off today for an appointment, two hours before my appointment at 11:45 so they had all day to replace the Takata airbag (a service that is estimated at one hour). After I dropped it off at 9:00ish I took an Uber to my work since the complimentary shuttle was out on a customer run. My service technician, Hendrick, called an hour later asking if I still needed a ride. I politely told him that I did not, but appreciated his concern. Work got the best of me and consumed my day; I left my office at 6:30 thinking I was done for the day and headed to a friend's birthday. I got out to the parking structure and realized my car was still at the dealership. Knowing what time it was, I quickly called the dealership and was told that nothing could be done and my car would have to be at the dealership until early Saturday morning when service was open again. I told the polite receptionist that that would not work and asked for a service loaner. The receptionist said that was out of his power. I asked him to sympathize with me being stranded at work without a phone call or text telling me my A6 was ready after the Takata service had been done. The receptionist tried to contact Hendrick to see if he had set up a service loaner, he had not. One hour later I took another Uber back to the dealership, waiting for Hendrick to arrive. Once he did, he had the worst attitude one could imagine at 8:00 PM on a Friday and curtly explained that I had ignored a phone call and text advising me of a recommended windshield wiper fix, even though I brought the car in for an airbag recall. I pulled out my phone to show him I hadn't received a text or call from the dealership. Hendrick's attitude quickly changed and he showed me his chat software that had not relayed a text to my phone. We found my car and I left. I spend some good money at the Ken Garff Audi Lehi store keeping my A6 maintained and I don't think I deserve the service that was provided to me. I apologized to Hendrick for him having to come back to work and sympathized that his weekend was being spent trying to correct this error. Leased a 2021 A7 June 15, 2021. It is now been five months since the transaction and I am still unable to put plates on my vehicle. Visiting with the sales consultant and several others including the general manager I was given the excuse that it was COVID, the firm they use for out of state licensing, the state of Colorado, and my county clerk's fault. And visiting with each of them there are stories are all the same that the issue lies with the dealership and not being able to provide the proper paperwork. This dealership consistently tries to place the blame on everyone else and will do nothing to rectify the problem. I've been buying cars for 50 years and I've neverExperience a less responsive or more inept dealership. We recently bought an Audi Q3 from this dealership. In less than 250 miles, a bulge developed on one of the tires and when we were parked it went completely flat. We called Audi Lehi and guessed that they would quickly replace the tire. We sent them a picture and they said there's a mark on the tire, it looks like you hit something. Which we had not! We were dashed all about the switchboard and finally someone in parts said we'll have to order that tire and it will be $250 and wanted my credit card. They pushed us to Service Scheduling and they said the first appointment they would have is December 8, three weeks away. We called our sales person, hoping that they would advocate our position, after all what is a $250 tire on a $44,000 automobile purchase? They said "did you buy the car directly from us? Was I the person that sold you the car? What did you say your name was again?" This treatment was dripping with irony given the omnipresent billboards of Ken Garff dealerships saying "We'd still hear you," which is absolute rubbish! I came in to test drive a car on their lot that was later sold that afternoon, I was told they found the exact twin in Colorado and that they would ship it here. I was also told that once the car was here i could come in and sign off on everything (Audi care, chrome package, etc) when I came in to get the car, they had already processed (the loan) everything without my knowledge and signed me up for extras I didn't agree to. **** I should have gone with my first instinct and walked away from the deal***** ......I've had to come in multiple times to get things looked at and got nowhere! The car has all sorts of weird glitches and they just tell me we cant duplicate it, sorry. I just got a package from USPS saying that the postage on my license plate that they shipped wasn't paid in full so I have to pay to get them shipped (a month later!!!)I did however get multiple calls from the sales lady asking for a good review on her performance so she can get her bonus.... this place could care less about their customer. UPDATE : Strong Audi fixed every single glitch I was having with my car. 4 different updates were performed and now my care runs great! First time at Lehi location and not so pleasant. I Scheduled an oil change for my S5 at 11:30 AM, I was told 3-4 hours would be my ETA. I arrived at 2:30 PM figuring I might have to wait an hour which was fine. Upon arrival they told me that they "haven't even started yet". 4 hours of my day are gone because Audi can't figure out time management. 150$ for an oil and filter change should be done professionally, obviously this is not professional. Rep Spencer did apologize and offered to pay for half of my next service. Things happen, but for a top tier service; this should not be an issue. If it wasn't for Spencer, I would rate 0 stars if possible. Take Salt Lake over Lehi. read more

We recently purchased an Audi in another state and we went to this dealership to ask a few questions about how to work some of the technology features. I approached one of the employees, as no one offered to assist me, and he told me "I don't do that". OK, I thought maybe this guy is not the right person to ask, so I went to another employee and I was told the "technology guy" was not available. OK, this was weird, there were about 6 sales guys that did not look busy and I was the only customer in the shop, so I am sure anyone of them could have helped me answer a few questions. While we love the Audi brand, it has been impossible to get a service tech in the phone when we call. This isn't just once or twice but a CONSTANT problem of listening to their phone tree repeat itself a couple of times only to be forwarded to a voice mail which usually doesn't get returned. I can't get my arms around how a premium brand dealership can have and continue to have such a broken system. This is not the fault of the service writer but clearly a senior management issue where either the adequate technology or sufficient staffing models need to change to meet the demographics of their target market. The dealership is not addressing the root cause perhaps due to costs involved but eventually it's customers will tire of the systematic cost cutting and find an alternative for service read more

Bought a new Audi Q7 in Scottsdale, AZ and recently moved to Utah. The car is due for its first service to I contacted Audi Lehi as they are closest to me. The first time I called and tried to schedule I advised them I would need a loan car. The schedule date, which was already a week out, was bumped another week if I need a loaner. I couldn't wait that long so I called Audi in Salt Lake City and they slotted me for a few days later, including providing the loan car. Unfortunately I had to cancel the appointment. Now, several weeks later, I tried again. I had the identical experience. As soon as I told Audi Lehi I required a loaner, the date shot out more than two weeks. I called Audi SLC and they scheduled me for 3 days out. The Lehi representative didn't seem bothered at all that I was going to their competition. This is my first Audi and, so far, not a very good experience. I've previously driven Acuras, Mecededes and Porsches. I've never had an issue like this with any of them, nor did I expect to. This is why you pay through the nose for one of these vehicles. Audi Lehi clearly does not wish to provide loan cars as virtually every other high-end dealer does. I'll go with the SLC dealer ( a little longer drive) and hope the experience improves. Thus far, the car has been unreliable, too, so, unless something changes I'll be trading it soon. read more
