The first technician, "J", I dealt with should NEVER be allowed to resolve customer issues, probably the worst I have ever seen in 40+ years in retail. Probably damaging the businesses reputation with others. He called Cody the owner, I waited, Cody drove in to meet me. He listened, understood, then simply resolved my problem. I was not looking for something free, or a refund, but some type of solution. Cody delivered. This guy gets it, and I will be a loyal CF customer for life. But I now know who not to talk to if I have another issue.

I called them for a coolant leak job, and Freddie Upshaw, their so-called mechanic, couldn't even find the leak. I told him to leave my car alone if he couldn't locate the problem, but he ignored me. Freddie Upshaw admitted he had no idea how to work on Volvo trucks. He dismantled parts of my vehicle and tampered with the computer system, causing a catastrophic engine failure. Now, my Volvo XC90 is completely undriveable. Gabriel , the owner, is a fraudulent scam artist. He promised me, on recorded phone calls, that he would fix the mess at no cost and by a specific date. However, he has since vanished, ignoring my calls and refusing to uphold his guarantee. Do not risk your vehicle or your sanity with Mobile Mechanic of Houston Inc. Gabriel hires incompetent mechanics who destroy cars and then evade responsibility. This establishment is a disgrace to the automotive repair industry. Beware of their false promises and unethical practices. Gabriel Ortiz should be shut down and banned from practicing in Texas. I have recordings of Gabriel Ortiz guaranteeing he would fix my truck at no cost, but he never returned my calls. This nightmare isn't over; it has just begun 4500. in the hole.

I called them up in October 2019, they arrived on time but took almost 2 days to attempt to replace my hub assembly. When they were done, I tried to drive my car and immediately heard loud crunching. I took my car to a REPUTABLE shop at this point. They told me that part of the hub assembly had been removed before being installed (probably because they couldn't figure out how to fit the whole thing in), the axle was not torqued to spec, and the screws were hand tight. All of this caused significant damage to my axle, knuckle, hub assembly, and many other things. To fix them all it cost me about $1,800. I reached out to Mobile Mechanic at this point. They apologized and told me that they would contact their insurance to pay me back for the damages, but, that it would take time. They asked if I could pay out of pocket, which I did. I kept following up with them over the months to see if they had heard back from their insurance. They kept staring that they hadn't. By December, they stated that they didn't believe that they would hear back and would work out a payment plan with their accountant to figure out the details. I have not heard back since. I URGE EVERYONE WHO CONSIDERS THESE MECHANICS TO STAY FAR AWAY.

You pay via credit card for a certain amount of minutes-then you can use whatever tool you want for that time. A hose with water, soap, dryer, etc. We were able to get all three of our dogs washed in about 20 minutes. We skipped the dryer since it was a nice day out and they would prefer to air dry than the loud dryer anyway. The only real challenge is that it gets pretty hot in there and when the sliding door is open for ventilation, the tiny dog can get through the slats and escape-which she did. If you're not outnumbered by dogs, you'll likely manage that just fine.

After coming back to the shop 3 hours later to pick it up, my car was not at the shop. Turns out they took the car to another shop in town who had the correct machines to get the job done. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time instead of seeing my car driven in to the shop from a different shop.
