I often find Audi of Salt Lake has better customer service than Lehi

Just bought a new Audi from Lehi Audi and the customer service was amazing. We are in the process of moving from AZ to UT and so we knew it would be a crazy time to buy a car but we really wanted to get it done. Well let me tell you the staff at Lehi Audi is amazing, they made the entire process so simple and easy and took all the usual chaos out of the car buying experience. We will definitely go back when we need another one. Also we will definitely be requesting Brittnie as our sales representative, her customer service is absolutely the best. Took Q7 to dealership for repair. The repair experience was mostly positive and covered under warrantee. When my wife went to pick the car up, the service rep told her tires were approaching a time to replace and same with the brakes. DUH! We just got new tires 3 weeks ago and new brakes in October, less than 5k miles ago. I called the service manager to bring to his attention and I don't remember hearing an apology, just "I will look into it so we can do better" fluff. I really wish dealerships would just be honest. Worst customer experience ever regarding vehicle maintenance. Did not pick up my car on time (we are talking hours) - the service Manager Simon was extremely rude and would not offer an apology to me just that "we dropped the ball" comment and continued to be extremely rude to me. I had to call Audi Lehi about the situation and had to talk to a call center, sales department before I could talk with Simon about the situation. Simon and Xavier were not reachable. I was at work trouble shooting this problem while they did nothing. The service advisor Xavier and I never had a conversation because he was MIA - took hours for them to get our Audi and ruined my wife's day. Very rude and unprofessional. Tried to just sell me on $4 grand of additional charges (headlights and under the hood maintenance). Did a horrible job on the mile package service; actually left a part off the bottom driver side headlight but mailed it to me. I cannot believe how unprofessional and rude this location was to me. Honestly, I'm having a hard time believing they did all the service point inspections, etc. regarding the maintenance. Worst car service dealership I have ever encountered. Simon was so arrogant and rude I cannot understand how a person like that would not just be employed at an Audi dealership but to be a Manager? Incredibly horrible experience. read more

Came to this dealership do have a diagnosed on my car since I've been having issues with my headlight. They told me it was the ballast. They wanted to charge me $900 to get that fix. I looked it up and the ballast cost $50 online through the Audi page. When told the guy he said the ballast would be around $120 or something like that and the rest is for the service. Whaaat?! That's crazy that's how much they charge for to replace that. It took my husband 30 min to get the new ballast in. Not only was that the problem (rip off) but when we put the new ballast that wasn't the issue. Ended up finding out that the headlight cable was broken. Pisses me off how this people want to charge so much and yet that wasn't the issue. Now I went back to Lehi Audi to get a "service due" post on my dashboard taken off since I had another dealership do my service and the young girl wanted me to pay $75 to get that taken care off. That takes 10 min or less to take off. Never in my life have I had a dealership want so much money for something even their other dealers do not charge. Love the Audi brand but had a terrible buying experience here. Brand new car, financing complete, took the car for the weekend and brought back to have a Clearbra installed. Everything went south after that and we didn't get the car back for another month, and one lease payment spent. I'll be traveling farther north for any work I need done on this new Audi. read more

I brought my car into the service center to get the typical 10,000 mile interval service (oil change and inspection) along with the request for them to run diagnostics since my car was making clicking noise that I thought was coming from the timing chain. Turns out my car needed a serpentine tensioner, pretty hefty repair. I decided to not do the service through Audi since the price was substantially more expensive than my locally loved Euro Specially shop (no real surprise). I went in to pick up my car which supposedly had the oil change and inspection done along with the fee for diagnosis ($296 out the door). I felt good about that price for the service they had done, that is, if they actually did the service. The key word there is "if they actually did it". It turns out the oils change didn't get done even thought I paid for it. It was an honest mistake on their end, through some confusion from the tech ect. But, it was a headache trying to get someone on the phone who actually would believe me when I said that it actually didn't get done. I used to do oil changes all the time, now I don't because I don't care to get dirty yatta yatta yatta. Long story shot when the oil is half a quart, the same filter is in, and the service interval didn't get reset it's pretty obvious it didn't get done. Luckily I finally got Simon on the phone (the manager) who was great, he was very helpful and sympathetic to the headache I had to put up with. To sum up with long story, Simon was able to get the oil change and all the major service done for an amazing price. He was very helpful and he made the situation much better. I was in the car business for 15 years and buying cars now for 4 years out side the business. This was the 1st time I was wowed. The sales person Sean and MGR John were incredibly helpful and nice. They treated the wife and I better than any dealership or store for that matter. Anyone looking for an Audi or even any used cars they have, it is worth checking them out. read more

I purchased a used car from Audi Lehi and was pretty happy with it until a check engine light came on. I had purchased an extended warranty that the dealership sold for the car supposedly covering for 75,000 more miles. I called the service department for 3 weeks and could not even get a return call. I ended up having the problem fixed at another dealership and now I am really happy. *WARNING: do not take your car here to be repaired! Unfortunately no stars is not an option here! July 4, 2014: *My Audi died going up a hill I pulled over called a tow truck and had it towed to Ken garff Audi. A few days later I was called and told it was the transmission I was also told they had found a used one and it would take 4 to 5 business days to get in and 2 days to install. I gave the go ahead to proceed. July 21 *I called to check in with my car.. I was told the wrong transmission (not a Manual) was ordered and they need to "find" another one..umm o.k.. August 4 *Once again I call to check in, the main guy is not around and no one knows what's going on with my car August 5 *I call, same answer as the day before August 7 *I call again. This time I'm told they found one and its on its way. August 14 *I call to check in, I was told it didn't fit as smoothly as they had hoped and they needed to work on a few minor adjustments..At this point I'm concerned it wasn't the correct transmission.. August 18 *car is done and I can come get it. I pick up the car and head home..driving in a canyon with no cell reception 5 miles from ken garff Audi and car breaks down!!! * obviously no test drive was performed* I run up and down the road to find reception and call a tow truck . August 20 *I was called and told I need a new engine, he said he would call Around to find one.. August 22 *he found one with 75,000 miles on it I decide to proceed. after this point I call at least once a week and the main guy was never around. December 17. Yes December.. * I get a call, my car is ready I let them know I am busy with work for the next several days, they said they could bring the car to me..sounds good. At the end of my workday I get in my car to drive home I now notice the car idols rough,sounds like sunroof seal is broken(most likely from sitting in cold winter temperatures outside in their lot for the last 5 months) headlights don't turn immediately on and oil temperature gauge is not working! I finally get home and sit down with the receipt apparently I am now the proud owner of an Audi that now has an engine with 110,000 miles on it!!! WHAT!!!!!! I agreed to an engine with 75,000 miles on it!!!!! It also stated I refused to replace the timing belt (I was never asked) and turbo?? They put a used turbo in my car?? I was never made aware there was something wrong with the turbo!!!!!! The next day I called the dealership to voice my concerns they said bring it in and they will change the timing belt and I will pay for the part only(200.00) and they will check The headlights and oil temperature gauge. January 8, 2015 * The next day I go to pick up my car and the bill is $500!! I was told it was common knowledge that the water pump needs to be replaced when the timing belt is changed!! What??!? I was also told the headlights were fixed and that fixing the oil temperature gauge wasn't a feature for that engine and I didn't need it anyway!!! A few problems here I didn't OK that engine and who are they to decide what features my car has?!?!! And what about that turbo? Oops sorry we didn't tell you about that? They stated. A week later I notice a pool of oil in my driveway..to make sure the oil level is o k I pop the hood to check it, there is now a broken broken oil dip stick in my car and there are screws missing in my engine cover!! also driving up hills The transmission feels like it's slipping and is now miss firing upon acceleration. I call and voice my concerns and would like my car repaired they disagreed with me and was asked if I knew how much money they were losing on this!!! Seriously??!!!! Eventually They be grudgingly agreed to let me bring my car in. March 17 2015 They "say" they repaired the oil leak, replaced the dipstick and put remaining screws in engine cover.. They also put in the repair receipt that as of 3/17/15 they are done repairing my car!! If they guarantee their work why would they feel the need to add that???!! I told them that was ridiculous and I wasn't agreeing to that. At the beginning of this year my car broke down I took it to a mechanic he took a look and informed me it was my turbo!!! Remember that turbo I never knew needed to be replaced and they replaced it anyway with a used one?????!!!!!! I call ken garff Audi and leave a message. No return phone call.. The car has never stopped leaking oil nor has run right since bringing it to Ken garff Audi. Given the level of brand of Audi I expect a level of craftsmanship and integrity that was grossly lacking and I find it extremely disappointing. The GM Doug P didnt want to speak with me and instructed I speak with Simon in the shop.Same guy I have been dealing with. Simon told me tow my car to the shop and IF it's the turbo he MAY see what he can do about it. If a part for your car isn't covered under warranty DO NOT GO HERE! This dealership will overcharge you! If I could give zero stars I would. They were going to charge me $1300 to replace a blower motor. If you have a car part that needs to be replaced and is not under warranty go to Alpine foreign repair they give you fair pricing and are great at what they do. read more

We purchased a brand new Audi A4 in 2006 when their store was located in Orem. For 2 years we have received notifications of air bag recalls from Audi. Ken Garff Audi has refused to honor the air bag recall giving us nothing but the run-around how they don't have parts and we have been put on a list. Audi makes a great car. I watched an Audio video just now about how QUICK and easy it is to change oil and filter at home. Yesterday, I was very disappointed that it would take 2 1/2 hours of my waiting in the waiting area at Audi Lehi to just get an oil and filter change. Since I live 30 miles from my dealership I had other business to take care of in the Lehi area so next time I will get a loaner car so I am not wasting 2 1/2 hours. Previously I have had an oil and filter change with my Ford Edge which took half that time else where. The only thing that half way made up for the 2 1/2 hour wait was that my car was hand washed and a personal thank you note from a friend was left on my steering wheel. I felt that making an appointment and having my car there on time that I should have been in and out for half that time. Audi Lehi must have a problem with time management because I read another review very similar to mine regarding the time issue after making an appointment for service. read more

Absolutely awful experience. Dealt with the salesman Daniel, who was friendly, helpful, and spent a good amount of time with one particular used vehicle on the lot. The manager, Shane, was then involved, who was absolutely rude, unprofessional, and apparently bi-polar. Shane greeted me and my fiance with handshakes and a smile...which seem genuine at first. When I didn't instantly agree to his offer, he shifted to a completely different person, and the whole situation turned awkward and uncomfortable. I let Shane know I needed a few minutes to think things over (rather, I was contemplating walking out the door immediately). Once Shane went back to his office, the salesman had to apologize multiple times for the behavior of HIS manager. Next, after dealing with only the salesman (after Shane threw his temper tantrum and stormed off), we talked about more options and price. Shane came back again, with his disingenuous smile, and was back to playing nice guy. After trying to force an agreement that I didn't agree to, and after constantly interrupting both myself and my fiance, I told him that I needed some more time. His response was a very sarcastic, "Have a good night." He stormed off and that was my (unfortunately) unforgettable experience with this dealership, and very specifically, the manager, Shane. Sure, I'm only one of the thousands of customers who will walk in the door, but solely as a result of my experience with Shane, I won't be stepping into this dealership ever again. read more

I drove a very long way to pick up a slightly used car, CPO with (allegedly) fresh service. Got to the dealer a little early but the car was not ready although we've been speaking for several weeks and they knew I was going to pick up the car. During the preflight, I asked if the service had been performed-CPO was supposed to include service-it was not done. I asked if the tires had been checked. (twice). They had not been checked and I got a TPMS failure on the freeway 30 miles from the dealer. I called the dealer and left a message but no return call. I emailed and asked to speak with the GM, Dave Turja but instead received a call from the manager. I asked twice on different occasions to speak with the GM and both times I was denied. Either they did not relay the message or he decided not to call. There is more to the story but the bottom line is the car was nor thoroughly checked and not ready to go (and service was not performed as promised). I should have been able to get in and drive cross country with no worries. The bottom line is customer service was terrible. read more

I was amazed by how above & beyond their service department went for me when I brought my car in for a small warranty fix. They didn't have to replace a part for me for free, but they chose to just to give me a higher level of service. I have taken my car in for repairs at multiple Audi dealerships as I have been an Audi owner for 16 years now, but I have never had any of the other dealerships take care of me like this service department did! It was not only shocking to see the service department bend over backwards for me, but incredibly refreshing! They had literally nothing to gain, just money to lose by helping me out like they did. But they did it anyways and far exceeded my expectations! This will definitely be my Audi dealership I go to from here on out! I highly recommend them! Avoid this place like the plague! My son is away at college and had a flat tire. There is no "key " for the locking lug nut so we tried to get help 4 times from the service department there and they are the most unprofessional group I have ever worked with, especially Rich who is one of the service advisors. Basically said we would be lucky if they would help us and don't hold our breath. Hopefully they lose their Audi franchise license as they are such a poor representation of a great car. DO NOT expect to get any service from them if you buy your car there. You will be treated like trash by the arrogant and unprofessional staff. read more

Where do I begin. I was so excited about my new to me (used) 2018 Audi Q5, up until I went in person to Audi Lehi. My previous vehicle was valued $2,000 higher at another Audi dealership, but they did not consider that pricing. I also received free roof racks from another Audi dealership after they heard I wasn't given them upon purchase from Audi Lehi. The other dealership, also trying to make up for my horrific experience installed a trailer hitch FOR FREE. Something that Greg (the manager at the time who appraised my previous vehicle) insisted they could not do for me without an obscene charge. This was my first car purchase by myself, so I phoned in help, Greg rolled his at person on the phone and in front of me. He did not make eye contact with me, stared at his phone throughout our interaction and talked down to me. The salesperson I dealt with even commented and apologized for how rude Greg's interactions with me were. I found the previous driver's lease agreement in the glove box which included their phone number and address, as well as their McDonalds trash under the seat. I paid for floor matts but did not get one with the trunk. The entire process of purchasing the vehicle took 7 hours. SEVEN WHOLE HOURS. I have tried calling to talk about my experience so that it doesn't happen again, 5 times since my purchase (starting again after the other dealership made moves to amend my experience) and each time have been told I will be called back but surprise! I haven't heard from these trash bags. read more

Very unhappy with any ken garff, my current vehicle was bought from them in Ogden and had issues they didn't let us know about, second they ran my wife and I credit after discussing a deal but didn't ever get approval on both sides of the agreement and last this ken garff sold the $33k vehicle I booked an appointment with when I was on my way to come see. They did call me and told that it was being sold but after my family and I were in the car coming down. I live in Farr west that is quite the distance from me and I will give them that they at least called but they could of done me the proper and told the other people we have someone already coming down. I will not trust them a 4th time. My buying experience will stay with young auto. read more

My experience was excellent in every way and I ended up buying the car I inquired about. I purchased a car to be shipped to Ohio and Joel was an excellent Brand Specialist to deal with. In fact, everyone I had contact with was helpful. Buying a car from 1700 miles away without any test drive made me a bit nervous, but Joel understood and went beyond what I had expected in making the decision easier. The requests for information from the background of the car, the Audi brand itself, Audi's after sales service, to the details received about shipping the vehicle across country was thorough and truthful as I received the vehicle yesterday. The timeliness of his responses were quick, again thorough, and the continued follow up was impressive yet not obsessive. Joel provided a detailed video of the car before shipment including the odometer reading. So the key question, would I buy another car from this dealership? Absolutely and I will include them in with future purchases...even living in Ohio. read more

I lack the words to adequately describe the horrible experience which has just occurred. I worked remotely to purchase a car from this dealership, went through the entire process (multiple days), commit to the car, and we agree on a price, pending one small fix on their part. They take my credit card, we work through the financing options and provide them all of the documents they need to complete paperwork. I'm told they are overnighting the paperwork to be signed and that they will be shipping the car to me. Hours later, I receive a call from the store manager who informs me that he has sold the car to someone else. They stated that they did not run my credit card (because they were supposed to be repairing the sunroof) so therefore the downpayment was never processed and the car was not mine. You hope to work with people that have honesty and integrity, but that wasn't what I found here. I tried calling Rusty... No answer. Tried calling Andrew, the sales guy that I had been working with... No answer. No one had the respect to even return my phone call. I feel like 1 star is being too generous! I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this dealership. read more

Dealt with them a couple times and had pretty lousy experience. The service advisor I dealt with was unfriendly and seemed like he didn't want to do his job. When my wife asked the service advisors boss if we would be eligible for a discount given our circumstance his response was out of line. He said he felt like he was being personally attacked??? We left a message for the guy in charge, Dave, explaining our experience in the message but he never called us back. I got a call from Audi Lehi asking about my experience a week later and told them basically the same thing. We never heard back from them. We decided to go to Strong Audi for future service and when I called Audi Lehi and spoke to the service representative to send me the prior service records he made an excuse telling me he wanted to give them to me in person at my next service appointment. He basically sensed I was going to go to Strong Audi for future service and was dragging his feet on giving me the service records. There is a reason why Strong Audi is booked out about 2 weeks for an appointment and Audi Lehi can see people same day. I figured out why after getting my car serviced at Strong Audi. They really take care of their customers. Don't plan on going back to Lehi Audi. read more
