Recently bought a car and it was delivered unclean, with non functioning fob and without registration. Contacted management and they were quick to respond (appreciated) but the actual people who are supposed to do the work are lazy. They sent someone to pick the car so it can be detailed but they only spot cleaned and returned. The sales person completely disappeared once the transaction was complete. See pictures. read more

Audi Marin has been completely unhelpful in resolving issues with this car. i still can't charge through the DC port! Now I need to replace the tires. third parties cant get the tires so i am forced to get them through the dealer. i can't get an appointment to change the tires for 1 month! Dont get an Audi. i have bought them for years but the service on these expensive cars is atrocious and the management really doesn't care! read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. Couple days ago my family and I went to see cars, we're Hispanic and I'm assuming that because of that they didn't even say hi or anything. We were walking around the lot for around 15 minutes and not even one associate offered to assist us. Quite disappointing. The salespeople that I spoke to were young men and they gave me a very strong impression that they didn't think I had the money for a car so they were not helpful whatsoever. Not sure if I caught them at a bad time on a Saturday afternoon, but they seemed severely understaffed. When I got there, there was already three other couples who were waiting for a salesperson. After checking in, we waited for another 30 minutes, taking a look at some of the other cars in the showroom before noticing that nobody in front of me had been seen yet. I'm not sure what the staff was doing...one of them was sitting at his desk watching tennis on the computer; I sure hope he was the finance guy and had nothing better to do, and not a salesperson slacking off. My husband called to inquire an appt. To return our lease (Audi SQ5) at this location, but they told us they are under new management and they are currently NOT taking any end of lease returns at their branch. I find that very odd and very shady, because I have never heard of such BS where they are not taking any cars back. Like seriously, this is ridiculous. I was a long time customer with former "Sonnen" which was run by the Sonnen family and a pleasure to deal with. After purchase and lease of 5 Audi's, I felt to be part of their family. Indigo took over...and quality of service dropped, prices rocketed up and communications with them took a dump. Luckily I found an excellent non-Audi small shop with excellent service, pricing, straightforward feedback and friendly staff, much like the excellent service we are used to with our Suburu purchases and service just across the freeway from Indigo. Sadly, we will no longer purchase Audi's from this company. I have 2 recalls presently on my Audi S-5, earliest service slot is 2.5 months out! In our experience a shady, unethical and inept dealership, based on the following observations, 1 - Lies about Payment Options: The Sales team (Amal Bouhmouch and the GM Rod H.) lied to us about payment options, even when specifically asked. We could have just paid with a cashier's cheque instead of a personal cheque which resulted in a hard credit check (as confirmed by their finance department). We were lied to even when specifically asked about this. I am surprised how this management team is not being investigated. Where is BBB Marin? 2 - Lies about condition about the vehicle being delivered: The car was delivered to us with dangerously low and uneven low pressure on the tires, 14+ PSI less inflation than manufacturer recommended PSI on the door 3 - The oil levels were at 50%, even though it was supposed to be topped off. Again specifically asked and confirmed by Amal Bouhmouch. We had to take the car into service 3 months into ownership 4 - Not to mention stains and grime all over the car which was supposed to have been fully detailed. The dealerships proposed resolution was a detailing on a weekday without a loaner! 5 - Lack of basics as it relates to customer experience. If you are expecting a sales experience befitting the class of this brand, don't expect it here. Unprofessional and deliberate misleading communication (aka LIES) during the sales process and no follow ups. These are the highlights, several other lies and negligence but who has the time....in one word. AVOID. read more

I purchased my Audi from this dealer in 2017. They sold me on "We have one of the best service centers, you'll be treated great because you purchased from us". Everytime after my car has been serviced here there has been a problem immediately after. I forgave them that maybe they were mishaps. Tried to schedule an appointment today and was told they couldn't give me an estimate on how long the oil change would take and they won't give out loaner cars for that anymore. They used to provide that service, I probably haven't purchased a car in long enough where they feel like they don't have to treat us well anymore. Walked in a couple of weeks ago to get a new Q5. The salesperson was new and polite. We agreed to the price for my trade-in and the new car in 15 minutes. Then I waited THREE hours for paperwork to be ready. After signing for one more hour, I left with the new car. Two days later I got a call from a "finance manager" who said they had made a mistake and needed to cancel the contract. And if I didn't agree to the new price, I needed to take the car back in. WHAT??!! I was about to have eye surgery and couldn't drive/see. The person at first was extremely rude despite his own mistake. The new price was $250 a MONTH more than the agreed upon price. After consulting with a lemon lawyer and reviewing the contract, any dealership has the right to cancel the deal within 10 days from purchase. The manager said he wasn't going to negotiate the price and if I didn't accept it, his boss told him to get the car back. Wow. At this point I had already traded my car in, cancelled insurance, gotten insurance for the new car, was about to go out of town. I tried contacting the store manager, Mike Christian, but never heard back from him. At the end, I agreed to sign the new contract. Guess what! They made another mistake and I was asked to sign a THIRD agreement a week later. This place is a huge mess. I was totally shocked as I've owned way fancier brands and way worse brands and had NEVER had any issues signing a lease. This will be my first and last car from Audi Marin. Take your business elsewhere!!! read more

I have been shopping for a new car for my wife since May and trust me, dealerships have treated me poorly. When I spoke with DJ at Audi of Marin, he was so kind and welcoming, he was even willing to hear me out. It didn't stop there, Omar his manager was just as kind and welcoming and was wonderful. He not only made me feel comfortable purchasing my E-tron but even was willing to accept my offer on it. They are a great team and Chris at financing was amazing and gave us great deals on extended warranty and so many options of financing. This place is top notch customer service and you are a valued customer when you come in. By the way, if you are an employee of the city of San Francisco, let them know and bring a paystub as proof, you get an amazing rate that will seem unbelievable. Everyone here is awesome. Wow. I can't say enough terrible things about our experience here. Maybe we haven't linked up with the right person? I'm glad some customers are having better luck. Calls are consistently unanswered and unreturned. Appointments are cancelled and not followed up on or rebooked. Audi service cars are booked MONTHS in advance only to be swapped with a random rental car. I wouldn't call this "service" at all. For a luxury brand, the experience hasn't been on par with what you'd expect of a brand like Audi. We are in the midst of shopping for a larger SUV and the Q7 is at the top of our list... but our experience as customers of this dealership makes us want to consider other brands. Horrible experience. I had an appointment to check out a car i liked on their website. When we got there, the person i had an appointment with was busy and set us up with his buddy (which is totally fine, i didn't know either of them so doesn't matter). Now this buddy of his was not interested in showing us the car AT ALL. He did not tell us one thing about the car from a sales view point , we definitely rely on getting to know some of the features etc as we are test driving . He was browsing facebook as we were test driving and the car was full of smoke smell . He seemed annoyed when we asked him questions like if the car had this feature etc. It was abhorrent and as soon as we returned to the dealership, we got into our car and out of there so fast! We never received any follow up from the dealership. I have been to the Audi in Burlingame and had a much better experience there. read more

I had pushed off writing a review about the process of purchasing my car here last year, September 9th 2020. After a long search of looking for an Audi, we came across my 2015 Audi A3 2.0TDI for a very good price at Audi Marin. We took a 2 1/2 hour drive there, the service was great at the beginning with Jason and we got the deal finished within 2 hours. After that day, everything had gone down hill, we weren't able to take the car home with us because we had to "overnight" the papers out to North Carolina so my mom could fill out the paperwork and get it shipped back right away. After a week, we never heard back from Audi. We were not receiving any phone calls or updates on what was going on, and when we called they would ignore our calls or not answer. I say this as in we called 5+ times, However when they did answer Jason would tell us "I'm going to look into it and get back to you" he would never get back to us. Pretty much left us in a hole. Now it is 9/14 and there was no paper work sent out, we are super frustrated and are told "we don't know where the paperwork is". The papers didn't actually get to my mom til 9/17, over a week and we only knew that because she told us. We then thought everything would be perfectly fine from then on out, as Jason told us he would contact us back. That was not the case, he was not responding we had to try and call Nathan the GSM, no answer either. By 9/19 we still have not received any calls, and no one has answered our calls in the passed 3 days after we had left many voicemails. At that point my dad is pissed, and I give it another shot on calling him. I am told "Jason is with a customer and cannot talk" so in my mind Jason can take care of a customer that has not bought a car yet but is leaving a customer who has purchased a car and we can reverse the transaction on him? Then we find out the notary did not send out the paperwork until the 19th and it wouldn't get to us for another 3-4 days. By 9/21 we expected the papers to be there by now and we still were not getting returned phone calls, so my father and I drove all the way from SJ to Marin to see what was going on with the car since no one wanted to speak to us. When we arrived, the front desk helped us and we had to sit around and wait for someone to speak to us, the papers still did not arrive and my we were gonna just take our money back. But I believe the it was the GM (African American) who made an exception to let us take the car home that day, I don't remember his name but he was super nice and apologized for everything that was going on, he had no idea there were issues and was not made aware. That is why I am giving 2 stars, he made us happier if it weren't for him I would've given this place 0 stars if I could. My dad works at Lexus so he knows how things should be run. I love the car though, but the service was bad. If we would've known it'd be like this we would've gone somewhere else. read more

This is a review for Mike Christian, in particular, the manager of Audi Marin. Through the latter half of 2020 and the first half of 2021, I have been in an ongoing saga with Audi Financial, whom I believe have treated me very unfairly. It's been a maddening process -- trying to find a human I can speak to, navigating a phone system of people with no ability or leverage to help, escalating the issue from supervisor to supervisor, filing complaints. Everyone saying, "I'm really sorry this happened. And there's also nothing we can do." Grrrr. It was a complicated situation, with several points of poor communication and misunderstanding, but it was landing on me! I felt helpless. The person who has ended up fixing this situation for me? Mike Christian! Mike took over the Audi dealership earlier this year, and when I finally spoke to him, I realized, "My lord, here is an actual caring person. Maybe he can help me sort through this mess." Well, he DID. He got involved, got himself thoroughly briefed on the whole historic situation, proposed a solution to help me get my car back and re-lease it, and went WAY above and beyond when it required rolling a boulder uphill. When there were issues, he called me. When there were fees, he offered to pay them because he felt bad about what had happened to me. When I was without a car, struggling to get mine back, he offered one. When Audi Financial created more red-tape, or somehow "forgot" what they had previously agreed to, he got back on the phone with them and advocated for me. He literally turned a HUGE systemic mess, that was really causing me financial trouble, into a success for me. And he was kind, compassionate, attentive to details and generous with me the *entire* way through. I offered to buy him champagne as a thank you for handling my headache, and I took him flowers from my garden -- I was THAT grateful for his help. If you're looking for an actual human in the system, well, Mike is one. :) read more

The Audi service department in Marin has really gone downhill. I recently had a check engine light come on as well as problems with the MMI screen. Both were documented by video and pictures which was provided to Audi service. I have a 2014 Audi S4 with their Audi Pure Protection warranty. While both items were confirmed as problems they were not able to fix the issue. On top of that, rather than charging me the deductible from the Audi extended warranty, Alan (my service advisor) charged me a 480 service fee for not doing any work. For those of you who have the extended Audi Pure Protection warranty, be careful that the service department does not over charge you! Lastly, a quick message to the dealership to help with customer relations. I have been a long time Audi/VW owner but plan to switch brands. The approach at Audi Marin Service in the lack of transparency in pricing and poor quality of work seems to be outdated and not efficient. The pricing model and how you charge your customers is vague and confusing even when you support the brand long term by purchasing the extended warranty. As we think about purchasing a new car in the future, the service department's confusing approach to servicing our current car is the primary reason we will not be purchasing a car in the future with this dealership and with Audi. In an era where other car manufacturers now have service technicians coming out to you to support customers and create brand loyalty (e.g. Tesla), the strategy at your dealership and at Audi to try to squeeze a few additional bucks out of their customers seems like an outdated business model and less innovative. Although i'm a Toyota Man, My girlfriend HAS to have her Audi and is a fan of audi all the way down to the way the doors feel. We came into the dealer today to return one of our vehicles. All the staff has been courteous through and through and there's always complimentary snacks and drinks for the customers. The place is always clean and the vehicles are ready for you to purchase, lease or just to test drive. I bought a 2023 Q4 E-tron and right away noticed that any kind of pre-programmed Favorites radio lists would randomly disappear and I'd get the message "No Favorites Saved." I went to the Service Department three separate times about this problem and was told no one knew what the problem was. As my car was leased I exchanged it for a different Q4 e-tron only to have the same problem occcur. Finally, I got onto AudiWorld online and learned in about 30 seconds that this is problem across all Audi cars and not only does it delete favorite radio stations but it will just toggle over to Carplay when you're just playing the radio and give incorrect time of day on the screen. Again, 8 months later the service department said they hadn't heard of this "problem" and I was the one to inform them of this problem. Really? There is a lot of chatter about it online and I don't believe no other Audi owner has brought this to their attention. Audi is saying they won't have a fix until December of this year and Audi Marin had no idea? I am giving a bad rating since the service advisors had to be educated by me, the consumer, about a big problem with their car MMI systems. read more
