I was having an odd issue with my car -- and it wasn't fixed like the other dealership said it was. Because I couldn't wait 3+ weeks for a loaner car from the other dealership, I came here. I didn't realize that Sewell has more loaner cars than all other area Audi dealers combined (I think I got that right...). They hooked me up ASAP with a loaner, and had my car for a week. They were thorough and patient, and found the issue -- and fixed it for me. A couple weeks later I came back to have them do my annual state inspection as well. Manny and Michael were both great to work with. This dealership has complimentary WiFi and water, separate enclosed kids' rooms, and enclosed areas to talk/work with your assigned associate. After a disappointing shopping experience at another dealership, I came here to check out a Defender 110 that popped up on a listing. The experience was bar none one of the best car shopping experiences I've had. Jamie was patient, nice, put up with my stupid jokes, and made the shopping process pretty painless. There was no pressure throughout the process, they were able to answer most of my questions that I had about the car, and were really easy to work with when it came down the discussion about financing (and even found me a better rate than my already low one that I brought in). They gave me tons of options on how I wanted to pick up the car since they're a little far from me but were willing to accommodate my schedule and situation. Unfortunately they don't have a Land Rover location here in Dallas, so I'll have to be handling my servicing and any warranty type stuff elsewhere, but at least I can get free car washes! read more

Earlier this month, I took my Audi Q7 to get my tires replaced. When I got my vehicle back, they stated that I also needed new brake pads, and quoted me a price. They told me that I only had 1mm of brake left, and that I needed to get them replaced. They quoted me $2000 for my brakes. I couldn't afford it at the time so I called around to local repair shops and found a place that'll do it for $800!!!. When I took my vehicle in, they checked my brakes and told me I still have 7mm left. This Audi dealership attempted to SCAM me and LIE to me about something that did not need to be replaced. They stated that I needed to get my O2 sensor replaced urgently and quoted me $1000, along with a extensive list of recommendations that totaled to over $6,000. I went to a local mechanic and they stated I did NOT need to get it replaced right now and if I wanted to eventually it was only $250 to get it replaced. Audi Mckinney took advantage of me. One year ago I visited Audi McKinney for a service and had bad experience. I was promised that things will improve and change. Today I visited Audi Mckinney again for a recall and I see the difference. My visit was flawless. On the visit, Blake, the service agent, verified and confirmed all the information I requested over the phone. Dropping the car and picking my loaner took 10 minutes. Blake said it would take one to two days to finish the software update for the recall. I received a message within the same day giving me an update. Took my car in for a state inspection and when I picked it up, I was told "you're good to go", charged for the inspection and then I left. When I was trying actually do my registration today, it wasn't in the system. Called back today to see why it wasn't uploaded. The first girl said "looks like the inspection was completed, but I'll forward you on". So the next guy I talked to said "you were in when we were having technical difficulties, but send me a copy of your inspection" (aka, looking for a reason that they screwed up) then he immediately called me back and said "oh your inspection failed". Literally NO ONE told me when I picked it up. They said you're good to go. Even if they were having technical difficulties what does that have to do with someone SAYING you failed?! Now I am DEFINITELY going somewhere else more reliable, and apparently having to pay again! Livid is an understatement! read more

After Mercedes and Lexus, Audi the worst experience with issues starting first year, progressively worse. Sewell dealership service did not properly address so layered issues never resolved. I recently took my car to Audi McKinney for an issue with a noise coming from near the wheels while driving at low speeds. Unfortunately, my experience was not as I had hoped. After diagnosing the problem, the service team informed me that the issue was due to wheel bearing and that need to be replaced and provided a repair estimate of $2800 approx. of which $500 was parts and rest was labor. I still ended up spending $265 for diagnostics at Audi McKinney. However, feeling unsure about the high cost, I called another dealership and got a quote of $1400 to replace the wheel bearing. But then I also felt unsure about the diagnosis and decided to get a second opinion. Two other shops identified the problem as something entirely different (differential issue). I had the differential fixed from one of the dealerships i got the second opinion from and now the noise is gone. I am glad i got the second opinion. While I understand that dealerships may charge more for certain services, the misdiagnosis and high quote left me feeling that the service at Audi McKinney was not entirely transparent or in my best interest. I hope that Audi McKinney considers a more accurate and competitive approach to diagnostics and pricing for future customers. They surely lost my trust. read more

I bought a brand new 2021 Audi A6 at Sewell. I came in for my first inspection and my car hasn't been the same since. I've literally had my car in and out of their shop for the past 4 months. They can't seem to fix what they broke. At first they insisted someone drive it home to put miles on it to see if my engine light would pop back on. I resisted at first because I didn't see what the difference was of me putting the miles vs their mechanic. 3 visits later with them having my car for weeks I finally gave in. What happens next. 10 mins after driving my car the engine light comes on again. This was after they had my car for two weeks. Not only that, this was the 6th time they had it inside a 4 month timeframe. They also said it was finally fixed so I had them do an interior detail for $250. All to have my car sit on their lot while being worked on again. Nobody in the service department even the manager seems to be taking my matter seriously. Bottom line, they seemed to of broke my car on its first inspection I bought brand new from their lot. It's been 4 months and now I'm on my 7th trip in to resolve. My cars at their shop as I'm typing the review and it was brought in for an inspection in March 2023. I'll be dodging Sewell all together and have heard similar stories from other car buyers. read more

I took it to Sewell Audi in Mckinney for a state inspection. , which is no longer required in Texas. When I asked them to have maintenance look it over and give me a list of what needs to be done I was told they don't work on cars more than 10 years old and I should take it to Audi Dallas, or Audi Plano. When I asked if they could just run it through the car wash they informed me car washes are only for cars purchased at their dealership. We went to schedule an appointment earlier in the week but the website explicitly notes, "When your vehicle is ready to be serviced, simply bring it by our store at your convenience. Our service department works on your schedule and we do not require a reservation for service." In light of this statement, we decided to take the car in without a reservation. The Service Advisor, Manny, turned us away saying they did not have any availability to service our vehicle. We would have made an appointment if the Sewell Audi service page did not lead us to believe that an appointment was not necessary. It's been three years working with these folks. The sales experience is great, honesty, no sleaze. The senior management responses have also been stellar, the problem is you shouldn't have to get senior management involved very often. The service department is a another story, you never get the car when promised, there is generally some sort of unpleasant surprise that requires moving up the ladder; it rarely goes smoothly. I've bought 5 Audis in last 5 years, 3 from Dallas Audi and 2 (one on order) from Sewell. My solution is buy from Sewell and have service done at Dallas whenever possible. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TIME HERE AT SEWELL MCKINNEY. I went in for a routine checkup/oil change but I recieved my vehicle with damage on hood. Dealership is taking 0 responisibility. I went to look at my dashcam footage and found a few things on there. 1) Vehicles hood was damaged. It also will not close now. 2) Vehicle was launched, went over speed limit & constantly revved. 3) I asked for leather conditioning on seats etc & I can hear him clearly saying he's not going to condition my seats, just make them "shiny". (mind you this is all caught with my dashcam) FYI I paid 200 to have my interior deeply cleaned. 4) They will not take responsibility for the damage. I asked him to look at camera but he said even if they damaged it he's not responsible because my hood is aftermarket. All I ask was for the vehicle to be in the same shape I brought it in & they couldn't do that. read more

They pretend to be stupid and act like they have no idea this is happening when there are 500+ complaints all over the internet including their sales people who can't get deals closed without titles. They need to train their people in the art of lying and playing stupid.
