Yesterday, while driving on the freeway, a vehicle in front of me ran over a piece of tire debris that flew back and hit my bumper. Thank God I had the additional PPF protection--it helped protect my bumper from what could have been serious damage. After this experience, I highly recommend Evolution Motorsports for high-quality PPF and professional installation. The previous shop took the easy way to run the rear camera cable via the roof. I have asked about the side curtain airbag but they assured me it is OK. Subsequently I found out that this is an unsafe way to install it. It can prevent the airbag from deploying or the cable may break and cause bodily injury. I called a few other shops and they all suggested running the cable on the roof. I am lucky to eventually find Aaron. He definitely knows what he is doing. He was able to accommodate me on a Sunday afternoon to redo all the wiring. He ran the cable under the door sill and avoided the airbags. He added ties and clips for the cables that the previous shop missed. He even caught a missing heat shield that the previous shop failed to install. He installed the heat shield and remounted the front cam in a better position. Everything was put back the way it was. It was a very neat and clean job. The shop is clean and the waiting area is comfortable. I highly recommend Aaron and will definitely go to him again if I need another installation! If your car has a side air curtain airbag, do not let the shop install the cable via the roof. Go to Aaron for a proper and safe installation. It's worth it.

"World famous?" The name alone should have been a red flag for the sheer ego running this place…read more I was looking to have some extensive work done on my '99 4Runner Limited. Anyone who builds off-road vehicles knows that finding the right shop is a niche and personal choice--you want a team you can trust with your rig. I had originally received a quote from a shop in San Diego, but when I realized there was a shop right here in my own backyard in Burbank, I wanted to try and keep my business local. I reached out and sent them the itemized list of work from the previous shop to see what they could do. What followed was some of the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced. The guy who called me back came out swinging, practically yelling at me over the phone. He was incredibly defensive, snapping, "Just so you know, we are $275 an hour for labor, and I see you cut this invoice out from someone else's estimate. We are more expensive than them." He sounded deeply insecure and visibly furious that a customer would dare to shop around for the best fit. He later left a voicemail asking me to call back. When I did, a different guy answered the phone and spoke to me like I was a debt collector harassing him. When I answered his question about who I was looking for and our previous conversation, he rudely interrupted me mid-sentence, blurting out, "OKAY, WELL I HAVE ANOTHER CALL SO..." and literally just trailed off into silence. I just hung up. Why would I ever let people who treat human beings this way get anywhere near my vehicle? How does a business survive operating like this? I had a $12,000 job ready to go for tire replacements, a suspension overhaul, front bumper replacement, roof rack and heavy maintenance work. Instead of securing a massive project, these clowns let their egos and hostile communication skills ruin the transaction. Out of principle, take your hard-earned money and your rig somewhere else. Go to a shop where people actually practice basic kindness, respect, and professional communication. The way this entire crew came across was like a bunch of snakes. Save yourself the headache and go to another off-road establishment. And know that this place charges an hourly labor rate of $275 an hour.

I needed a new stereo system in my '94 Volvo. The original factory stereo was barely working. I called around and received less than cordial greetings and curt information over the phone. When I called Audio Crafters and spoke to Arthur, it was like talking to an old friend. Arthur told me to bring my car in and he would give me the best deal to fit my needs. He installed a beautiful Pioneer system complete with USB/BT/Aux and microphone for less than $300. There was a problem in my rear speakers. Instead of trying to sell me new ones, Arthur followed the wiring until he found the problem (after having to remove the entire back seat). A bracket screw for the trunk CD changer had been drilled right through the speaker wires. After fixing that, he also made sure all the other speakers worked properly, adjusted the eq to my liking and showed me how to operate all my extras through my new stereo system. I really like the fact I don't have to find my phone-it rings through my speakers. All I have to do is push the volume button on my stereo and speak, then push the botton again to hang up. What a great deal! I also had some Harman/Kardon computer speakers in my trunk that had recently quit on me and asked if he could take a look and left them with Arthur. Less that a week later he called and told me I could pick them up-they were fixed. He replaced a part inside and they work perfectly again. The nominal fee he charged is nowhere near what a new set would have cost. I am so pleased with the service I received and have already referred several of my friends and co-workers. I can honestly say that Arthur will go out of his way to make his customers happy and give them a great deal. He owns his own shop and stands by his work. The last thing he said to me was, if I had any problem whatsoever, come back and he will take care of it. That says it all. You can't go wrong here! Thanks again. read more

I couldn't be happier with the work Arthur did on my 2024 Porsche Cayman GTS 4.0. I had him install my amplifier and Focal speakers, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Arthur did an amazing job with the installation. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, meticulous, and clearly takes pride in his work. With a car like the Cayman GTS 4.0, I wanted someone who would treat the vehicle with care and make sure everything was installed properly--not just someone who could simply get the equipment working. Arthur absolutely delivered. The sound quality is incredible, and the system sounds like a completely different car. I wasn't happy with the guy at Best Buy. Not very friendly, the price was too high and he quoted me 2-3 hours. I found this on Yelp. Arthur is an honest guy. He didn't have the part in stock. He ordered it. I came in a couple of days later and within 20 minutes, beautiful sound was coming out of the speakers. Very clean, professional job! I highly recommend him. Jamey showed me a harness I can purchase that'll make my truck compatible with android auto. Jamey took a newer Tacoma radio 3.0 etune and swapped it out for a reasonable price, I don't think he even charged me labor. I'll definitely be going back as we discussed ways to improve the sound and I enjoyed the education, learning about sound deadening and how to get the most out of my budget. He's really cool and super excited to talk about cars and audio, where you can tell the guy loves what he does and likes sharing it with people. It's hard finding integral people these days and glad I found my audio guy!!

Jamie is a great guy. I met him about 20 years ago and had him do some work. 1 of the things he…read moredid was to put a short shifter into my car. I was having some issues with it and I got in touch with him. I didn't have an appointment but he said to come on over and he would take a look. I had another shop look at it and they told me I needed a new short shifter. Jamie and his assistant looked at it all morning and he figured out it was just an adjustment is what it needed. It now shifts fine. Jamie is a great guy and went out of his way to help me. He is an audio shop and if you need a new radio, want speakers put in, whatever audio needs you need, you need to go to Rawlings Audio.

These guys helped me get a new head unit in my town car. It wasn't an easy job they first tried to…read moreget it to work with a harness i bought but it didn't fit. I ended up calling the guys I bought the harness from and they sent me instructions to hardwire the stereo straight in to the amp. These guys worked really hard to get everything working perfectly, it's all installed and looks super clean. This guys do great work at a fair price. I would definitely recommend Audio Engineers for your car stereo needs.

My amp stopped getting power. Changed the fuses on the amp with no results. The inline fuse was…read morekinda weird and I don't know a lot about car audio. I asked how much to diagnose what was wrong and they said $20. Stopped in and they fixed it in about 30 seconds. Sounds good to me! Nice guys too. I will come back in the future.
