This was the best decision made, the food was month dropping, the taste was beyond speech. The service was 5 star food 5 star the people was from all walks of life eating. I have been to Augie's off and on since they opened. I have a love-hate relationship because they are extremely inconsistent. Me and my wife have a joke that we hope our favorite cook is working before we go. When it's good, it's really good and makes you want to come back. However, when it's bad it's really bad. And unfortunately, today it was so bad I will never order from them again. The mac & cheese was missing all of the ingredients that makes it mac & cheese. There were multiple dry, stale noodles, completely untouched by sauce. It didn't even have salt. It was obvious just by looking at it that it was wrong, and they have the capability of making a really good mac & cheese so it's just confusing why they would serve that to me. The chicken is usually so good It doesn't even need sauce, today it was greasy and completely unseasoned. The greens were cold like they didn't even bother heating them up before they put them on my to go plate. The cornbread they gave me looks like they rescued it from the bottom of the oven . I'm not want to waste food, and I threw the entire plate away. I'm so sorry to do this in Black History Month. But this was extremely disappointing. I really hope they do better and fix their consistency issues because it could be a great restaurant if they tried. however, I won't be coming back. read more

I was highly disappointed. This was my second visit. The first time was amazing with mouth watering French Toast. I purposely returned & brought a friend because I was impressed!! This visit was horrible!! The food was terrible. My friend's sandwich was greasy (the bread) My French toast was dry as a bone. I requested that my food be made over. They returned my plate with the same eggs & turkey sausage. (Why would they return a dirty plate that I have no clue what or why they did to the previous food!! That's nasty & highly unsanitary & unprofessional!!) I sent the food back a second time & decided to give up. I paid for what was consumed. I am extremely disappointed!! I must have ordered from the wrong menu looking at everyone's else reviews. I was in the area and read great reviews so why not give it a try. They were out of Salmon so I ordered "The Way You Make Me Feel" which is basically two dollar sized pancakes some brown n serve sausage. The menu said it came with blueberries and strawberries but they were just a garnish. Like 4 blueberries and a fourth of a strawberry. I was so disappointed and still hungry when I left. This was like breakfast at Grady hospital. Should have just went to Flying Biscuit but tryna give a new spot a try. SMH read more

Me and the wife wanted to check out a new breakfast spot. First, there is no host. They tell you to sit wherever you like and then forget who came in first. Quite confusing and unorganized as guests at times leave cause either a server goes to the wrong table first or the wait for food is too long. We actually waited an hour for food after being seated and my French toast came out cold. Not sure what that is about because if you cook to order, the food should be fresh and hot. If I would have sent it back, I probably would have waited another hour. The atmosphere is decent, but not as roomy as you would expect. Servers are great, but, they really need to get a host and somehow speed up the wait time for food. read more

Visited Augie´s on second day of opening. The service was top notch. We were promptly greeted by our server and our order was taken. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Substituted pork for turkey bacon. The bacon was cooked perfectly. Eggs were not overcooked and seasoned properly. Overall presentation was excellent and our server Noel was awesome.
