Recently I took my 2015 MB GLK 350 in for a loud pitching sound coming from the engine compartment due to a worn PCV valve. I got a quote for a pcv replacement from Eric, the owner, on the phone. They are the only one who's willing to give me a quote. For some reason, shops these days only want you to take your car in for a diagnosis with a hefty fee before giving you a quote. They diagnosed my car again once in the shop and confirmed to be the pcv. The quote was spot on. Car was back on the road a few days later. Superb job and customer service. read more

I came here off the recommendation of a family member who had good things to say about the quality of work the staff does. I dropped off my mom's Mercedes as it was due for service along with a burning smell. Immediately Erik gave a quick guess as it to being an oil leak. Upon dropping the car off and a half day later it was confirmed it was an oil leak. Both Dave and Erik discovered and asked if the car had a previous repair with the gaskets which was confirmed. The last garage that touched the car did a lousy job with the repair (which was barely a year ago) and this place fixed their mistake. The car had a myriad of other repairs needed as it had not been up kept in a while. I did not feel they were trying to up sell anything and were pretty honest about their findings. The repairs itself did cost a substantial amount (it is a Mercedes), however, upon driving the car a few days later at pick up I noticed it felt a lot "sturdier" on the road and the burning oil smell was gone. They showed me the actual gaskets that were swapped out and how the previous shop did not repair it properly. The shop also did a few extra things which they did not have to, however, it was appreciated. Seeing how my mom is an elderly driver I do feel better her car is up to code and she should not get stuck anywhere on the side of the road anytime soon. This was the car he'd been practicing with and was determined he must drive it for the best possible outcome. August Automotive has been servicing this car for many years so we knew that it was the place who could help us in this urgent time of need. We arrived at 7:30am when they opened and David was there to greet us. Within a half an hour of dropping off the car, David informed us he could get us a new horn and have it all installed and ready by noon. To be honest, I didn't get my car fixed here. I brought it in because Eric told me he could get me in that day. Unfortunately when I got there, they told me they didn't have the right kits to fix my car. We took my wife's BMW 640I to August European to diagnose and repair an oil leak. Bryan called and it was a little more than just a little leak and the estimate was $1,500.00. I authorized the repair. In about an hour, I received a call from the shop informing us that they had done some further research and felt that the repair required was still under extended warranty. They suggested that we take it to a dealership for repair when they could have performed the repair and we would never have known the difference.
