This is a restaurant we have had bookmarked for quite sometime and we finally made it in. Just WOW! The service is excellent, friendly, and helpful. The food is fresh, great quality (they use painted hills beef, if ya know, ya know!), and most importantly DELICIOUS! This place is definitely a gem. Everything is made fresh from the hand cut fries to the house made sauces/aoli! You can tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients, using local PNW ingredients. The Rockfish is perfectly battered with a nice crunch! We will definitely be telling our friends about this place. Can't wait to go back and try more of their food! read more

We were impressed by how the fish stayed perfectly moist inside while delivering a satisfying crunch. We only got one piece for the fish and chips, but it was a hefty portion with a decent amount of fries. The pigfish burger seemed simple at first glance--just a classic burger on paper--but it had so many great layers: smoky bacon, a sturdy bun, a nice char, a well-seasoned patty, yummy cheese, and a delicious house aioli. I enjoyed coming here! The neighborhood and shop itself are very cute. I ordered the spicy fish sandwich which came with fries but I upgraded to truffle fries. My boyfriend got the fish tacos and upgraded his salad to garlic Asiago fries. The batter on the fish was suuuuper light and crispy. I marveled at how something fried could taste so light! Servings were also generous. Would definitely come back. Not much seating though. Only 2 booths, I think 2-3 tables, and some window seating. Not great for large crowds. Probably a party of 4 or less. I overhear: one of the workers say they make their own tartar sauce so that was cool. My only complaint was that the fries were incredibly oily. We ordered food for pick-up: fish and chips, grilled fish tacos, and a fish burger. The food was awful that we had to throw everything away, wasting $50 and leaving us hungry. The fish and chips were so greasy with no taste. Even the fries were not seasoned. The fish tacos were filled with cabbage and mayonnaise with barely any fish. It was disgusting - Not sure how they can call these fish tacos, they were slaw tacos. We hadn't been here for a while and the food quality has definitely declined. Tried this place via doordash for dinner one night. We got a fish sandwich, a classic burger, asiago garlic fries and onion rings. I was pleasantly surprised that the fish was still crispy and delicious after its 8 mile steam session in a takeout container. The burger was good and the onion rings were awesome. This is your classic hidden gem! After picking up my wife from the airport in the evening with my teenage kids, I was hoping to find a spot, not too far away, where everyone could find something they liked. I was not disappointed! Two of us ordered burgers, My Son got the fish and chips, and my wife got the Baja fish tacos. Everybody thought the food was delicious, promptly served in a very friendly manner. These days is as rare to walk out of a restaurant with my family and have the bill be less than 100 bucks. I was incredibly and pleasantly surprised at how reasonable everything was. Time of experience: 4:45 Food ordered: two piece Fish n' chips Caramelized onion and Brie burger. Fish and chips: absolutely terrible overly drenched in oil! I would say undercooked, but I do like my fish a little well done however, it was just too raw in my opinion. The chips which I had to add my own salt and pepper to was the best part of the meal. Burger: solid, the onions were slightly cold but the combination was delicious. Burger was not cooked to temperature requested (one the undercooked side). I'm not picky, I'm sure they would have cooked it more if I had asked. Summary: We must have caught them on an off night. Everyone was friendly, the fries were solid, and the price was decent. I can't believe this was my first time trying pigfish. I had the Philly cheesesteak on a GF bun. It was delicious. My main complaint is that it was a little spicy, and the fries were just ok. Stopped in on a Friday night for dinner, just before 6p and it wasn't busy. Counter staff was friendly and patient as we looked over the menu. We settled on the Spicy Fish Burger and kids cheese burger meal. Spicy Fish was a crispy beer battered filet with spicy mayo on a crisp salty pickles bed. Cheese burger was pretty standard but my son appreciated the pickles being left on the side. You can never go wrong with fresh cut fries.. they were salted to perfection. About a year ago, I ate across the street at Classic Eats. Highly rated and reviewed restaurant. After having a really good breakfast there, we returned the following week for lunch At that point, I had a burger that was mediocre and quite honestly, far overpriced. I remember looking out the window and feeling like we should have tried Pigfish instead. We finally made it back for Pigfish and this was without a doubt one of the best burgers I've ever had. Well-seasoned, high-quality ingredients and a generous portion of fries. We left completely full and satisfied. My only issue was my burger was just meat and cheese. It didn't say anything about lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion, but I assumed it was all standard and included. If I return, I'll request it as that would have been next level. I've had Little Big Burger, Elliot Bay, Paul's Burger Joint, Smokey's and every other burger in Burien, this is the undisputed champ and possible contender to unseat the Kobe Burger at The Met. Not an area I get to often, but I will certainly be back. 100% worth every dime and I don't get a chance to say that often. read more

My family and I love Pig Fish! The best fish sandwich I've ever had, honestly and truly! And I don't really like fish sandwiches like that and to even crave them but Pig Fish Cafe has made the one for me! Consistently delicious, a pretty big cut of beer battered rock fish fried to fluffy perfection, light and not too heavy. Dressed with a little veg and their house made tartar sauce on a warm brioche bun! If a fish sandwich would be decadent in all the right ways this one is! They also have great fish n chips, tacos, varieties of burgers/sandwiches, meals for kiddos and specials. The restaurant is small but very welcoming! They have a counter at the entrance window with 4 seats, three 2-4 seater booths, and a little patio out back that has a back yard vibe. You pay up front and they bring your meal to you. My family and I were starving after our flight into Seattle. I was craving sandwiches and my son was craving fries, so we were pretty excited to find Pigfish nearby on the Yelp app. Unfortunately, we felt that the restaurant did not live up to our expectations. The food was decent but not 5 stars good. The Pigfish Burger had really good ingredients. There was a super fatty (and super delicious) beef patty that was covered in heavy mayo sauce. The first few bites were really tasty, but you really needed something to balance out the fat over time. The Hot Pastrami had barely any pastrami and a lot of mustard, so the mustard over-powered the actually pastrami. As for the fries, we upgraded to the truffle fries for one of our dishes. I think it could have been a real star but the fries themselves were not very crispy. They felt like they could have used another minute or two in the fryer. The truffle flavor itself was really well done; not overwhelming but obviously there. Again, just a little more crisp and it would have been really special. read more

A friend introduced me to this restaurant a few weeks ago- went back for lunch this week and i didnt dream it! Awesome food! Gluten free options, all i had to do is say grilled not battered. And hand cut fries! We found this cozy place and we were thrilled with our food! I had the Pigfish burger and my wife had the cheeseburger. Both were cooked perfectly medium, and came hot and juicy. The accompanying fries were fresh, hot, crispy and salted just right. Do not let the small size of this establishment fool you. Read the reviews and came to check out the Pigfish. Helped that my normal stop (Burien Fish House) was closed on Mondays. Pigfish Cafe will now make it in the rotation when I come to Burien. Had an especially great spicy fish sandwich. The fish was fresh, plentiful and had an airy crispy beer batter that is as light as great tempura. The spice came in the sauce and was a nice touch and not overly spicy. They provided a separate container of sauce for fries or for the sandwich. I read reports of limp fries, but my fries were much better than that. They were crispy at the beginning, but did soften over time. No complaints though. Service was very pleasant and friendly. Got my food very quickly (less than 10 minutes) and it was freshly made! They have limited seating, so be aware that if you have a party of more than 2, there are only a couple of tables for you. Takeout is a fine option. Will be back for sure. Would like to try their Painted Hills beef burgers next. Highly recommended! Great local place read more

I had the fish and chips and there was a 1/4" layer of frying oil in the bottom of my container and fries were soggy and everything was super oily. Flavor of everything was Meh! Was going to order the cold cut Italian sandwich, but asked the two employees for their favorite sandwich and one of their suggestions was the hot pastrami on rye, so that it what I had and it was delicious! What a pleasant unexpected discovery. Was picking up cookies at Treat sown the street we found parking and decided to grab lunch in the hood hadn't been to the part of Burien before. We looked at the menu outside and it sounded great they also had a number of specials posted. Sad got the fish and chips cane with coleslaw. I went with the fish tacos which came with a fresh green green salad lightly and perfectly dressed. What was perfect about this place is the fish was piping hot and perfectly cooked. Friendly and helpful staff. Short wait with indoor or outdoor seating. Seems like very neighborhood joint the staff seem to know many if the diners coming in or picking up orders. January 2026/2 PM. I went there to eat for the first time since the restaurant opened six years ago. I was very dissatisfied. I ordered the two piece, fish and chips and upgraded my fries to garlic aïoli Parmesan fries. At first bite, the fish was OK, but it was a little greasy on the bottom, the fries if they had garlic on them had very little because they had no garlic flavor. I paid $1.50 more for this upgrade of fries. Second of all the condiments bottles. The ketchup bottle was so gross and disgusting. I didn't even want to use the ketchup same for the mustard. I didn't use the mustard, but I checked the bottle and it was gross. The malt vinegar for the fish it wouldn't come out of the spout and I looked at it and it was clogged and then when I looked at the malt vinegar, there was all kinds of stuff floating in it. It was sickening. These people obviously don't care about their restaurant. We sat at the table by the window, which was very sticky. I'm sorry to say this. Because I was really anticipating a nice experience at the PigFish restaurant. This did not happen today. I will never go back again nor will I recommend this place. It was a waste of my money which I work hard for like anybody else. read more
