We needed breakfast after our Hotel closed up quick. Glad we did. Everything here was fresh great and delicious.

On 9/28/25 Sunday after i picked up my daughter, Kaylah from the SeaTac airport. We were hungry for breakfast and we located this local restaurant on Yelp. The restaurant is located in a small plaza. Parking lot is small and we were able to park easily. Upon entry, we were greeted and were seated right away. We had a window view which was nice. We enjoyed basking under the sun LOL! For starters, we ordered two coffee, cream and sugar while we browsed the menu. The restaurant was pretty spacious and clean. Not well lit or bright. It appeared that one section (rear) was kind of dark. It was a little odd. After we placed our order. It took approximately 45-50 minutes to receive our food. It was quite long. Sadly, our waitress didn't check in to refill our coffee. My daughter ordered the waffle combo with two sunny side eggs, hash browns and two sausage links $20.99. She enjoyed her food. I had a chance to try her Belgium waffle. It was light, airy and good. For my meal, I ordered the Avocado Florentine with carne asada (up charge $5.99) Total $25.99. It looked really delicious however, it was not. Unfortunately, it was bland. No seasoned and no flavor. I added salt and it still did not taste good. It didn't help. I had only three spoons and stopped eating. This has never happened. I had packed up my leftovers for my husband have at it. When my husband tried it, he stated it was bland. I rarely give bad reviews and rarely have bad tasting breakfast. This one hit that for me. =( read more

Large open space, not too crowded. My pork sausage was underdone in the middle. The gravy tasted like it came from a jar that's been in the back of the pantry for a long time. Came here early morning waiting to drop off my grandkids at the airport. This was the only place that opened at 7:00 am. We were the first customers of the day. The service and food was good. It's casual ambiance. We read some reviews and most of the negative was on how long the wait was for the food to come. They make the food fresh and have signs all throughout the restaurant that states the "wait maybe longer because everything is made to order." Went on a weekday for brunch and it was pretty empty. Server was attentive and food came out quickly. My favorite thing we got was the churro french toast. Crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Was a little sweet but so yummy. All the other food was really good too! The portions were good on the platter but I will say the breakfast burrito was a little lacking and small, but still delicious. Overall a good breakfast spot to try if you're near south center! We love this place. It's just a regular resturant, but it is somehow special to us. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready with recommendations. Finally was able to fulfill my chicken and waffle craving thanks to Jony's. Let's be clear, there was nothing impressive with this. It was a simple waffle and some chicken tenders on top of it. Nothing amazing about it. I was just glad I was able to finally get what I've been craving for the past few weeks. Honestly, given the wait I had, I was expecting something a bit more to it, but I was content with the food. I was satisfied, but the food was just okay. The maple syrup and butter helped the dish greatly. I mean, it's expected to have that with chicken and waffles and it was good. I guess I just could've just bought some frozen waffles and chicken tenders from the grocery and toasted those up and that would've been the same quality as this. Would've definitely been more affordable to do that instead. But I wanted the diner experience and Jony's provided that for sure. This place was fairly busy, so waiting for the food to come out should be expected. You definitely get the all American diner ambiance here, so if that's what you're looking for, then you got it. Despite the simple chicken waffle I had, I'm sure the other food they offer are better. Should come back some time and see if there's anything that's mind blowing to order. read more

This was such a cute place. The vibe was mellow and relaxed, the service was fast, and the food was DELICIOUS! I got the breakfast burrito that had chorizo, I'm very picky about how my chorizo is cooked because it can be very greasy, that wasn't the case here. The first time I have ever seen Birria Omelette, or Birria Eggs Benedict! I got the Birria Omelette and it was amazing, did not even breathe in between bites. I also got the cinnamon roll French toast and it was also perfect! Crispy on the edges and nice and soft doughy in the center would come back again 100 times. Saw the yelp reviews so we headed to Jony's.First impression, odd place for a restaurant . Nice and clean looking inside. Menu is NOT GLUTEN FRIENDLY. Most breakfast places are, so that was unfortunate . Menu was a little price heavy- omelette were $22. Staff was polite and courteous. Food came out- looked good except 2 things 1. food cup was mostly grapes. I hate that. And 2. My husband ordered potatoes and got hash browns. But eggs were cooked 'over easy' , bacon was good. Overpriced, underwhelming, no reason ever to try this place again. Came in one weekday morning before work. First off, totally empty on a workday in a working class area. That was a warning sign. Lovely lovely woman serving. Even though she messed up my order she was delightful and the only redeeming quality of the restaurant. My two eggs, gross potatoes, greasy anemic bacon, and stale toast with coffee was $24. That's absurd. The food was lukewarm and tasteless and I was the only one there. Sucked, don't recommend. The food was very average and nothing to write home about. Service was incredibly slow, the waitress we had took forever to take our order. I asked for a screwdriver, she said what's that, I said just orange juice and vodka. She came back with a shot of vodka and orange juice which isn't the worst thing in the world. I read somewhere that this was supposed to have a 50s diner feel....boy that sure aint it. First off, it feels and smells like a Chinese restaurant decided it wanted to make breakfast instead. Secondly, the prices scream sticker shock....27$ for French Toast???? It better be singing Real Lady Marmalade (you know the part i mean) for that price. How this establishment has 4 stars is beyond me. I understand 'made to order' but taking an hour to get our breakfast when there was only one table ahead of us is insanity. And let's not mention the service. Or should I say LACK of service. It was deplorable. Everything from asking for jam 3 times and water/coffee twice, to taking forever to simply take our orders and bring us water-warm/no ice- what kind of a restaurant does that?! Now onto the food. Toast and English muffin brought with no butter on it- and we had to ask for butter and was told by our waitress that people don't like butter on their toast. WHAT?!! I had a monte cristo that was NOT a monte cristo. It was a ham and cheese sandwich on French toast. No deep frying. No powered sugar. No jam. And when I asked for jam?! Oh yeah, I mentioned that above... and all they had was GRAPE?! Gross. And don't waste your time on their flat, flavorless cinnamon roll that they served with spray whipped cream on top. Food - 3 Service - 2 Ambiance - 4 Cost - 3 Wait Time - 5 I walked in, a waitress told me there was no wait. There wasn't, so that was nice. I ordered a carne asada omelet and my dad ordered egg whites and hash browns, only. My dad got a ham slice he didn't order, which was $5.99, and no hash browns. We had to remind them. The ham slice looked to be about the size/portion of 3 or so pieces of Canadian Bacon. My hash browns were barely warm and the texture seemed like they were reheated. My theory was supported by my dad's hash browns coming out within minutes of us reminding them. It seemed obvious to me that the cook had a pile of hash browns already cooked up somewhere and they were just microwaving them or something. Hash browns are $7.99, by the way. Even my dad asked how hash browns could cost more than meat. A side of 2 eggs was $3.99. My carne asada omelet (which came with hash browns, fruit, or red potatoes and a side of various toast, or English muffin) was $22.99. The omelet was fine but nothing to write home about. I ordered it without peppers but either way, it was nothing to write home about. The English muffin was toasted perfectly, but didn't appear to be buttered so I had to request that. They appeared to use real butter, which was nice. Service was friendly, just neglectful. There were 3 waitresses working in what is a relatively small establishment. There was a young skinny woman (waitress A), an older woman (waitress B), and a young woman (waitress C). Waitress A was the one who acknowledged me when I first walked in and asked about the wait, and sat us. Waitress B took our orders. Waitress B also brought the food when ready. At one point, we asked waitress C for a coffee refill, and she walked off and immediately forgot. My water cup was empty and ignored until I was talking to my dad about the service and inadvertently tapped my empty cup against the table, at which point I think I accidentally made eye contact with waitress B, who came over with water and coffee. At a later time, waitress A asked if we needed refills. I started watching the 3 waitresses while we were eating. Waitress A was bustling around the entire time. She even swept a bit at one point. Waitress B appeared less busy but she was dealing with dishes a couple times and a to-go order. Waitress C walked casually and aimlessly the entire time, and looked to be trying harder to look busy than actually do anything. At one point, she refilled a syrup container (the small kind at the tables) and walked 2 syrup containers, in one hand, to the back. She returned a short time later, got another syrup container, and walked it back. It is a bad look when you have an employee walking around casually, aimlessly, and working inefficiently - ESPECIALLY when you have tables with customers who aren't being checked on. I really only saw waitress A checking on anyone. They basically drop your food off and then leave you be. At the end, the bill included the ham slice and not the hash browns. When I pointed out the error, waitress B corrected it and it wound up being $2 higher. I don't know how a potato costs more than a piece of ham, but the hash browns weren't worth it. Over half the time we were there, a delivery person was also waiting to pick up a meal. He appeared largely ignored, but I don't know the story behind that. Overall, they could improve substantially by hiring more staff like waitress A (who was clearly putting in an effort), and cooking the food to order. Or, at the VERY least, reheating it on the grill or something so it SEEMS freshly cooked. Where to start, the interior is clean but that's not surprising when there's two people cleaning tables constantly, which is easy to do when it takes over an hour to get your food once you are seated. The food, kids meal was one egg scrambled, one piece of French toast, and one slice of bacon, for nearly $20. My corned beef was one chunk of fat and the rest was over cooked strings of what resemble jerky. Nothing was hot or even warm. Actually that's not true, the one cup of coffee I got in the hour wait was hot. And the single refill I got after my meal was done was hot. I love the name of this place. Why? They are who they say they are. It's a breakfast and lunch place and in that order. They do one thing (or two) and do it well. You have to admire a place that knows who they are and doesn't pretend to be anything else. Great and attentive wait staff. Great food (especially the breakfast) and good burgers for lunch. I've been reading the reviews for this place for a couple years and they are impressive. So impressive that I finally decided to check this place out despite pricing being ambitious for the offerings. You are hands down going to pay 15% more here for items you would expect to find in a similar diner. The issues here were plenty and the first was the wait. We waited at the front counter so long we really thought we were being ignored. When the server finally made her way to us, she was warm and welcome. The next issue was the warmth, it ended with our server as it was in the 50's outside and not much warmer inside. Places that refuse to turn on the heat are clearly punching pennies in a way that becomes apparent in your visit. I decided to try the well-reviewed Almond French Toast. The meal was a complete disappointment. The toast was not crunchy as some reported. My bacon and potatoes were also black which let me know they were on the griddle too long and the syrup was thin and watery and nowhere near sweat. It was either some cheap generic syrup or they are diluting Butterworth to further stretch a buck. I'll say this, I saw plates that came out of the kitchen after ours and the potatoes were golden and the food looked better prepared. I'm not sure what the issue was with our meal, but it was bad enough that I can't recommend this place and will not return. It appears in the few months since I last read reviews, several have reported experiences that are not good, so either this place stopped caring, or they need to ensure a standard that all employees are accountable for. read more

Came here today for lunch on my way to the airport. My granddaughter and I met my friend here, had lunch before I left town. It was GREAT!! We were looking for a "lunch" place and this was perfect. My fried order the bacon cheeseburger and her son ordered a carne asada omelette...I ordered at BLTA and a grilled cheese for my granddaughter who is 3 yrs old. All the food was amazing...and again, today I was so hungry I really did forget to take pictures! I know this will be on my list of breakfast/lunch places when I am in town! I'm town for business and I decided to give this place a try because it was the closest place to my hotel which had an inedible breakfast. I ordered a pretty standard breakfast because I refuse to pay $25 for an omelette. I got two eggs, ham, but sausage links were brought out, hash browns and toast. After my ham was brought out, I could instantly tell it was lunch meat ham. Not much to say about the eggs hash browns and toast.
