I placed a pickup order for convenience and everything was ready quickly. The location was clean, the service was friendly, and my pretzel was warm, soft, and perfectly sweet. It would be sacrilegious not to get a pretzel when I go to any mall. We enjoyed a pepperoni pretzel, salted pretzel with cheese sauce, delicious as always. I don't know what it is about a soft, warm, delicious pretzel that just makes me so happy. This is not my go-to mall so I have not been here in years. Mall food is mall food, but an Auntie Anne's pretzel always hits. I had the pleasure of receiving excellent service from Elisha. They were attentive and let me know of today's deals which would give me the best bang for my buck. I ordered 2 almond pretzels with a glazed dip and a medium strawberry lemonade for ~$16! I should've gotten a large strawberry lemonade because that was SO GOOD. I was told ahead of time that it'll be a 10 minute wait for my almond pretzels, but that just means I'll be getting them fresh. The Valley Plaza food court was pretty packed today, but it wasn't too bad trying to find a clean place to sit. read more

We love coming to the mall and getting some delicious pretzels and a drink. Today we got the pizza pretzels, salted pretzel bites, a salted pretzel and a large Diet Coke. All of it was hot and crispy just the way you want it and they did light ice in the drink like I asked. I will say the drink prize was high at over $5 and no refills but if you get it in a combo you get another pretzel for $1 so it makes it better. The staff was helpful recommending downloading the app to earn points and the place was clean. Great to get a snack between shopping. read more

Had a sweet tooth while shopping the mall and decided to go to the tried & true Auntie Anne's. It was about 30 minutes to closing so you could definitely tell the staff was hurrying to finish and clean, in my opinion that place is always spotless to begin with. I was the only person in line, greeted by someone but took a little longer to be helped. I asked for a cinnamon sugar pretzel but they were sold old out! They had plenty of other selections including almond which I settled for. When it came to pay, the person said "it's going to ask you a question" (the iPad in front of the register) and of course it was asking for a tip. 80 cents isn't going to hurt me but the awkward "asking a question" thing just bugs me. Other than that, I enjoyed my sweet pretzel from an always reliable and consistent location I can go to for that spur of the moment sweet tooth! read more

When I was pregnant I ate many pretzels at the mall. It was very satisfying. I wanted to eat the pretzel dogs so bad but I was trying to avoid nitrates during pregnancy. Anyway, when my daughter turned 2 months I was finally able to return to the mall...and eat a pretzel dog. I waited and drooled 15 minutes for them to make one. Finally received it. My thought on seeing it: What the heck! There's barely any pretzel on it!! In fact, all the pretzels in the case looked skinny. Its not how I remember them to be. I'm always greeted with friendly smiles and quick service! The pretzels are consistently delicious, and this one of the best places to go to in the mall when you're attacked by a sweet tooth. The pretzels are always fresh and hot when I receive them. I believe they do $2 pretzels around 8pm or 8:30pm every night when it's time to close. The pretzels aren't always fresh around that time, but they still tasty. The discount makes it worth it! Also, they have a rewards program and different discounts on certain days of the week. They'll have a "pretzel of the day" and "pretzel Tuesdays" promotions. All of the lemonades are delicious! Personally, they're a bit too sweet, but I enjoy taking them home to add more water to them. The girl assisting me looked annoyed; didn't greet us and was not being very helpful she practically threw the pretzels at me on the counter and was rolling her eyes asking if that was it as if she was in a hurry. There was no line whatsoever so she couldn't possibly have been that busy and there were other employees in the back so plenty of backup. Ordered plain pretzels and an expensive cup of pretzel bites (more than $5, I can't remember the exact price). The pretzels were salty with a weird after taste. My kids didn't even like them. Auntie Anne's pretzels make a delicious snack. This place is one of the two reasons that I will go to Valley Plaza Mall. It is difficult to just walk on by without buying something. They make an assortment of pretzels. The two kinds that I like are the Original pretzel and the Cinnamon Sugar pretzel. The cinnamon sugar pretzel is my favorite! It gets messy to eat sometimes, but it is more than worth getting messy. Just make sure to get lots of napkins to clean up. Their lemonade is pretty good as well to wash it down with. After finding myself in the midst of pure chaos that was just two clowns and an elephant short of a circus in the food court, I opted for a u-turn back to the Auntie Anne's I had previously passed in the mall's north wing. As I made my way back I saw two custodial engineers (as they prefer to be called these days) in a frenzy responding to a code 515 red that had just came across their two way radios. I too was wondering exactly what a code 515 red was when I realized that someone had pulled the soap in the fountain prank (definitely a favorite of my youth). Needless to say, there was more chaos as respondents to the all points bulletin call converged on the Valley Plaza center court. As for Auntie Anne's, I will start by saying that I am a huge fan of the soft pretzel. I'll give it to Anne that her pretzels are better than the Super Pretzel you'll find at a ballpark or concert, rodeo or monster truck rally, but personally I do not find them to be anything special. For one, their pretzels tend to be a little on the thin side and I prefer them, like my preference in women, just a tad thicker. Beyond that an Auntie Anne pretzel has a very distinct taste to it that just isn't quite what I associates with a pretzel and stock from the case, have way too much butter for my taste. I'm not a fan of gourmet/specialty pretzels, but it's possible that Auntie Anne's sets itself apart with their cinnamon and sugar, garlic, raisin, jalapeño, sour cream or sesame seed pretzel offerings. Of course there is always the dipping options of cheese, marinara or cream cheese. All nice pretzel compliments, but on that same note is there really anything that isn't made significantly better by the addition of melted cheese? I do have to admit though, a rally of custodial carts amidst the the 12' tall waves of foam did make for good lunchtime entertainment. Oh and I'm guessing that the lemonade the kid just spilled on the bench across from me is going to be there for awhile. read more

Auntie Anne's pretzels are good. My son loves them also. I've been coming here for such a long time. I guess the price is okay considering everything in the mall is overpriced anyways. I rarely get the dipping sauce I prefer the pretzel plain. The cinnamon sugar one is good. There lemonade is enjoyable but can sometimes be too sweet. Getting a sugar pretzel and a lemonade can send my son into overdrive. read more
