Way better than Wetzels. Cashier was super nice and my pepperoni nuggets were the best!

Our tour guide was very informative and we had the chance to go into a room where they had all of the hops (smelled amazing). We also so the bottling area. After the tour we got to taste 4 beers and she asked what styles we preferred so she could choose some for us. We also did a little shopping and got some of their India Pale Ale and some nice pilsner glasses. We then went to the restaurant for some lunch. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple of flights along with a Lox Bialy and a Lamb Sandwich. The bartender was nice and checked on us often. The beers were good and food was good. Will be back to try some other beers.

They have significantly improved and their food is almost always good. I believe they hired local chef, Ann Leon, which was a great choice on their part. I love their online check-in which has made it feel like such a seamless VIP experience. Now, I put our names in, monitor the time online, and walk right up and get seated. This is now one of our go-to restaurants because of it's consistency. Food-wise, we often get one of their seasonal salads. I'll usually get their chicken bacon ranch sandwich. Fish and chips are very good. When they have fried brussels sprouts on their specials, get them! Very good. Their fries are so excellent that one time they came out cold and they were still good. I do think they have a flour coating, FYI for gluten free folks. The Hot Honey Pig pizza and the mushroom one are so good. Beer-wise, one of my favorite things is they will serve a half point at the actual half price! If a beer is $7, the half-pint is $3.50. I prefer low bitterness, and if you know anything about Sierra Nevada, they are big on the bitter IPA style, hoppy beers. I always look for the IBUs that are helpfully listed on each beer, and select only the lowest ones. Lately I've been getting the wildflower wheat, my fave. They do allow samples, which is wonderful because I would have gotten many a beer I would not like if I wasn't able to sample first. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and they have good outdoor seating on their patio that I enjoy when the weather is right. One place I try to avoid sitting is in the bar area. I have admittedly very sensitive hearing and it's very hard to hear our conversation because of how loud it is there. However, they do have acoustic panels and I can tell this is something they've considered overall, and it makes a big difference everywhere else in the restaurant.

We shared the black forest ham spatzle ( not sure if I spelled it correctly) which is a German inspired dish. It was delicious! Noodles cooked perfectly with plenty of ham and goodness in the bowl! First time I tried something a bit different and glad we ordered this ( came specially for this house favorite). Full bar and a ton of craft beers to choose from! The place is bicycle themed with a bike shop next door. Very cool and casual! When we left it was already very busy! I will come again because I really liked this dish plus the parking lot was shaded with beautiful trees and outside had a nice breeze!

They are great and beer cheese is really unique and flavorful. I asked the server about the IPAs offered and he brought 2 for me to taste. He was right on. the Bike Dog was great. The server was really friendly and helpful. We finally decided on our order, I had the Brueben with potato salad and my friend had the spaetzel mac n cheese. Both were delicious and generous size. The place was simple and clean with some very cool wall lamps made with gears and cool stuff. I will go back the next time I am in town.

Visited June 8 2026. See both receipts…read more I finally got to visit this location with my boyfriend and puppy. Dog friendly! What a cool place with inside and outside dining and even cornhole! We split some type of massive burger with 2 patties and garlic parm fries. First of all I couldn't even get my mouth around the burger...too big! I cut a small corner off and it was juicy and very tasty! I had a glass of chardonnay and my boyfriend got a glass of El Toro. Plus we bought a big can of El Toro to go ( i think they call it a growler??) Atmosphere is relaxing and they brought a bowl of cold water for my puppy ( i actually carry treats and water with me). They have a nice merch shop attached to the restaurant so I bought my boyfriend a t shirt as well( he put it on right away..lol ) The waitress ( Diedra) was super cool and helpful making it a even more fun experience! Thanks Laura in the merch shop. Both ladies very kind and helpful! Its a great setting in an area that is being built up. A must stop! Great time!

On both of my visits, I have been so impressed with the food. Most recently, I tried the nachos, ribeye sandwich, and the kids had the chicken tenders and the burger. The portions are large and satisfying. The kids' stuff was great. The burger is a full-size burger, just without the fixings, and comes with plenty of fries. The chicken tenders were a tad overcooked, but they were a huge serving. Either one could have been split between both of our kids. The nachos are a must-order. The cheese sauce is amazing. We just got the half-order, and it was huge! The ribeye sandwich was good, though the meat was a tad tough. Still, great flavor, and the onion rings were a great add-on. I was also impressed by their NA margarita. Very tasty and similar to the real deal. I love the vibe at Farmers, too. They have a massive indoor space and a great patio space, too. This place is great for happy hour, after-dinner drinks, after-work hangouts, a casual lunch, or a date night dinner. It's a jack of all trades type of restaurant. They also have an awesome gift shop with beer to-go and all of the Farmers merch you could imagine. I am sure there are lots of great restaurants in Chico, but I imagine I'll continue finding myself at Farmers when I visit.

Arrived an hour early and could not resist to partake in great food and drinks. Concert started at 10PM and the kitchen begins to shutdown pushing out the final orders. Sometime afterward, the waiters are eventually restricted from placing orders. During the transition the bill must be closed out and drinks going forward are placed at the bar. Highly recommend "California Haze". Flavorful with a highest alcohol by volume (ABV) rating on tap at 8%. Not overly bitter either. A great alcohol alternative is their very own handcrafted "Lucky Buck Root Beer". Pairing with "Beer-Battered Fish and Shrimp Basket" made sense with a Double IPA (DIPA) at hand! Well-seasoned "Chicken Marsala". Could not get enough of the buttery mashed potatoes. On another day, ordered "Cobb Salad" and "Clam Chowder". Convenient while staying at the RV Park on site (Feather Falls Casino KOA). There's a dollar charge for takeout but justified. Everything was in order. Appreciated the fact they boxed the chicken separately. Responsive service with a welcoming vibe from their staff. Plenty of security making a presence. A place that draws well-mannered folks who just want to have a safe evening of fun.

Thanks to her we got two desserts. The food didn't appear to be or even taste fresh. Even the lettuce on our sandwiches were brown and wilted. It was the most dry pesto chicken sandwich I have ever had and the bun on that and a burger were hard; it seemed like they toasted the buns first then left them and then cooked the rest. We enjoyed it mostly, the price is right and the sushi was good. We all did decide we would all try something else next time and not have the same thing. Looking forward to more sushi in the future.

We sat outside on the patio, which was lovely, and the staff were friendly and attentive without hovering. I ordered the Jam Session sandwich and I'm still thinking about it. It had roasted turkey with cream cheese and this incredible cranberry bacon jam that completely made the sandwich. The flavors worked so well together and everything tasted fresh and made to order. The fries on the side were hot, crispy, and really good too. Honestly, this place felt like something that could have been dropped right into Palo Alto or Santa Clara, CA. The look and overall vibe reminded me of a Silicon Valley café, but the prices were much more reasonable than what you'd expect for that kind of setting.
