The pretzels are really really good. I get the sugar one. You can get some chopped up in a cup too which is easier to eat while you shop.

This place is more like a 4.5 out of 5 stars. The only…read morething preventing it from getting 5 stars was the wait time to get our food. Everything else was fantastic. I'm actually very glad we came here instead of the other places we had planned on going for lunch. When we went, it was not crowded and we got seated quickly. This place is fairly big, with plenty of tables and space. They also have a dedicated "beer garden" on one side of the restaurant. For food, i had to get jager schnitzel with spaetzle. My wife ended up getting duck. Before my food came out, they also brought out a salad. I don't know if it was part of the jager schnitzel entree or the duck... But the salad was amazing. Everything was pickled and very intense flavor. Both entrees were great and i also like the fact that they have a kid's menu that serves german food. (I was afraid the kids menu would have simple items like burger and or chicken tenders, but that's not the case here.) the lunch portions were perfectly sized.... granted its not "texas sized" but it did its job and i left satisfied. What i really like about the place is the interior decor. It looks like the owners brought back so many trinkets, souvenirs and photos from their trips to Germany and it makes it feel more authentic. This was actually one of the saving grace from waiting to get our food, i tried to look around to see all the different things on displayed. Service was great. I'll definitely be back!

My wife fell in love with the owners of the Armor Brewing while watching her No Demo Remo home improvement show. So naturally when in Texas for work, she had to take the time to visit the brewery the coffee company. The food didn't disappoint! The fish and chips were perfectly crispy flaky goodness!

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with TVs for games, live music on weekends, and plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The layout is thoughtfully designed, with patio seating, fire pits, and outdoor activities that make it feel like more than just a typical brewery. The drink selection is a standout. Even if beer isn't your thing, there are solid cocktail and mocktail options. The beer lineup itself is strong, featuring a mix of American and European styles. One thing to note is that serving sizes tend to be on the smaller side, with only a few options available in a 0.5L stein. Service has been consistently friendly and efficient. Food and drinks often arrive very quickly, even during busier times, which is a big plus. The food is good overall but falls into the "solid bar food" category. There are a few highlights, like the cheese curds, which are excellent and a clear favorite. Other dishes such as fish and chips, mac and cheese, and soup are enjoyable but not especially memorable. The burgers are a bit of a letdown, and some of the higher-priced items, like the salmon and short ribs (which resemble more of a chuck roast), are better found elsewhere. Overall, Armor Brewing is a fun, reliable spot to grab a drink and enjoy a lively atmosphere. While the food can be inconsistent and leans toward average bar fare, the drinks, service, and overall experience make it worth coming back.

The restaurant itself has a real cool hip vibe, definitely up my alley. I ordered myself the beer cheese-steak (with fries) and a blue sapphire cocktail - these. were. AMAZING! They even have a "micro brewers menu" aka kids menu, my son chose the mini smashburgers with chips. He loved it so much, there was nothing left on his plate at the end. They have a bunch of board games available to use while dining so my son and I grabbed a Jurassic Park matching game, this was a super fun activity to do together while munching away. We had a wonderful time here and will surely be back soon. :)

I'll start with the positives, this location has so much potential! I love that there's a brewery…read moreright on Main Street. What a fantastic addition to the community. The decor and theme are inspired by New Orleans/Creole/Cajun vibes, and it's beautifully put together. The layout of the location is a slight "L" shape, so seating can be a bit limited during busy times. It's a seat-yourself setup, and they provide QR codes at the tables for you to place your order and pay when you're ready. Now, onto the food and service. Unfortunately, the wait for both food and drinks were longer than expected, even as the rush began to die down. Our pretzel appetizer didn't arrive until near the end of our meal, and sadly, it was overcooked. Drinks The beer was great and a definite highlight of the experience. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers Giant Pub Pretzel ($13.99): A 12.05 oz pretzel served with signature beer cheese and beer mustard. Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment. Despite being called "Giant," the pretzel was thin, and was a bit overcooked. While we enjoyed the beer cheese, the beer mustard could have stayed in the kitchen. Loaded Broccoli ($8.99): Steamed broccoli seasoned with Cajun spices, topped with melted cheese and your choice of chicken, beef, or pulled pork. I chose chicken, which was delicious and well-seasoned. However, the cheese was a huge letdown, it had an odd, roux-like texture and flavor that nearly made the dish inedible. Entrée Voo-Dill Pickle Pizza ($12.99): Made with roasted garlic pesto, fresh mozzarella, thick-cut pickles, and a special Voo-Dill seasoning. While the concept was intriguing, the execution fell short. The pizza crust was undercooked, and the pickles seemed like they were added at the very end instead of being baked with the pizza. The garlic pesto was the highlight of this dish. Desserts -King Cake Slice ($3.XX): Clearly store-bought and not made in-house. It also took a while to reach our table, which was odd considering it's pre-packaged. The kitchen area even had the King Cake box visible. Beignets ($7.99): Over-fried and served with icing that was overly lemony, which overpowered the dish. Side Order Jalapeño Slaw ($2.99): The star of the meal! It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar, with a fresh kick from the jalapeños and Cajun spices. I wish I had ordered more! I think this place has a lot of potential. The concept is fantastic, but the kitchen needs improvement. I do plan to return and give it another try because the space and the idea are great. Hopefully, next time the food lives up to the vision!

Can't really do to much about the ambiance except that you are in a mall that is not dying, so that is a plus. The service is pretty fast. And they answer your questions knowledgeably and fast. The lemonade I think does taste better than the competitions as well as their standard pretzel and the pretzel wrapped hot dogs. If I had to choose between the two Wetzel's would win hands down. So if you are slowly walking down the mall, faster than a cannon ball, then I would check them out!

You'd think that at 2 pm on a Saturday, they would still be serving soft, hot pretzels. Wrong…read more What's wrong? Let's see. There's no savory equivalent to sour cream n onion. Strike one. They coated the cinnamon sugar pretzel in cinnamon sugar, but it doesn't mask the fact that the pretzel was hard and dry. Strike two - although for a pretzel place that's egregious enough to merit a boycott. But there's more... the pepperoni pretzel or bits do not come with a pizza sauce. Which is fine, charge for dips/sauces because a lot of places are doing this now. However, as this is a popular food group for children, it would be good if the sauce wasn't so hot that it could almost burn my tongue. Strike three. That and one of my pepperoni bits was missing a pepperoni on it. It was just a nugget of bread. My fourth strike is that they don't have forks but that's also me being particular. But according to the rules of baseball, three strikes and they're out. Never again and at $22. Avoid this place at all costs and walk to the food court instead. Or the other end of the mall where the second Auntie Anne's is. You can thank me afterwards. Two stars because the guy there seemed nice. I couldn't tell since I wasn't the one ordering or paying but food still sucked.
