Service was typical of this area, (just enough to get by). But I have to say the food was probably the worst I have ever had at BJs. Ordered a glass of wine, it was so old that it came out with a head on it like beer. Ordered the sampler, cheese sticks and the wings were good, the artichoke dip was tasteless and the sliders with grilled onions came out like leftovers,with no grilled onions at all. My wife ordered clam chowder that tasted spoiled. I talked to the manager and went over the meal for training purposes. They took the wine of the bill because I didn't drink it. We were immediately seated unpon arriving. We got our drinks fast and order placed. I ordered the kids Mac and cheese with my fruit for my daughter. I ordered pork chop meal, I got chili for appetizer, roasted mashed and roasted vegetables. The roasted vegetables were mainly mushrooms and im allergic so I gave it to my mom. Overall food was 8/10. It has been many years since I was last at a BJ's. I believe I was on vacation in Temecula, California that summer in 2014 and fondly recall the delicious Pizookies and the Mediterranean Mini Pita Chicken Tacos. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by Quaylan who handed us menus and seated us at a booth. Aaron was our kind and attentive server who ensured we had everything we needed during our meal. On this night, I was dining with my Mom and childhood BFF for over 30 years - we go way back. Mom and I each ordered an unsweetened tea, and my friend just had water since her tooth was bothering her. I ordered the same thing I ordered that night in California in addition to a starter salad. The tomato, mozzarella, and arugula worked quite well together; it struck the perfect balance of flavor with the contrast of the balsamic vinegar. The Mediterranean Mini Pita Chicken Tacos were exactly as I remembered them. The texture of the vegetables and the softness of the pita bread was perfect. I plowed right through both dishes and decided to take a mini pizookie to go. My Mom also ordered a starter salad. My friend ordered the chicken and pasta and although she said she liked the chicken, she mentioned she wasn't too crazy about the pasta. Maybe she just ordered the wrong thing. Went here with the family for dinner. Overall we enjoyed our meals, the only downside was service was crazy slow for some reason. I don't think it was the waiters fault it seemed like he was running around stressed. However he was very apologetic and did his best as he could, we just had to keep waving him down constantly. The manager was of no help either which I found to be odd, as he came by and even said sorry things were slow but didn't really do anything to help the server or to step in and bring us what we need or take our order or anything. It's a great sized place to catch a game with lots of tvs in the bar area, or to come with your family, friends, etc for a bite to eat. We started with something a little different, by trying the avocado egg rolls. Being a big avocado fan, we were excited to see what they'd taste like. They looked good, but not going to lie....huge disappointment, they lacked flavor. Literally all you tasted was the avocado no flavors added in. Definitely could add some flavors to really make this better, it's missing something. That being said, we ordered the kickin chicken sandwich and the shrimp tacos. The sandwich was a good size, and had a big piece of chicken on it, but lacked the "kickin" flavor we were looking for, wanted something with a bit more spice to it, but nothing some additional sauce couldn't fix. The tacos had a good creamy sauce on them and were good as is. The real star of the show as expected though was the Pizookie!! If you've ever been to a BJ's you know what I'm talking about, and if you haven't, you're missing out! LoL They had multiple options but we went with a salted caramel one, with NO regrets! As always, the food had looked great and tasted quite good. Ashley, the waitperson that served us did an excellent job, was quite friendly and showed us that she cared about quality customer service and dealing well with people. I highly recommend her if anyone goes there and she's working. We enjoyed a great atmosphere where it was friendly and not so aggravating you didn't want to be there at all. The manager came by and we talked with her for about how well things go at the restaurant and that we have quality people working with us and we were glad to continue coming to BJ's when we can. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wishes to try it and I hope they enjoy it as much as we do when we come in. read more

Have not been in about a year and wanted to have an awesome Ribeye steak, they to me have the best...taste is wonderful. The manager Eric came by several times to check on us as well as the new waitress Dera. Good food and friendly staff, I like that. The food for us both came out in a timely fashion and all was brought to order. Tried the new Butterfinger Pazookie and it was very tasty. I came here for lunch on a weekday with my colleagues (about 12 of us). There weren't many people there for lunch, but from what I could tell we were the largest group there. They quickly found some tables for our group since we didn't have a reservation. We found out later on that it was our server's first day working there. He was very patient with our orders and was quick to put those orders in. He also explained the lunch specials and provided his own experiences of the food here. I ended up ordering an Enlightened Mediterranean Chicken Bowl and shared a Salted Caramel Pizookie with a colleague. The Bowl itself was small and a lunch size. I was a little hungry but the portions of the protein to carbs were appropriate. The Pizookie was very sweet and neither I nor my colleague were able to finish the dessert. read more

I have had several experiences in a row (over the past 6 months) that have proved that a one star was earned. The deep dish pizzas were so undercooked and doughy that I even put them in the oven to try to finish them off. Meh So because of that, the last time my husband asked for a thin crust and it was burnt to hell. The salmon has now been overcooked 3 times and I mean chewy and flavorless ( just a little salt and pepper would have helped). The more you overcook salmon the less flavor it has and the drier it becomes. If you don't know how to cook salmon just take it off your menu The rice in the bowl was crunchy and dry...maybe because the sauce that was supposed to be on the dish was not on the dish. I could continue to discuss how my husband gave up on pizza and ordered fish and chips this time and they were about a 1-2 Oz piece of fish pounded to a pancake.. super greasy and since it was a to go order we expected a little cold and soggy but more fish in between the breading would have helped with that, the flavor, and the experience. I guess I must confess I keep ordering because they have a good selection and well priced to go wine list. But not any more read more

Rather than trying to make it right, they were dismissive and unwilling to take responsibility. Everyone makes mistakes -- that's part of business -- but how you respond matters. I've been to this location three times since the beginning of September as I live nearby. The first time I came was on a Saturday night and the service was DREADFUL. I seriously thought I'd never come back, the service was so bad, but over a month later, I was in the mood for a pizookie (BJ's signature cookie skillet a la mode) and came in for happy hour on a Wednesday afternoon about 5pm. This time I sat at the bar instead of a table, which was a great idea as I received great and fast service. I've been back a second time for happy hour and I think that's going to be my prime time of choice for coming here in the future. Happy hour at BJ's lasts from 3pm to 7pm, while most other restaurants in the area only go until 6pm for happy hour. The happy hour menu features many appetizers for half-price and half-priced mini deep dish pizzas. Considering I always order the deep dish BJs Favorite from here (think Pizza Hut's supreme pizza) , this deal is my jam! The happy hour menu also has drink specials including $5 "Call Drinks". There are specific liquor brands included in this "Call Drink" list, and it's good stuff, not just standard house brand liquor (I feel like I sound like an alcoholic lol ugh). The Call Drinks are basically the same as well drinks everywhere else but with better liquor brands. Also, on Tuesdays pizookies are $3!!!! They're so rich and sweet, and the vanilla bean ice cream on top lays it out! They come in an assortment of flavors that will surely tickle your fancy. I've had the same bartender both times I've sat at the bar and he's very friendly and helpful. He always jokes with me because both times I've been there, he's been able to read my mind about something I needed without me asking him. He's on top of it! As a neighborhood family-friendly, but also decent priced restaurant with a large menu, BJ's is not a bad option and is worth a try, especially for happy hour! read more

On 5/18/2025 @630pm I had a very disappointing experience at BJ's Restaurant. My party and I waited for over 30 minutes without being acknowledged by a server. We were seating soon as we walked in due to it not being busy ..but We weren't offered, water or even basic eating utensils the entire time we sat there. After waiting patiently, we brought it to the staff's attention, but even then, there was no urgency or genuine effort to make things right. The manager's response was nonchalant and dismissive, which only added to our frustration. 5 mins after making staff aware we ended up leaving without ever receiving service. This level of disregard for customers is unacceptable, and I will think twice before returning or recommending this location to others. read more

The Kickin' Chicken Sandwich was fantastic and the chicken was juicy, tender, and good flavor. Fries were average at best though. $5 beers on Wednesday! The brownie pizookie was delicious and easy share for 2. Dessert is a must do here. We need to go here more often. read more

Great value! The $13 meal deal was quite good value for a sit down restaurant. Final price with tax and tip was about $16.50 and I was able to get chicken parm with a pizookie. This place is lovely. The happy hour is amazing here! I have always had pretty good experiences at this location. Recently, a friend and I went for the Thursday special. You can get a half rack of ribs or a tri-tip steak with 2 sides AND a pazookie for $15! Both are sooooo good! And don't forget $5 u call its all day on Thursdays as well. The last time we were there, service was slow and they cut off food orders early because some of the cooks walked out apparently. Our server was nice and accommodating. My family and I visited BJ's in Addison after a long day at the National Cheer competition, looking forward to a relaxing meal. Unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing. Our server, Jeffery, initially greeted us warmly, but things quickly went downhill. My husband, who is on a sober living journey, ordered a non-alcoholic beer, only for it to be alcoholic thankfully, I noticed in time. My daughter's spaghetti arrived without sauce, my chicken and mashed potatoes were cold, and I found a dirty napkin at my place. When I spoke to the manager, Eric, his response was dismissive, and he didn't seem to take the situation seriously. Despite my requests for clean silverware, hot food, and proper staff training, the issues were not fully addressed. Our bill was also incorrect three times, further adding to our frustration. This experience lacked empathy, professionalism, and care. I hope this feedback leads to improvements at this location, as no one should have to go through what we did. I asked for a follow up call, they didn't think it was needed to address the situation apparently! Never heard from anyone! Welp! read more

Tonight's dinner was one of the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant in Dallas. The waitress we had could not get the ordere straight. I ordered a prime rib my wife ordered a salad and then fish tacos and I specifically ask that our appetisers be served prior to our main course. To our Surprise the runner brought out to prime ribs, one with baked potatoes, one with French fries and my wife's fish tacos came before we ever received our soup and salads to make matters worse we opened our napkins with the utensils in it. The utensils had dirty food on them I asked to speak to the manager and she's blamed us for asking our food to be served in courses- oh it's because you had you asked for everything to be served in order, that's why everything came out wrong once. When we were presented our, bill, I said said this is not right, There's some kind of accommodation you should make so on a $70 bill Jo the duty supervisor, took all of $4 off the bill. This is one of our go to restaurants and I don't know if I'll ever come back into this one. I plan on speaking to the general manager tomorrow I spoke to the assistant manager Jo and I really don't think she knows how to treat customers. The restaurants seems like confusion things weren't clean. The heater wasn't on when we got in there, outdoor temperature dropped from 87 to mid 50's in the course of 3 hours, the restaurant was cold. I just know it was just a bad night but be warned before you come back into this restaurant. read more

He got here early to get us a table, and even though I arrived one hour and 15 minutes later due to a bus delay, they didn't mind at all. He ordered a cheese pizza and a diet Pepsi and I ordered a Great White Pizza, a calamari appetizer, and a diet Pepsi. Our meals were hot and delicious. 7/30/22: This was our first time here and we had a great time! We decided to sit in the bar area. Terre was our hostess and she was great the whole time we were there. Isaiah, was the bartender and he made some really good drinks. Terre was very friendly and was patient with our questions regarding food items and drinks. My fiancée had a Watermelon Mojito and I had a beer flight for starters. We then shared a loaded nachos with chicken, which was huge! We had a second round of drinks and I went with a draft "Light Switch", which was one of the beers in my flight. We had a great couples night and Terre and Isaiah made us feel comfortable and valued. We were pleasantly surprised that a military discount was offered. We met with Elvis, the manager, and expressed our appreciation for Terre and Isaiah. Not usually a fan of this chain but this is a fave for my wife and kids. According to my rewards program I had not been to a BJ's for more than 3.5 years. I wanted the white chocolate pizookie. That is one thing they have always done right. The menu does not highlight the mini but it is a perfect individual sized dessert. I know my weakness and that I would eat the entire thing if I ordered it. Struggled to find something that talked to me and went with the Santa Fe Salad. It was really good. Lots of flavor, avocado and presentation. I had it with the blackened shrimp. The shrimp portion was generous and yummy. My only critique is it was a $20 salad. My favorite pizzas are Margarita and Pepperoni, onions, and garlic. Tonight we had the 11in Pepperoni Extreme and we added roasted garlic and extra onions. Sooooo good!! Also, had the appetizer Fried Couscous Mac & Cheese that had a jalapeño cheese dipping sauce so good. I consider myself a pizza snob. My crust has to be a little crunch, not too crunchy, a yummy soft in the middle dough. I think they should make the dough buttery, roasted garlic, and finely chopped Basil, they can call it the brewhouse Dawn! But if it ain't broke......just make another one for Dawn!
