Even though it's a small operation, this pretzel shop truly brings joy to our community. They also offer delicious breakfast sandwiches, pretzel dogs, and various tea and coffee options. I was lucky to get all three of my pretzels from the oven. I especially like how the cinnamon sugar pretzel is topped with icing instead of dust--it's much easier to eat and still gives you that sweet, satisfying treat. The staff are quick and friendly. If they're baking a flavor, they'll let you know how long you'll need to wait for that fresh batch. There's plenty of seating, both inside and outside on picnic tables, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy.

Lots of patrons were picking up take-away and the in-person ordering line moved quickly. Definitely kid friendly with plenty in-door and out-door seating. We placed our order and waited to be called over the PA system. I'm not sure why they call you based on the items you ordered rather then the receipt number, but such is life. The breakfast pretzel was served room temperature, eggs were not to my liking, but good flavor from the bacon and cheese. The pretzel itself self was dry and kinda flavorless. The salted pretzel had a soft interior and crusty exterior with nice salt flakes but didn't live up to my expectations. The pub cheese was a welcome purchase to polish off the pretzel. The sweet pretzel was the best from our order. Pretzel was still dry but the cinnamon sweet topping made the top enjoyable.

Because we visit regularly, I wanted to share some constructive feedback about our recent experiences. While the food has often been very good, lately it seems that consistency has become an issue. During our most recent visit, I ordered the Chicken Alfredo. When it arrived, the sauce had an orange tint rather than the usual creamy Alfredo appearance. After taking a few bites, it tasted much more like macaroni and cheese than Alfredo. I mentioned this to our server, who was kind and professional, but he assured me that it was the Alfredo sauce and explained that the mac and cheese sauce is packaged separately. As someone who frequently orders both Alfredo and mac and cheese, I felt confident that what I received did not taste like a traditional Alfredo sauce. While this experience was disappointing, I want to emphasize that our server handled the situation courteously, and we still left a good tip because the service was not the issue. I am sharing this feedback because my family enjoys coming to BJ's and would like to see the food quality and consistency match the high standard of service that keeps us returning. I hope this feedback is helpful and that future visits will reflect the quality we have come to expect.

BLUF: it's what you'd expect from a chain restaurant with a large menu. Good but not great…read more Four of us went for dinner before a concert at Jiffy Lube. We ordered the steak dinner, avocado egg roll appetizer, and wings. The steak came out well done even though we'd asked for medium rare. The vegetables that came with it were overcooked and a bit too mushy. The flavor was okay. The avocado appetizer was a bit bland, but it was also very mushy. It needed something inside it texturally to add some element of chewiness to it. The dipping sauce that came with it did help with the flavor quite a bit. The wings were well cooked, not too crispy and not dried out. They actually must have come right out of the fryer because they were incredibly hot when I got them, and the waiter did warn me about that. I had them with the dry rub which was quite flavorful. The service was okay. I think we waited a bit too long for the appetizer to come out and to have water refilled. The server himself was friendly. I would recommend making a reservation if you're going on a weekend. I was very surprised how crowded it was and there was a line waiting to get a table the entire time we were there.

I was in the patio with friends, in the corner, not bothering anyone -- not fighting, not yelling, not approaching strangers. Security walked up, said there was "a complaint," refused to say who it was from, refused to say what it was about, refused to let me talk to the manager, and refused to even let me back inside to grab my own card. My friends asked him to stop. He ignored them. This is the second time their security has unfairly targeted me. The first time I had just stepped outside to take a phone call. The same guard ran after me and started accusing me of stealing -- but couldn't say what was supposedly stolen or who had complained, because nobody actually had. I told him my laptop and jacket were inside at the bar and that all the bartenders know me. He eventually apologized once it became obvious he had nothing. Same guy, same pattern, different night. Also worth knowing: my friend and I had just ordered around $100 in food and drinks at the end. Nothing finished. No refund offered, no apology, no manager. If management thinks letting one guard humiliate paying customers in front of their friends is good for business, here's your feedback. Plenty of better pubs in Arlington that actually respect the people

Very family friendly, plenty of place to run around and the food comes out quick (no specific kids menu but the grilled cheese was a huge hit). The Director of Operations, Kat, was lovely, came by our table to chat and shared a little more about the makers market they were hosting and some of the special events (Monday bingo night!!) they have going on. The food was not only quick but also delicious -- I will be dreaming about the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls tonight. My uncle was in the mood for a burger which wasn't on the brewery menu but they did have at a food truck outside!! Not a beer girl but I tried one and it was great (I think called the one sip wonder). TVs and lively atmosphere, could've spent the whole day here!!

I've been going to breweries in Northern Virginia for over 14 years now and have seen a ton come and go. From Ocelot, to Old Ox, from Adroit Theory to Aslin, Solace, Honor, Route 7, Wheatland Springs, Dominion, Caboose, Crooked Run, Bluemont, Dirt Farm and probably some more. Bottom line - Lark is your average family get together venue, it rivals with Vanish, Dirt Farm and Bear Chase. Tons of room for the fam to run around and play, however - very limited parking space for the amount of seating areas. The service was okay, as someone who has served Beer and Wine for almost 3 years, I totally understand. However the staff was pretty hard to work with. They would stand behind the counter, they don't make eye contact and they don't ask who's next or really know how to engage the customer. They don't seem to be interested in their own beer. At one point there were 7 employees behind the counter while there were 3 -5 people in line. They should have teamed up and taken care of all 3 - 5 people at once. Pro tip: one person can serve multiple people, you don't need 7 people behind the bar. Get them working, you have waaaaay too many employees and barely any of them know what IBU means. For the beer, if you're a person who uses Untappd, I gave the brewery a 3/5. The beers were okay and probably need a lot more time for research. Why is a pilsner extra hoppy? But if you're really looking for a great venue with amazing service and amazing beer? Annnnnd family time? Hit up Wheatland Springs and you will not be disappointed Save yourself some time and money and just go to Ocelot for good beer and for beer and the family go to Wheatland Springs Lark is fairly new to the game but they're pulling the venue vibe card. Service 2/5 Beer 3/5 Venue 4/5 (Live music outside would take it further)
