8/2/2023 Been a customer for over 20 years! Placed an order at 5:51pm I wanted pepperoni nuggets & the cashier stated that it would be a 15-20 min wait. I told her that was fine. At 6:25pm i still haven't received my order & ask her how much longer? She tells me "Sorry for the wait, "He forgot"! Referring to the other employee there. ‍ I didn't mind waiting 15-20 minutes but 35 minutes, When there is no one else there!! No one in line, no one waiting! Is simply ridiculous. I ordered a regular pretzel with salt at this Auntie Anne's and the cashier said they would have to make one and it would take about 10 minutes. I gave her my name and I waited about 10 minutes before asking how much longer it would be before my pretzel was ready. She asked the lady who was making the pretzels and she didn't even put it in the oven! I told the cashier I wanted my money back. Spent some time here today checking out all of the pretzel related goodies. My son works at an Auntie Anns up in Alaska. He suggested I try the pepperoni pretzel. I did and was very impressed. It was our (MY) first time at an Auntie Anne's and was I impressed two or three Saturday nights ago!!! It had been awhile since my partner had been to one and the menu had changed slightly, he shared, while we salivated at the counter... inhaling the fresh baked goodness of pretzels being made on the spot. We ordered 6 different items: regular, nut & honey (cannot recall the exact name), garlic & cheese, regular nuggets, sausage nuggets, cinnamon & sugar nuggets, and a cherry-lemonade freeze-- we stopped just shy of a cup of pepperoni nuggets -- which was being cooled off right in front of our senses!!! It was 8:30... near closing time, and we had caused a line of 8-10 people behind us... sorry for our indecisiveness! That's why we bought almost everything you had left... well, except for whatever was in the oven! YUMM-O... Dallas was a gem... as a matter of fact, it seemed like the dynamic duo was there that night. Dallas shared with us that she's a favorite (supervisor/manager/teammate of his--blond, cute as a button, yet like a ninja in the kitchen). Although there was a line and we could feel the pressure of other customers breathing down our necks, he diplomatically let those behind us know that "I promise we will be right with you..." He was incredibly poised for customer service--mannerly, thoughtful, and considerate! We will be back just for the service we received. Let's talk about the pretzels. Perfect balance of doughy and crisp... with not-too-little or much amounts of salt, butter, and cheese (parmigiana ?) + AWESOME SAUSAGE... for the SAVORY pretzels! For the SWEETER pretzels, it was just the right amount of sweetness without feeling like "I'm off my diet"... oh and the cinnamon nuggets were "no one can eat just one" good. The nutty-sweet one was delightful warmed in my toaster a week later (as well as a few of the garlic ones a few days before) at home. I watched them in the toaster as to make sure they didn't burn. Depending on your toaster, it may be better to warm in your oven. Once saw a girl use her hands in the cinnamon sugar pretzel nuggets. She had tongs but apparently they didn't work well. A nugget fell on the table and she still packed it into the cup. AND she also wiped off the cinnamon sugar on her hands into the bowl. INTO THE BOWL! Disgusting. Everyone in line saw and commented on it. But hey. We all still waited and got pretzels in the end. Incredibly busy on a Sunday - over 15 minute wait. This is supposed to be a snack location so you'd think they would be able to serve people quickly. Not the case. I've been here on a weekday too and they are pretty slow. Nancy was so rude to her coworkers! It was very unprofessional of her. My girlfriend and I witnessed her yell. When I say yell, I mean raised voice, extended arms, red faced YELL, at the other girls working there. I wanted to say something to her, because her attitude towards her coworkers was horrible. I was able to see Nancy's name, but wasn't able to determine her rank at this location, and didn't want Nancy to retaliate against the other workers when we left. If Angel hadn't been the one to take our order I would've asked for a refund and left. I don't mean to be "that Yelp reviewer", but someone should do something about that work environment, because that's not healthy or acceptable. Oh, and the pretzels were fresh and amazing as always. Every so often when I do visit Arden to browse/shop, I usually stop here to grab their mini pretzel dogs for the daughter & sour garlic pretzel w/ two side of nacho cheese. Ohh and two water cups. Today when we stop by, we were greeted by a cashier. She seem a lil tired and bothered. (She was there by herself.) She took our order and said thank you and gave us our order. We sat down and open the nacho sauce and it was very watery. We had to go back and exchange for another one. She apologized & explain that it wasnt properly mixed. I love Auntie Anne's! The toasted almond pretzel is my favorite. The toasted almond pretzel isn't too sweet nor is it bland. It has the right amount of sweetness. As for the sour cream and onion, the flavoring is decent. I don't like how the flavoring is just simply powdered sour cream and onion thrown on top but if you're hungry then it'll taste 100089x better lol. My sister and I got another pretzel so we can get the buy three get one free deal. We ended up getting the small pretzel bites with cheese and it was disappointing. The cheese was thick and still "solid." I would've preferred melted cheese. Food-wise--I would say this place is a decent/okay place to grab a snack at the mall. Ok I have to say this is the first time I have tried a pretzel here but I had a coupon for buy one get one free and thought I would try them out. I love traditional pretzels with the crisp outside and airy inside slightly chewy and just buttery and salty. Well that isn't what I got here. My pretzel was rather tough and chewy and didn't seem fresh at all. I was really bummed out I thought I would be getting something wonderful since it is an actual pretzel place. I mean the ones they have at Sams are way better than this! How is that possible? Well you live and you learn, and these things aren't cheap either about $3.50 each at Sams club they have them for $1 and they come right out of the pizza oven hot and fresh! Not sure if I just got a pretzel that had been sitting out under the lights too long or if thats the usual texture but I did not like it at all, the flavor was just OK the texture was entirely too tough and it didn't have an outer shell at all. In my opinion they are over priced and not worth it at all. I've had better pretzels that you buy in the freezer section and make at home. Anthony was the young gentleman working the counter and as busy, hectic as it was he was really nice and patient the whole time. Well, how does one review a mall pretzel? I guess in comparison to it's sole competitor, Pretzel Time. In my humble opinion, Auntie Anne's beats the pants off Pretzel Time. How do I know? I ate a pretzel from each the other day within the span of like twenty minutes. How's that for critical authority, huh? They actually roll out the pretzels in front of you at Aunti Anne's, for one. I don't know where the pretzels come from at Pretzel Time (What exactly is Pretzel Time? Is this something like Hammer Time?) And Auntie Anne's taste like butter. I'm not sure if a pretzel is supposed to taste like a croissant, but this one does. So take it from me, mall pretzel afficionados. Skip the rightly banished to an inlet on the first floor Pretzel Time and head up to the next level at Auntie Anne's. Make sure to avoid the Cinnabon on the way. read more

Used to work here about 2 years ago. Even though I don't work there anymore I just love the pretzels still. Love the new crew, love the management and Margaret still makes my pretzel dog the best after all this time. Also love their new upgrade to the store looks amazing.
