I started working in the Fort Lee area about 3 months ago and I come to this restaurant once a week for the best Thai food in town. First of all, their service is extremely nice as every worker is such a sweetheart. Their lunch specials are great! A very cozy place with room for only a few tables, small in size but huge in taste! I first ordered from them 4 yrs ago and I still remember sitting down to eat on the floor of my old apartment and my happy surprise how delicious their green curry and curry puffs were (and still are). Since then I've had a lot more of the menu...tonight I had their Thai BBQ pork and chicken wonton soup for the first time and unsurprisingly, it was equally tasty. The sauce was sweet and tangy with a nice heat; the broth was clean and simple and perfect for my cold. Ive verbally recommend them often in the past--now it's digital. For the past few years, my Thai friend and I have been coming here for better Thai food compared to other choices in the area. While it wasn't the best (best - meaning SriPraPhai level), it was pretty decent, good price and it was actually ran by Thai people. Now I wish I took the time to leave them a positive review back then.. We went back there after a few months and were extremely disappointed.. The waitress was different than before, but she was very friendly and also spoke Thai. We ordered our usual pad kra tiem, pad kraprow, fried chive pancakes and something new "Lao crepe". While we waited for our food, which was taking longer than usual, we could hear people arguing in the kitchen. I overheard someone say "you think I can't cook!?". Hmm.. new chef maybe?? Lao crepe and chive pancakes were served first and they were both very good. Then our entree came out .. Pad kra tiem was EXTREMELY salty, had zero sweetness to it, had huge chunks of mushrooms and the only garlic flavor was from fried garlic sprinkled on top. We ended up eating only the vegetables and left all the meat because it was simply inedible. Pad krapow, had about level 0.25 spiciness (we asked for Thai spicy), no sight of thai chili, but instead had dried pepper flakes sprinkled on top, zero sweetness and again had huge chunks of mushrooms (never had this dish with mushrooms any where ever..). Even rice was dry and had zero flavor.. Was it even jasmine rice?? We didn't complain and left a generous 20% plus tip, but unfortunately we are so disappointed that we won't be returning.. Btw, if you pay cash they're supposed to take off 5%, but the waitress didn't mention anything after we paid cash. Yes, 5% is nothing, but still.. Placed a large order for my job, and I was sorely disappointed by what I received. First, they missed one of the soup orders. Fine. It was a large order for 5 people so it's easy to miss something and they delivered it promptly after 2 calls. Second, the pho noodles were congealed into an inedible brick. The broth was oily tasting. The beef was delivered in the broth, so it was overcooked by them time it arrived, and it was thick cut beef the kind you would expect from a beef stir-fry dish.) I have ordered pho for delivery from other places, but it's never been this bad. Be aware this restaurant for delivery. Placed order 1:00pm didn't receive food till 2:30 talked with Yelp support that told me food was on the way, waited them again till 3:00pm, still didn't get anything, eventually Yelp called the restaurant to cancel the order and the response of the restaurant was like they'd been waiting until the customer cancel their food. Went here for dinner on a cold night. It's a small ll little place in fort lee on Main Street. We sat down and were greeted right away. We ordered chicken wings and steamed spring rolls to begin. The chicken was crispy and a little greasier than expected but good overall. The spring rolls tasted fresh. For an entree I ordered the chicken pad Thai and my hubs ordered the pork stir fry with steamed vegetables and ginger sauce. I was excited to try the pad Thai however I was disappointed. The taste was bitter. Luckily I have an understanding boyfriend and he swapped plates with me. His stir fry was tasty. I felt bad because he ate my bitter plate but he said it wasn't terrible. So I guess it depends on your taste buds but I was not a fan. I give 4 stars for service, effort and because the stir fry and appetizers were good. Mediocre Thai.. I used to live in LA so there was very good Thai food available everywhere there, however on the east coast this is not the case and it seems one must venture into Manhattan for good Thai food. The sticky rice is ridiculously hard and yellow and when I called them to complaint, the lady told me this is how it supposed to be. I am also Asian and I know how sticky rice should be. Ahh, Aura, the best Thai place in town! Although not quite as amazing as their predecessor, Little Charm, this place has decent food and an expansive menu with good prices. I usually order the Tom Kha or Tom Yum soup with tofu, and throw in a side of jasmine rice in to make a hearty meal out of $6. Their soups are good, but a little on the sweet side for my taste, so I add a little soy sauce to balance it out. (Hello, high blood pressure!) The best thing I've had there yet is the mango salad, it's the kind of dish that made me fall in love with Thai cuisine. Who knew that mango, fresh garlic, cashews and red onion could go so well together? Nom! As others have stated, this place is TINY, so claustrophobics beware - you may want to order your food to go. Food is decent for the area, but don't order delivery from this spot. We've had two bad experiences in two months ordering from here. The first time, our food never came after a few calls to the restaurant. The restaurant apparently lost track of their driver and no one could get in touch with her. Four hours later, a delivery driver calls to say our food is here. We grabbed dinner elsewhere, informed her, and she rudely hung up. Not trying to have dinner on a Tuesday at 11 pm when you order at 6:30. Second time (today), food again comes 2.5 hours after ordering with no heads up. Ridiculous. I visited here a second time. Green curry was light and delicious. My son also liked the food. But today, I ordered and picked up, but suddenly there was no material, so the male staff told me without a note. I wasted a lot of time and feeling bad, but the owner apologized to me and delivered free food. I was really thankful and the food was delicious too. A hit and miss kinda spot in terms of food. This was the only place around I could find that seemed to have pumpkin curry on the menu, so I figured we'd give them a try. Delivery came within a decent time. We ordered: - Tom Yum with Shrimp (ok) - Curry Puffs (excellent) - Steak Salad (excellent) - Pumpkin Curry with Chicken (terrible) - Mango Sticky Rice (ok) As great as the curry puffs and the salad were, on par with NYC restaurants, to my surprise the pumpkin curry was absolutely terrible. Huge pieces of over frozen chicken, in a watered down, not at all thick or flavorful curry, with hardly any herbs or veggies. Just curry soup with dry tasteless chicken. Very disappointing. Ordered here last night to try it out. Grub Hub night. Rated 4 stars for some reason.... So lets begin, My husband got the PHO soup. With Side of Dumping & I the Tamarind Deck. Well lets just say things started off fine we got the food on time. But when opening our back, my husbands pho soup was an assembly project. The soup came in a big container with a Hunk of chicken at the bottom. the raw vegetables were in a separate container, and the noodles as well were in a separate container. So he had to take the chicken out and break it apart, and then start assembling his own soup. NFS what so ever, when you order it from a restaurant they are supposed to Assemble everything together. Then with the Tamarind duck (which left me sick tonight and today). Food poisoning. The "duck" (I don't think it was duck at all) was sitting on top of cold raw vegetables, no Jasmine rice was included for some reason. After tasting it, rubbery and kind of slimy. Never have I tasted a duck like this, and I cooked a Duck on New Years 10x better than this. I couldn't stomach more than a few bites of my meal. Even with the Tamarind Sauce. I was so happy when I saw there was a new Thai Restaurant in the neighborhood. So we ordered dinner and picked it up. I ordered the duck spring rolls as appetizer and it had no duck in it. The Thai fried rice was as bland and unappetizing. We also had the drunken noodles with chicken which were seriously not great. Maybe this is because the place is new? Slow service and low quality food. We ordered a pineapple fried rice and pad see ew. It took 45 minutes from the time we ordered to go until the food was ready. That is unacceptable time considering if I were at a sit down restaurant we would already be eating by then. The pad see ew tasted like sugar and soy sauce and the three pieces of gailan were not fully cooked so they were bitter. The pineapple fried rice was plain, not worth the $12. I wouldn't have given a review until I ate the fried rice and discovered a raw piece of pork! It was still pink and mixed in with the food. The only positives were that the food was hot and the portions large; but unfortunately we threw it all away and I would advise you to stay away. read more

This place tastes really good, but the price is a bit more on the expensive side. Some of the food is identical to the Thai cuisine you can find in Thailand. Though there is limited space for eating in, so I would not reccomend for large groups. Also the food may take a while to come out, so you may have to wait a bit, but if you have lots of time on your hands, craving some thai cuisine, and are ready to use some cash, then I would reccomend. read more

What an absolute disgusting, cheap, lying group of people. I placed an order with this restaurant on seamless. And after 1.5 hours, I still had not received anything. I got an e-mail from Seamless to contact the restaurant so when I called them, the lady told me that my order was on its way. Almost another hour later, I still didn't receive anything. So this time I contacted Seamless, and they tell me that the owner is refusing to refund my money because she had tried to deliver the food and I wasn't home. I had been home for the past 2.5 hours waiting for something to be delivered. So basically, she lied about it so that she could keep her measly $40 instead of refunding a client she never provided services to. So now, not only do I not have any food after three hours, but am out $40 as well. Thankfully Seamless was kind enough to refund my owner, but the greedy piggy of an owner gets to steal $40 from a consumer. Stay away from these despicable people, absolutely low-class trash. I have never ordered a fried fish and it came drenched in sauce and vegetables, never mind it was also spilling out the package. Not enough room in the box and the fish was not crispy. We called back and an employee offered no apologies or substitutes and assured us the owner would call us back. We have waited 28 hours with no contact AFTER spending over 50$ with generous tip. Worst Thai food ever. I got drunken noodle and it was saucy/watery with absolutely 0 flavor. It was like Chinese food except worse. Then they forgot my order and gave me the wrong stuff for delivery. This place is like those cute small gems you find in New York. It's small and nicely decorated , the staff is friendly and gives you much attention. It's a small spot which makes it ideal for dates, my experience dining inside was great got tofu green curry it was great! The delivery takes about 45 to 55 minutes , delivery girl is very nice. This used to be Little Charm and reopened as Aura in late March. I was never much of a fan of Little Charm, but went there somewhat frequently because it's the most convenient Thai place around. I AM SO HAPPY THE CHANGE TO AURA HAPPENED. When it was Little Charm, the food was very greasy and tasted different every time I ordered. However, since they changed over to being "Aura Thai," the food has been SO much better. Much more authentic, less greasy, consistent. Ordered delivery from here on the first night in New York trip. I enjoyed everything I had but the chicken wonton soup. The duck spring roll was good, the gyoza was really good and the fried chicken wanton was amazing and my mom enjoyed her tofu fried rice we were both pleased. My favorite Thai take out restaurant by far. Great food, good prices, fast delivery, so what more could I ask for. The noodles are so good, cooked just right every time and really delicious. The flavors are present, nothing is too overwhelming, and the portions are appropriate for lunch and dinner. I recommend the pad thai, any of the fried rice, and any of the rolls. I will continue to order from here whenever I'm craving some Thai food. read more
