How in the hell do you ask for a drink and the bartender claims that she's to busy to make a drink. Then I ask for grey goose and they claim they don't have anymore because it's busy. Not a excuse when I'm paying 15 dollars a drink. How do you tell a paying customer I can't make a drink is beyond me. This is honestly the worst service I have ever received in my life. This place is trash and not worth paying money to go to. Weak bartenders who don't want to do their jobs. Overall this is horrible customer service...... This was my first time ever going to a club in Reno. It wasn't that bad. The bar got super busy that it took forever to get our drinks. We tried to go outside, still no luck so we came back inside. You have to be in a certain mood to come to Aura. The DJ can be super hit or miss, the bartenders can be on top of it or take forever, so come ready for whatever. We came here on New Years because it was close to the arch and even though I hate when bars/clubs that don't normally charge a cover, charge a cover on special events, it was worth it. The $20 cover charge kept the crowd a manageable size and allowed for you to enter and exit without much of an issue or wait. What I like about this place is it can feel very clubby but you don't have to dress up unless you want to. It's great because if you're not feeling it, you're so close to a number of other bars. I was actually expecting a whole lot lore from this lounge and was really disappointed. I will say that I am not sure if the clubs' atmosphere is always like this but for a Saturday it was quite disappointing. I will start off by stating the good things about this lounge, it is in the lower level of Silver Legacy, right in front of the casinos, which makes it very convenient. There is security outside the door, checking IDs, women get in for free and men pay $5. Inside the club, there is a medium sized dance floor and a decent size bar, there is a spot for the DJ, seating all around the club & mini high stages for the pretty girl dancers that are often stared at while they are doing their job. For a Saturday night, the place was not full, so it was slightly disappointing. It was quick to get out drinks because of the lack of people. The music was meh, I have definitely heard better and people could agree with the same. This place has a lot of potential which they should live up to. read more

That's bad. I had to entertain myself, and everyone else. I had to go around and make people dance, and talk to them. That's what I do. But never in my life have I been around so many boring people in a lounge like that. My main problem with this place is the size. Aura was the grand finale stop to the 2017 Mystery Bus Tour. Lou and the rest of the Aura team were so much fun and so super supportive of our event! All of the staff even wore all of their Nevada gear to support! Go Wolf Pack! The music was great and we all danced the night away! Each song the DJ played got us even more pumped up than the one before it. The bartenders were fast and fun. I reserved bottle service 2 months prior to my boyfriends birthday. It wasn't going to be cheap- told $387 total, including gratuities, and we would get the center booth... I called the manager - Lou - a week prior, to offer to prepay so that our booth wouldn't be given away because we wouldn't be there until 10ish, and was assured everything would be fine. It wasn't We arrived shortly after 10pm and waited around for probably 20-30 minutes before the door guys could find Lou (apparently the only one able to verify and accept payment for bottle service). Once Lou got there, we were taken back to... an area way off to the side, away from the dance floor, where the people to the right of us had to walk through our area to go anywhere. Ok. Whatever. No big deal. Then the waitress comes with the credit card receipt for $40 more than what our cost was supposed to be. Fine. As long as that $40 went straight to our waitress... but it wasn't, so we had to text Lou to get him to make sure she would get it. Then the club got busy. Instead of giving VIP/bottle service guests wristbands and not counting them on the door guys "in/out" capacity clicker, we were left waiting back in line for 45 minutes any time we had to go out of the club to use the restroom. Even after explaining to the door guys that we paid a base rate of $420 to be there, we were still told we had to wait in line. UNACCEPTABLE. We ended up taking our party elsewhere. Came here last night for a girls night out with my roommates and my roommate's older coworker (my friends and I are around 25 yrs old, her coworker and coworker's friend are ~50 yrs old. The night was lit). The lounge is inside Silver Legacy, so if you can park in the parking structure and walk up to the 3rd floor, that's where the walkway into the casino and Aura is! Find the place near all the dealers tables are and the lounge is off to the side. We came here around 10pm and stayed until a little past midnight (we've become grandmas, some of us had work the next day, applause to the older crowd that stayed hours after we left). There wasn't a cover tonight and the line wasn't very long around 10. Got a moscow mule at the bar which didn't taste half bad, and the bartending service was not bad (granted it's still pretty early so it wasn't crowded and there wasn't a wait). Layout of the place: the dance floor is in the middle (there's also a smoke machine that occasionally bellows out a smoke cloud every 5-10 mins), and then there's booths/couch seating around the edges. If you come early, it does kind of feel weird to be on the dance floor (especially if it's empty) while the rest of the people sitting around the edges just watch you (but hey if you're drunk, it doesn't really matter). I want to say that me and my roommates were easily the youngest people in this club. I think the average age of the clientele last night was around 30-40 years old. WHICH ISN'T A BAD THING - it was actually super fun. Super ethnically diverse clientele, and I appreciated that the DJ could recognize who and what age group was out that night because he mostly played hip-hop/rap from the 90s/early 2000s (aka my favorite era of hip hop, I don't think there was one song played that night that disappointed me - classic 50 Cent, Usher, Montell Jordan, etc.) The dance floor stays pretty empty until about 11pm (but literally if you're out with your girls, you know that your squad holds up the dance floor and gets people off their booties!) Around 11pm-midnight there's a big enough crowd on the dance floor but still space to move around and not be sweating on other people (aka the perfect critical mass for a dance floor) - it isn't a huge dance floor, but it's the right size for the number of people that walk through the doors. The vibes are pretty chill, even though based on other reviews I've read it seems like people have issues with security or don't like the service. I didn't receive any bad service that night but maybe this place really just depends on the night? It wasn't trashy nor was it too upscale, and although they say that dressy attire is required, they definitely let people in wearing jeans/ chucks/t-shirts (I would say that if you're a girl, going in with a sundress type/casual dress and booties shoots straight in the middle - Reno isn't a super formal city to begin with anyway). I know in other reviews it says they have a cover but maybe that depends on the night too. I honestly think that with clubs and lounges like these, your star-quality night depends on who you're with and how down you are to have fun. Worthy stop if you're checking out Reno! read more

Tiny lounge. All hyped up. This was one of those walk in and WALK IT OUT! You'll be curious by all the marketing banners and displays around Reno to go check out Aura. I was enticed to visit Aura because of all the sexy posters advertised it like it was the Maxim Club of Reno. In reality it's a revamped cocktail lounge alongside the Silver Legacy casino. Large silky curtains separate the two venues. The dance floor was about 64 square feet. Couches were small, but I'll give an extra star for the interior sophistication and exquisite nature of this lounge. I can dig that. Admission: There might be a cost, but on this night it wasn't jumping. The bouncer allowed us to check it out and didn't stop us to stay. Deserves a Revisit: I'll give it another try. Its free to get in, do i really need to say anything else? This is a really small night club, but it gets poppin, the atmosphere is nice and as i said before, it is free. The bar is great, best cocktails in the SIlver Legacy by far. I suggest instead of buying a $10 drink inside the club, that you walk out of the club, sit at a video machine on the casino side of the bar, insert your $10 and get a comped drink, then cash out, or win some money and then go back into the club with your drink, it works flawlessly. I'm glad to see that Reno is finally getting some upscale spots- that dingy 1970's western feel is getting pretty tired. Aura is the Silver Legacy's newest addition- not a club, but a smaller "ultra lounge". Its decorated pretty nicely, with a blue theme and lots of pretty lights. They also offer bottle service, another new addition to Reno. I'd be interested to see how this place is on a weekend. Its nice to see a new upscale spot in this city filled with dirty, tired old bars that cater to 50+ gamblers. read more

Bellied up to the outside small counter bar area on a Saturday afternoon for a quick drink and break from casino mayhem (although admittedly I couldn't help shoving a couple bucks into the little slot machine in front of me at my barstool - damn you Reno!). Our bartender was a cute and friendly young guy who served us up quickly, along with a tip that putting $10 into the mini slot machine scores you your drink for free. My Midori Sour was tasty! This is a prettty cool & chill lounge inside the Silver Legacy Hotel! Reno isn't really known to have a crackin' night life but Aura definitely has potential especially on Sat. nights! We were staying in Silver Legacy for the weekend and saw this lounge near the tables! Friday night they were playing really good music (you can hear them blasting top 40 & 90's hip hop from the pai-gow tables)! We weren't in clubbing attire so we peeked inside and the place was pretty dead for a Friday night! Since we were staying in Silver Legacy, we decided to check this place out on Saturday night and it's supposedly their "GO-GO night"! Because it was more packed than the previous night we decided to come here! The music was on point on Saturday! Same top 40 hits with some mash-ups! The crowd is little bit older than what I'm used to, but it was pretty diverse and chill! The security guys and the bartenders were also nice! And if you're a girl take advantage of their 2 for 1 drink coupons! You'll probably need it because their drinks are water downed. But I think it just really depends on which bartender helps you. It was great to experience an exquisite nightclub inside Reno casinos, where everything was connected like El Dorado, Silver Legacy, Circus Circus. Loved the 2 for 1 happy hour drinks. Although the only waitress on-duty was quite slow...it was quicker to get your drinks at the bar, then sit back & relax. DJ was awesome spinning great tunes. I didn't enjoy the smokers, but it's the Silver State, not the Golden State. Bouncers/bartenders were extremely friendly, courteous, & welcoming. It's right off of the casino floor, I'm not sure if it's considered the El Derado or Silver Legacy, but anyhow, that's where it's located. So I went there last night and it looked really upscale. The lounge itself is not to big. There's plenty of seating around the lounge including a VIP area where I sat. Some guy said if you order drinks from the VIP lounge and act all drunk the waitress will put it on some person's tab from that area. Sounds shady... He made small conversations which distracted us from counting the people inside. The set up was interesting. You could actually see everything before you walked inside the rope. Change of Pace spot for Reno but if you are looking for a cool place to hang out all night, this is probably not it. It's a place to check out, grab a drink and listen to some beats. We went here thinking there would be house music since it seemed like that is what they were advertising in some places but there was absolutely none of that. Mainly some R&B, some Hip Hop, Old and New School. We actually came here on a Friday night and the Drinks were 2 for 1 which was a bonus. What actually was not good though was that we could not figure that out until after we heard some other people ordering drinks and then we heard the bartender saying something. Put it this way, we ordered two bears and it costed $6.50 for the two beers. Does that mean that one Draft Beer is usually $6.50??? UltraLounge I guess always mean EXPENSIVE Lounge. Really a 2-star club but because of the lack of options to party at within the Eldo, SL, and CC, and because they play Hip-Hop I gave it 3. Come with your own ppl or don't come at all. The crowd here is a bit trashy/too old to be clubbing. If you go with a good group and prefer Hip-Hop over ONSK ONSK youll have a good time. This place is TINY and they dim the lights enough that you wouldn't even notice that youre in a really shi**y club. Bottle service is CHEAP. Great bartenders and a great Dj, Teddy P is one of the dopest dj's I've seen at this spot in a while. The ambience is very Vegas like in essance and they have flair bartenders. Drinks are moderate nothing special. And a lot of working girls hang there....but if you look past that and the cover charge, it's a pretty decent spot. read more
