The Wedge salad was also very nicely prepared and very flavorful. The dinner rolls were also excellent. Many places forget this entirely these days. We ordered our entrees next. My wife ordered the filet medium rare, and I ordered the 2-pound baked stuffed lobster. We ordered a very nice half-bottle of Cabernet as well. The entrees were served, and my wife cut into the steak. It was way overcooked. The middle was medium well, and the ends were well done. We sent it back. These things happen, and we took it in stride. The problem that developed was time. After 10 minutes, we were told by our server that the new steak would be right out. Well, 5 minutes later, we heard the same thing from Matthew (the manager?). My entrée was getting cold, and I was getting a bit aggravated. I went to the bathroom. When I got back to the table, my wife had her new filet. She said that Matthew apologized profusely and told her that both entrees would be taken off the bill. Her steak was perfectly prepared, and although my entree was a little cold, it was still excellent. I told Matthew that there was no need to remove my entree, but he insisted. As I said, these things happen. When they do, how the restaurant handles it determines how the customer's experience ends. Matthew went out of his way to make up for this mistake.
