    Girl brunch
    Enxhi B.

Stopped here for lunch while in Newport for the day. The outdoor seating is really nice and enjoyable in the summer. The staff and service was great, very attentive and friendly. I got the girl brunch meal which entailed a salad and truffle fries with a classic martini. The martini was too strong for me so I mixed it with sprite haha. Had a really lovely time though.

Gluten free meatballs, gluten free arancini, girl dinner with a vodka martini with a twist and crushed velvet martini.

Stoneacre Brasserie is the perfect place to meet a friend on a cold, wintry night in Newport. Cozy, welcoming, and the kind of spot where you sit down, relax, and instantly know you picked the right place. From girl dinner to dessert, we left full and happy. The idea of a girl dinner with truffle fries, a Caesar salad, and a martini with a twist is pure genius. Simple, elevated, and exactly what you want after a long day. The gluten-free options are outstanding. Truly one of the best parts (in my opinion). As someone who has lived in Newport County my entire life and has a long list of favorite spots, Stoneacre Brasserie has officially earned a place on it. So many delicious options that don't feel like substitutions. The meatballs were flavorful and comforting, paired with an incredible red sauce, and the arancini was absolutely delicious. And don't skip dessert! Be sure to ask about the secret menu. The affogato with chocolate hazelnut is a must and the perfect way to end the night (alongside an espresso martini)! Warm atmosphere, amazing food, and thoughtful gluten-free options - this is a new favorite and a spot I'll happily return to again and again.

We had an amazing time here & really enjoyed the food, drinks, service & atmosphere. The hummus, whipped feta, Croque madame, biscuit Benedict & Dante's inferno cocktail were all excellent. Our server, Emma, was very friendly, helpful with suggestions & attentive. The atmosphere is beautiful, festive, modern and the staff is exceptional.

The food was amazing, the server was awesome and paid attention to detail. The Calamari was melt in your mouth delicious and a perfect crisps. Lastly the burger was delicious with the pretzel bun. They offered this complementary chocolate Madeline's and they were perfect. Decor was very elegant with a twist of old fashioned decor and paintings. I would love to comeback and try the advertised tea menu. Owner is also very bubbly and nice.

Nice decor. I liked the crab cakes and my wife and I also shared whipped ricotta. Pretty much everything on the menu looks delicious so you won't go wrong here. Some of the dishes are pricey for what they are though. Service was fine.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner here. We made a reservation for 6:00 on a Friday. The ambience was very classy and they decorated for the holidays. The service was exceptional. They constantly checked in on us and kept our drinks full. My husband got the steak frites and I got the beet and goat cheese salad. We also ordered the tuna flash from the specials. Everything was excellent and fresh. This was one of the best restaurants we went to in Newport and we would gladly come back again.

What an absolutely beautiful restaurant, with such amazing food! I arrived with my brother around 2 PM, after touring the cottages nearby. I was recommended Stoneacre Brasserie by a friend who is working in the area. The inside is elegantly decorated and very warm feeling, with a large bar in the center. Our server was very attentive and came by often to check in, and refill our drinks. We both ordered a French onion soup to start, and honestly, this was one of the bench French onion soups that I have had. It is hard to find a good one, but this place did it right. For my main course, I had the brisket poutine, which was a huge plate and definitely could have been shared between two people. I would definitely recommend Stoneacre Brasserie to anyone visiting Newport!

Cannot say enough about this place... food, cocktails, ambience and staff!! 5 star for sure!!!

I don't think dog-friendly and when I was there there wasn't outdoor seating but I would call and check.

We lucked into a last-minute Saturday reservation for four in the upstairs deck room, and the atmosphere was moody, romantic, and perfect for a nice night out. The menu is à la carte, so you'll order your steak and sides separately. We shared the tomahawk steak with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and the mac & cheese, plus espresso martinis to start. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the portion sizes were much larger than we expected--we definitely could have ordered less and still left completely satisfied. What really stood out, though, was the service. Everyone we interacted with was warm, authentic, and genuinely helpful, making the whole experience feel welcoming without being over-the-top. Between the incredible food, beautiful waterfront views, and fantastic service, this is a must-visit steakhouse in Newport. We'd happily come back the next time we're in town.

We all got soups to start with: french onion soups and chowder. Gotta say, it was one of the best French onion soups I've had. Even the chowder was up there! Entrees were: filet mignon, salmon, 2 lb stuffed lobster, wedge salad with scallops, and pastrami sandwich...with a side of truffle fries and Mac N Cheese. My scallops were juicy and cooked perfectly with the perfect seasoning. I'm still thinking about them to this day. The 2lb stuffed lobster was literally stuffed with huge pieces of scallops and big shrimp! The side of Mac N Cheese can feed a family of four alone. I didn't try the other foods bc I was too busy enjoying mine and trying to finish it. Oh! Forgot we also shared the wagyu tartare which had great flavor but kinda chewy. Maybe the pieces should be diced smaller. We're already thinking about making plans to go back this week and Father's Day was just last Sunday. I'm so glad this is part of NRG bc we can redeem our rewards there! :)

She was nice enough to let me try them and I chose the Trevino which was very good and paired great with my food. The bread was nothing special but solid and the high quality olive oil made up for it. For my main I got the chicken milanese and it was divine. I loved the vinaigrette on top perfectly acidic and vinegary. It cut though the oil and heaviness of the breading which was perfectly salted by the way. The arugula bean salad was sooo good and created such a well balanced meal. The one thing I will say is I believe their fryer does fish and chicken bc my chicken had a slight ocean taste but since I like fish I was not bothered but non fish people beware!

Nestled in the Wharf, it was a cute little place with both an up and downstairs. We reserved a spot for around 5:30 (in April) and it was pretty open. There weren't too customers yet, and it was nice and quiet. If you're looking for a ton of space for the seating area, I will say that there isn't too much room/it's pretty nice and cozy! At Wharf Southern Kitchen and Whiskey Bar, they've got a line of booths along the wall, a bar area right in the center and at the actual bar, a high top, another bar at one of the entrances, and a table that seats six. Now let's chat about the service. Our waitress was wonderful, patient, and was extremely helpful when asked questions and also gave SUCH wonderful suggestions. There were MANY fantastic choices on their menu and I was having a pretty difficult time narrowing down which one I really wanted, but with our waitress's help, I was able to choose pretty quickly (and they were AMAZING choices!) Now the food! The wait for the food honestly wasn't that long, and when we got it, we ABSOLUTELY CHOWED... -The Crispy Chicken Bites were AMAZING! I ended up upgrading to the Buffalo Style, and it DID NOT disappoint at all! The Bleu Cheese crumbles were just the perfect amount, and the Buffalo sauce was JUST enough to still enjoy the crispiness of the chicken. I DID ask for ranch on the side, and that just was *chef's kiss*! -I've never had fried pickles before, but I certainly have never seen a restaurant do it with whole pickles. Though it was my first time trying fried pickles, it tasted great! I wouldn't say it's anything special, but it's a great, and lighter on the fried side, appetizer! -I was having a hard time choosing what entree to enjoy, but I'M SOOOO glad that I went with the Smoked Brisket Chopped Cheese! I'm not a big brisket girl, but I will say that this was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! At first when it came out on the bun, I was a little skeptical of how it would taste, but it definitely didn't disappoint! The brisket was cooked SO well with the perfect amount of seasoning, and it all just melted so perfectly together as I was eating it. And the tater tots were SO AMAZING (though on the saltier side) and SO perfectly crispy. I've only got great things to say about Wharf Southern Kitchen & Whiskey Bar & I WILL be back here/will suggest it to my friends visiting Newport one day!

Throughout the whole meal the waitress and the staff were attentive. I ordered the steak frites medium. The steak came out a perfect well-done. It was tough and way over done. I truly tried to eat about a little less than third of the steak for the sake of trying to see if there was a spot with a better temperature. The waitress didn't ask how the food was, and at the end of the meal when I was paying the bill I had told her about the steak and how I was disappointed, with clearly most of the steak on the plate. She said "okay". I was/am not looking for money back but more of a acknowledgement considering the it's a $40-50 meal. Beyond that the waitress was talking with the staff at the sushi bar as I was waiting for the check (prior to my complaint) for about 14 minutes. It was timed because my toddler was getting fidgety.
