Aurelio's Pizza in Plainfield is my absolute favorite pizza around -- hands down, no contest. That sauce, though! I swear they must have a team of Italian grandmothers in the back just whispering love spells into the tomato pot. We usually order out (because stretchy pants are life), but every so often we dine in, and it's always a treat. The interior is cozy and welcoming -- like a pizza-themed hug -- and the staff is always friendly and attentive. It's also surprisingly spacious, so you can totally host a gathering here without bumping elbows over the breadsticks. Today's feast was a masterpiece: Barbecue wings -- tasty and sticky in all the right ways. Mozzarella sticks -- pure cheesy glory, like a mozzarella mic drop. Antipasto salad -- packed with more olives and meats than I knew what to do with (and I did my best). And then...the 18-inch sausage pizza. This thing could double as a life raft. It feeds our family for days and is absolutely delectable. Bonus points for having a drive-through -- because sometimes you just need to pick up your pizza without changing out of pajama pants. Great place with amazing food. Its usually good service aswell, typically very nice and accommodating. One server in particular, Theresa, was rude the entire time, making my table do the math to figure out how much our food costed, when she is the server. She also told us we can't get a pizza which was literally on the menu because the kitchen doesn't like making it??? She gave us horrible service then complained when we didn't tip. Why would I tip after being treated like that? Overall a great place if you get any other server. Shes the only one, quite stuck-up. read more

Food was well timed and delicious, drinks were always full and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend trying a pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeño thin crust. We hosted our son's first birthday here and had a great experience! The server was very flexible and attentive and the pizza was good. The only downside was the ice cream machine was not working which we were not aware of despite it being included in a new party package. However, they did supply a dessert pizza. read more

The Aurellios Pizza in Plainfield is an excellent choice for dinner. We ordered Large Cheese Pizza, Chicken Alfredo pasta, buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, Spinach Salad and Bosco sticks. Pizza was fantastic as always and enjoyed all the appetizers. They're also flexible with customizing orders, you can get different toppings on each quarter of your pizza. I ordered a medium 13-in, sausage, pepperoni, green pepper thin crust pizza for ~ 28 bucks for me, my bf and toddler. Half the pizza is gone already and bf hasn't really touched it yet but I'm sure it'll be enough! We're big eaters and I could go H.A.M.on some aurelios. Was here two weeks ago, and that visit was much better. This time, they didn't have provolone cheese for my wife's italian beef like last time, plus the beef sandwich didn't taste as good. I took my 2 toddlers & we met up with our friends for the buffet dinner with Santa tonight 12/6/22. What a fantastic experience!! Santa was so kind and came to our table several times. The buffet food was plenty & hot. My kids loved the pasta choices, tater tots, corn dogs, ice cream & brownies. I loved their sausage pizza & salad bar. I've always loved aurelios pizza. Their sauce is very unique. I recently had to go gluten free and was nervous about my options. I've been setting out to find the best gluten free pizza around and I may have found it! This crust was so amazing! The combo with that and the sauce is top notch. I also love the restaurant in general. It's always clean and the bathrooms are amazing. The service is always great and I like having the TVs around to watch. Aurelio's ranks towards the top of my list for best pizza in Chicagoland. Their sauce is a bit on the sweeter side, but it's not overbearing or unpleasant in the slightest. You can really taste the quality in every aspect of their pizza. We stopped in today for their lunch buffet special. At $10.95 each, you can't beat the price. It includes all-you-can-eat pizza, salad, and hot food items (such as fried shrimp, sausage and peppers, and various pastas). There are also a few dessert options available, namely soft serve, brownies, and an apple crumble pizza. I'm always a bit weary of lunch buffet offerings, as they generally tend to be an afterthought to the general lunch menu, but that's not the case here. The food was refilled as soon as it was emptied and fresh pizzas were brought out as needed. Additionally, our server, Pam, was a delight and made sure our cups were always full and dirty dishes weren't on the table for too long. In all, I don't have anything bad to say about Aurelio's as a whole or this experience. It is excellent in every regard. read more

Came when they had Santa - saw it on a coupon in the mail. When we arrived we were told they had buffet style servings - okay we could make that work. Food was not good, pizza was awful and would rather have had Pizza Hut. At the end of the meal the waitress said we couldn't use our coupon because it wasn't available on buffet nights. Huh? Ordered a pizza for pick up - when I got gone realized they added mushrooms which we are allergic to. Called the restaurant and asked for a refund. Was told the pizza would be refunded to my credit card. Didn't happen and that was four days ago. Not the first time a pizza has been wrong from there. I've never called before asking for them to rectify it. Given the food allergy I can't just pick off the wrong ingredient. The pizza went to the trash. My friend and I hosted a baby shower at Aurelio's in Plainfield this past weekend and we have nothing but good things to say about the experience. We stopped in a while ago to take a look at the special event area and get some information on pricing. The lady we spoke to at that time was very helpful, gave us a packet of information and showed us the space. She gave us a few moments to talk and we decided to get our date in the books while we looked over the contract in just a little more detail after we had left. We appreciated that they weren't pushy and understood the need to review pricing and details a bit more before committing. After deciding it'd be a good place for our event, I was emailed a form, and was able to email back to finalize the reservation. Two weeks before the event, I called to confirm attendance numbers and the package. On the day of the event, we were able to get into the space thirty minutes before it started in order to set up. The lady helping us set up was so helpful and made everything so simple. She set the place settings for us, got water, soda and cups ready promptly, asked how we wanted to arrange tables (there was a onesie making station so needed an extra empty table in the corner) and brought out an extra table for us when we needed a bit more space. I loved that we could bring our own centerpieces and decorations (although nothing can be attached to the walls). During the event, food, drinks and salad were refilled quickly and dishes were cleared promptly from guests that were done as well. There were a few minor things we forgot such as a knife to cut the cake and a permanent marker - and they were kind enough to provide these items for us without hesitation. Right as we started opening gifts, we realized we needed a garbage bag and wala! the coordinator had one ready and waiting for us without even asking. You can tell they're good at hosting events. Overall, we are definitely happy we chose Aurelio's to host our baby shower. The food was good, environment perfect for the size of our group, and service top notch. read more

Pretty sure it was shredded cheddar cheese on my pizza, extremely greasy and the dough wasn't cooked all the way through

We have been coming to this location since it opened. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has gone down quite a bit. We ordered one combo appetizer, a thin crust pizza and dessert for take out. We got home and started with the appetizer which was really good. Then the pizza. To our surprise, we opened up the box and the pizza was really burnt. Will never understand why any establishment would think that it was appropriate to give a customer a burnt pizza instead of making a new one, they weren't busy. We couldn't eat it and threw it out. We ordered a brownie for dessert and thought it would be like any other restaurant that you order dessert from, large enough to share. Unfortunately,it was three tiny squares of a brownie in a plastic container. If anyone has eaten at the buffet, it's the small square brownies they offer on the buffet; not what you expect for almost $7.00. The entire order was $53.00 and we ate the one appetizer that we ordered and three extremely small brownie squares. It's a shame the quality is going down as we have been visiting this location since they opened. Unfortunately, we won't go back. read more

Very disappointed when picking up our pizza the cashier was not masked. But tried to look past it. Then I could see a boy taking pizza from the oven unmasked as well! After looking around the store from the window drive up NO ONE was masked! They all had to be 25 and below in age. As people who are dealing with food I was appalled that they had no precautions.
