I went to a dentist office, prior to being referred to them, and was told they wouldn't even clean my teeth until I had gum scaling done! This apparently happens often. This group is not like that. I see Dr Richard Szikman and absolutely adore him! I get high anxiety going to the dentist and my teeth are extremely sensitive. He ensures I experience no pain, he's gentle, he talks you through what he's doing, and his work is outstanding. As a special note, let me tell you, my son had his two front teeth knocked out (almost) on a Saturday night. I called Dr Szikman's office the following Sunday morning. Dr Michael Szikman called me immediately and we met him at his office within the hour and he cared for my son like you wouldn't believe. No assistant. Just warm and caring. He pulled one and dr'd the other. They're the best.

Front desk lacks the ability to understand the scenario and properly communicate. They lack the ability to think ahead. You can feel their frustrations spilling into the conversation because they screwed up and now they can't fix the issue. The doctor (McGrath) was not attentive and highly dismissive. His hygienist was awesome. A patient better double check and triple check that everything is above board or best go elsewhere cause the dental office does not care and will not do right.

First let me say the staff there is nice and polite. The first clue was when we pulled up and saw bars on the windows! That's not comforting. Then I'm in a wheelchair and this place is not handicap compliant. After we manage to get in building we were immediately beamed back to the 1970's. It even smelled like 1970. Then they made us fill out this old school paperwork. That I had called months earlier to give them so we wouldn't have the inconvenience of filling out out first time. When we got to our room they were the smallest rooms I've ever seen. Again not handicap compliant. We had to fight to get wheelchair squeezed in. Then we found out they don't even have a hygienist that works there. They have a floating hygienist that travels from office to office for small time dental offices. We always book our appointments at the same time for maximum efficiency but that only works if you have a full staff with more than one hygienist. Do we can both be worked on at the same time. Then we here the dentist in with another patient and his voice was so loud. Hearing him say, "well we gotta get that tooth out. It's gotta go. But I wanted to make sure your insurance will cover it". Oh boy, a dentist should never speak to a patient about money! That's no cool. Then they had me go to this old school X-ray machine that I had to stand up in. I a amputee. No left leg. I've never seen a machine like this but it looked 100 years old. No computers in each room. All old school everywhere. No glasses to keep bright lights and spray out of your eyes. Oh then two of the staff had a disagreement right behind me. I heard one make a comment on a diagnosis of my X-ray and the other said, "that's not true". Great now we have differing opinions of what the heck is going on.... When the dentist came in his voice was so loud I was very close to asking him to lower his voice. He is very obnoxious. He needs to sell his business and obviously retire! Lastly my wife saw him at his desk, get up and not putting gloves on when seeing another patient. Luckily he never went to see my wife. Hmm. I felt so bad I texted my wife apologizing to here in the middle of our appointment. I knew then we would never go here again. We did find an amazing place similar to Bling Dental in Portland called Atlanta Dental Spa ahh yes a luxurious dental office. Can't wait to go.

Also the dental assistant who took my X-rays was very friendly and explained everything to me as she was doing it. Let's just say I'd like to see their education/training cert. I experienced the rudeness, lack of care, and the lack of attention to detail. And my personal favorite was the tech answering her FaceTime call with her gloves on then proceeds to have a short convo then came back to me...in the same gloves. So yea enter at your own risk. Had to go back repeatedly so I just requested the dentist only. Only to have her put so much cement in my mouth the dental tech from another dentist trying to fix that handy work looked at me in disbelief. So, yea..RUN
