Best price after driving to 6 different repair shops. In the creastview area. Just a short distance under the over pass down North Lamar before you hit the bad area. They fixed my phone in 30 mins and made recommendations to me on how to save money. Very honest and helped me select a new phone case and placed a cover on my phone. I ended up paying 140 for a new glass screen ($99) and $20 for case and and Titan cover. While I waited I got to eat lunch at the Vietnamese restaurant two doors down. I highly recommend this place and did I mention they have parrots and lots of over phone options! read more

Can't expect much when it comes to phone repair stores now a days. In my experience, most of the employees working at these type of establishments make it seem like they don't want you there, prices to high, etc. But that's not the case with AUS TEX Wireless. From the moment I walked in the store I was greeted and assisted. The employees here are extremely respectful, which DOES matter, fast quality service and definitely a good selection of phones and accessories. If you live in north Austin, South Austin, Central Austin , San Marcos and hell, even Houston. I would most definitely come here. Best phone shop I've ever been to. Went to us Austex because they were recommended by AT&T since I had dead spots on my lg g2 screen. Not only did they fix it and give me a great rate for fixing it by using the screen from another similar phone that had a burned-out motherboard, but they stayed after hours almost an hour to get the job done for me. Highest rating, super friendly guys awesome Service, and just a great experience. it saved me a bucket full of money. The best wireless repair shop in town, hands down. It is very rare to find such friendly tenacious customer service in this time and age. My HTC One got some water damage and turned into a brick. I called around a few places and no one wanted to touch an HTC as they are very hard to repair. Greg agreed to take a look. However it was almost impossible to open it up, and after a lot of effort they did. It would still not work, but the data was important to me. Greg and team went beyond the call of duty to practically change everything on the phone...and it finally worked! It is a completely functional refurb phone now! I want to add a review because the customer service at this place went above and beyond. I came into purchase an Iphone 4 that was to be activated later and "Greg" went over everything with me and did not push me into buying phone. He took the time, even with a busy store, to identify and take care of any concerns I had. A small problem arose and he went did the unexpected! He stayed with me and helped get everything up and running. Even traded some info that helped each other out and learned something new. The young ladies at the store were very helpful and not pushy in anyway. I truely felt like I can say this store takes care of thier clientle. The guys at AusTex PCS Cell Repair are awesome! I broke my phone screen at a zoo trying to get a picture of a cool monkey. Kid knocked it out of my hand and it went flying, the screen stood no chance against the cobblestone walkway. I got a quote from them online and when I went in they held true to the price they had quoted me. The price is the cheapest I have found, and they fixed it in 10 minutes while I waited. A local business that does it right. I've been here three times and its worth paying more than the guys that offer iphone repairs for $60. The first time I dropped my phone and shattered my screen. I was out in no time. The second time, I shattered my screen again and had an unpleasant experience with an employee that no longer works there and swore I would never be back. The third time, my screen stopped working without me dropping it. It was just beyond the 30 day warranty but when I called and spoke to the owner about my previous experience, he repaired my phone for free and apologized for his employee's behavior. CJ at AusTex is very knowledgeable and provided excellent service. I brought in a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet that got stuck on the Samsung logo on boot. I vaguely knew that Team Win Recovery Project offered some hope of doing a backdoor recovery of my data (particularly S-Notes), but if I could have done it myself (a big if), there is no telling how much time it would have taken me. I needed someone who was already fluent in it, who wouldn't be learning it for the first time, to navigate the process. That's exactly what I got with CJ. He clearly has a lot of experience with low-level work on tablets and cell phones. In fact, the TWRP backup wouldn't work, so he went with "Plan B," using TWRP to access the file system.
