We had a few glitches with the lease on our new Infiniti, but lifetime customers are made when a business knows how to turn lemons into lemonade. The first car that arrived, when we were scheduled to take possession, was the wrong color. Apparently, the car we wanted was in high demand and very few were available nationwide and somehow a mistake was made with a newer sales person :(. Troy, the manager, bent over backwards to resolve the initial issue and went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get the car (color) that we wanted (and even helped us get into a better model). We ran into some later challenges with finance and paperwork because of the above issue, and "Mike" actually came out to our house to fix the paperwork and finalize everything so we didnt have to drive back out to the dealership. Another white glove customer service moment. After the initial, rather significant, challenges with a newer rep, we were transferred to Chris Corn (sales consultant) who was fantastic. He knows the product and servicing from a customer standpoint very well and was extremely professional with every interaction. There was a glitch in the system (no fault of the dealership) with the finance company, but Troy once again went way above and beyond in fixing the problem that they didn't create. I honestly have to say that what started out as not so perfect turned into the most pleasant car buying/leasing experience I've ever had. I would recommend this dealership and the entire team (Troy, manager/ Chris Corn, sales consultant, and Mike, in finance) to get your deal done. Man oh mannnn am i glad i went with Austin Infiniti. First off, Troy was really pleasant to work with. He was never pushy and always informative and took things very slowly (this was my first experience with purchasing a car). Secondly, service from EVERYBODY was always up beat and professional. The dealership itself is in very good condition (its beautiful, actually) and purchasing an Infiniti has probably been one of the best decisions ive ever made. Also, somehow I ended up with the exact VIN i wanted. At some point the car was for sure gone, but then the next day Troy promptly let me know that the deal didnt go through with the other person. Right when i was signing papers, another dealer came in asking if that VIN was still available...I guess i got the most desirable G37! I'm interested in buying an Infiniti later this year & just wanted to get a feel for the model I'm interested in purchasing. PJ Garcia was very helpful, knows his Infiniti's, urged me to really drive/experience the car, & most importantly he did not pressure me into purchasing the vehicle or making commission. In fact, he urges me to keep checking with Infiniti & the dealership as incentives typically happen throughout the year starting in the spring. To me, that was awesome as most salespeople want you to buy right now! There was no salespeople scouring the parking lot looking for prey. I guess with these higher end car dealerships, they don't need to do that because not just anybody goes there & their potential clients typically know what they want (like me). I am leaving a 4 star only because I haven't bought anything yet! WHEN that time comes, I hope to update to a 5! No pressure at all, PJ! In 2011 I picked up an '09 G37 sedan (via Toyota dealer). Brought it in last Spring for some preventative maintenance, knowing the tires were roached. Ended up getting a set of Hankook tires @ a price the local tire shops couldn't touch. Monte set me up with a nice loaner so I could run some errands. A few hours later I was headed home - great experience & prices that contradict the word "stealership". Yesterday I noticed my driver's rear was flat. Tires have approx 3k miles on them so I gave the Svc Dept a call. Tire was covered under 100% replacement guarantee. All I had to pay for was mounting & balancing. Once again Monte took care of business. All the Service Consultants are professional & personal. Their customer service alone would warrant (me) purchasing a vehicle from them. read more

Heard a loud rumbling noise out of the blue, called Infiniti and they took me in ASAP, got me a loaner and fixed other things that I didn't even know was wrong. I had a leak from the sunroof on a 2008 G35. Water was coming out the drivers-side rear panel between the door and the rear window. Made an appointment, and the customer service was very good and the loaner car was convenient. However, they charged $170 for an estimate/diagnosis. Their diagnosis listed a clogged drain clip as the problem and they said the whole panel would need to be replaced. Total cost ~$1300. This being ludicrous, I got a second opinion from Texas Auto Tops on N. Meadows Dr. (behind the Chuy's on N. Lamar). They found the actual problem (a kinked hose), were able to fix it in 1 hour, and the panel didn't need to be replaced- just scrubbed a bit. Total of $140. So, Infiniti charged me more for an _incorrect_ diagnosis than it cost to actually fix the real problem, and they would have charged me $1100 more to fix the wrong problem. read more

They say all the right things, and tell catchy stories, but they do not measure up to what other dealers offer. I purchased a pre-owned car from Austin Infiniti, and even though they claim to have a 130 point inspection, I had problems with my car almost immediately. When I approached them about the problem, I was told it's no big deal, these things happen and the salesperson proceeded to brag about what a beautiful car it is. What the car looks like really doesn't matter when it leaves you stranded at 11pm at night, 3 days after you bought it. Other dealers offer 3 or 5 days to return or exchange a vehicle if you aren't satisfied, but not Austin Infiniti. They did not apologize for anything, and even minimized it by acting like it was no big deal, or that I had somehow caused the problem. Really? I'm sure I'm not the only person who would be upset with buying a car on Monday evening, and getting stranded on Thursday, at 11pm at night in the rain. So let the buyer beware! Next time, I will be buy a vehicle from a different dealership, one who will stand behind their product. read more

Like most, buying a new car is a bitter sweet experience. You are excited about the prospects of driving a new car, the "kicking tire stage" has its ups and downs but you also know that eventually you are gong to have to deal with the sales person. I have been in medical sales & sales management for over 25 years and actually enjoy the sales process. I find myself critiquing the sales person and like most of you buy from someone I like and trust. That said, I set off on my car buying journey with three cars in mind. BMW, Audi and Infiniti. I went to their dealerships and spent time test driving, researching and interacting with the sales reps. In the end I chose the Infiniti G-37 because it had more to offer then the others. What separated the G-37 even more was the team at Austin Infiniti. These folks are incredible at making the buying experience pleasurable and rewarding. One person in particular exemplifies what it means to be a true professional sales person and that is Camey Martinez. Camey worked with me every step of the way to insure that I got the car with the features I wanted at a price that was fair. She does what all really outstanding sales people do, asks great questions, listens without judgement, under promises and over delivers. He took me out to a fantastic road with winding turns, dips, and hills. And unlike the other dealerships that I visited, he was comfortable pushing the car to its limits--exactly what I wanted to experience during the test drive. John was also very flexible. Since I still felt a little uncomfortable with a manual transmission, he was willing to trade off driving. We have always had a great experience with Infiniti Austin. I will continue to purchase vehicles there. Last month a couple of weeks before Christmas, I brought my car in because the key fabs were acting up. Not only did they replace my key fabs for free, but while it was there, they noticed a problem with my battery and with a rattling fan. My car is no longer under warranty. They fixed everything just because. My husband likes to tinker with cars and planned to fix the fan himself, he just had not gotten around to it. He had previously purchased the part for almost $500 from Infiniti. They took the part back and reimbursed us for it as well. We had wonderful customer service from both Latoya Valdez and Bobby Davis. We are very appreciative of the service and care they provided to us. Worst experience. Had brought my car for service here. After paying $$1700 I was told the car needs a new engine. Instead of trying to fix my car, they were trying to sell me a new car. Their whole attitude was that they were doing me a favor, even though Ive payed $1700 for repairs that were not needed on the car. All I can say is they have the most incompetent mechanics, and are motivated to sell new cars more than to fix the existing customers car. read more

A little belated review, it's been a week since I got my car here and I am in love. I stopped in on a Saturday and was looking at a few on the certified pre owned cars they had and was irate approached by someone that didn't really care and went back inside (it was super hot out too) Then, out walks Juan. Dude what a great salesman. He walked out with two waterbottles to greet me and my boyfriend and explained almost every car. He got me into a practically brand new Infiniti and stayed with me until 9 and night. He insisted that it was no big deal and made me feel nothing but welcome and was super patient. After driving my car for a couple days I noticed a few small problems and became a little nervous about My purchase. When I told him he assured me that he would take care of it! I dropped by Infiniti over the weekend, and spoke with Tony the salesmen. He had a G37 that I wanted. Other comments have suggested they don't haggle price, absolutely right, HOWEVER, that's not the biggest problem...try $6000.00 over priced! We had a trade which he low-balled, and then asked us to pay his sticker price of $27,800 for a 2011 G37! Now the car was real clean, had decent miles.....I really wanted the car, but to insult me with not moving not ONCE on the price of my car or his... was too much of an insult, considering the usual car industry practices. Tony was polite, but it seemed they were way to proud of their car and just waiting for the right sucker to come along and pay over the book price. I have no experience with the service dept. of course, but I can tell you they have the prettiest waiting room that I have ever seen, it's like going into a nice coffee cafe. The service is OK. If you know they screwed up something and they know they screwed up too, then you will still have to stand your ground to get them to fix their mistakes. They sold the wrong part for my car then tried to backpedal about it and have me cover the cost for their mistake. It was pretty annoying to deal with, but they eventually did the right thing. In this case it might have been the fault of one individual rather than the overall policy. It's still something to be wary of if you are taking your business here. read more

I hate the car purchasing experience as a general rule due to the pushy and sometimes bizarre dealings I've had with prior dealerships. I worked with John Garza at Infiniti and he was the right kind of laid back but helpful sales consultant. He was respectful of our questions and time and clearly believes in the car we purchased which was the recently released 2016 Infiniti QX60. I wanted to say that our experience with Austin Infiniti was about the best that we have ever had purchasing a car! We did a pre-approved through Capital Car Navigator for a car we wanted and and saw that Infinity was a preferred dealership. We used TrueCar to get a bid and we were called within two minutes by the dealership representative. Juan Lujan assisted us through a quick and painless process which took less than 2 hours our first day (including the test drive), and just so we didn't have to wait a couple more hours to speak with financing (there were some people ahead of us), he made an appointment for us to come in the next day to finish the process. Juan answered all of our questions and gave us first-class treatment. He had noticed that the owner's manual was somewhat ragged looking when he was getting the car ready and so he took the initiative to order a new one and will have it sent to us. That was a really nice surprise which shows his commitment to excellence. Our car was detailed and a full tank of gas when we came in to sign the papers. The staff of Austin Infinity made sure that an open recall was fixed, and even found an unlisted recall which was also fixed for us.
