Y'all do not know Danny Horrigan very well on his integrity and character (Or lack of) do y'all? I'm his neighbor (An army 100% disabled Vet under VA regs from Desert Storm). Years ago I helped speak up at city council for part of Pillow road to be renamed after his KIA Delta Force brother. He gave me a sob story about his having no luck and his work truck needed a fuel pump, it cost $1600! I was STUPID and lent him the money interest free. This was years ago mind you. He had money for to build another home on his mother's property where he currently lives, and construction stuff, even won a $20,000 small claims lawsuit against a neighbor. Did Danny give me my money back? Nope, not one single penny, and I'm not the only neighbor he has screwed over. I would have let him work it off by cutting my trees, but he doesn't even want to talk to me, and people that owe $$$ to others usually do not, they avoid like the noid. Take some advice, NEVER lend out ANYTHING, especially $$$. I finally got a REAL professional company, Beny's Tree Service, cost to trim and remove branches and everything? $675.00! This company is completely inexperienced and has no business in the tree trimming industry as you can tell from the pictures provide. Along with having my trees trimmed, my yard was completely destroyed, my driveway was scratched, and debris was left all over the property. After asking the owner to come back and clean up the mess before giving him full payment, he chose to freak out on me because he simply couldn't sweep up the yard & pick up his tractor from my property. This owner is completely unstable and possibly a using addict. All he needed to do was clean up his mess, pick up his equipment, and get paid. Not that hard...... Well, he chose to tell me my money is no good and threaten me. So what am I supposed to do? The answer is, Inform you all of this Tree trimming con artist and NOT to use this business. read more

Dan came out to our commercial property to assess our 20'+ tall Mexican Fan Palm trees as they hadn't put out any new growth since snowpacolypse. They were dead (RIP) so he brought out the big equipment and removed them and even ground the stumps. I know personally that this is no easy or quick task as I had to help cut down and cut up, load up a couple of smaller ones from our house so I respect the work he performed. He gave us a very competitive price to do the work and we will definitely be sharing his name with others because I see a lot of dead palms in our area read more

Beware. He is not honest. He gave a quote that he considers too low to begin with, told me things he would do, and then didn't do. Then when I had him working on site, he jacked the price. Then, he didn't finish the job completely and left me with debris and leaves still to clean up all the while promising to do the job to my satisfaction. I even contacted him to come back and finish, which he ignored. Unprofessional. GET everything in writing or don't use them. This is approaching scam. Seriously. Or plan on having him do the first cheap part and another to finish the job. read more

Danny was quick to answer and to give a quote. However, he gave a low bid to try and compete with another offer. He did 75% of the work, texted me that the work was complete and asked for payment. When I got home and noticed it wasn't completed like we agreed, he said he did the amount of work sufficient for what he was getting paid, and that it would cost another $100 to complete the job. Nobody else would come out to complete such a small job, so I spent my Saturday doing what Danny was supposed to do. I would not recommend. read more

Just a few months ago, and on short notice, Danny and his crew cleared out some shrubs and small trees in my front garden bed that I couldn't get out myself and did an excellent job. He was able to schedule me in just a few days after contacting him, which was very convenient. His rate was very reasonable and he completed the work in just a few hours. He also cleaned up afterward and left the garden bed in great shape for me to do some new landscaping. We hired this guy, Dan I think to do some tree work and landscaping a year or so ago and he was totally scatter brained. Very unorganized, would show up at odd times to our house and asked for full payment on the first day when he hadn't done any work. We knew we made a mistake immediately and he didn't do a good job. My boyfriend had to finish up. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Danny came out to our place to remove a lot of dead Oak trees that didn't survive through the drought. It was a very large job. I think he ended up taking out 8-9 loads of wood. Danny knows his trees. He explained to us how the trees can get this disease when stressed in a drought. He talked about the remaining trees on the property and how we could take care of them. He worked hard and long hours in 100+ degree heat to get the job done quickly. He left the place super clean, picking up all of the debris, which I really appreciated. First Danny came out and gave us an estimate for the tree work we wanted to have done. He is very enthusiastic about his work and his plans were easy to understand. When he came back to do the work he did a great job getting our trees trimmed and hauled away all the trimmings.
