We came here early on a Sunday morning to caffeinate ourselves before our drive back to Dallas. Despite being short staffed, which seems to be a theme down this way, the staff was awesome! The food was delicious, the Mexican chocolate coffee smelled and tasted good, and my fiancé needed something sweet to top it all off, so he paired his coffee with the triple chocolate croissant. If we lived down this way we'd be back for sure! read more

Love this spot!! Austin tea exchange is a great place to grab a bite to eat and sip on some fresh tea/coffee. I recently moved into an apartment complex close by and have been stopping by almost every morning to grab my coffee and sweet potato hash bowl! The sweet potato hash bowl is amazing. A cute little cafe in Bee Caves, I found the best lavender matcha latte I've ever had here. It's nice and frothy and topped with lavender buds which makes it smell and taste absolutely heavenly for someone like me who loves floral flavors. I also had a greek yogurt bowel which was yummy and different from anything I've seen before - there are really good topping combinations that really do make a healthy dip for chips or the like. I don't know that it was worth the price, but really was a good idea I might try at home. The lavender matcha latte though. That's just it for me. I will be back for that! read more

Fast, affordable & approachable what more can you ask for a cafe? Decided to check this tea front out while I was in the Bee Cave area and so glad I did. There located in a shopping plaza across from the Hill Country Galleria and offers indoor and outdoor covered seating. If you love tea then this place is definitely for you as they had over a dozen teas not to mention the weekend specials and if tea is not your thing they offer quite a few coffee drinks as well. I went with the hibiscus and white peach tea which were very refreshing on a hot summer day then paired it with their delicious sandwiches the Turkey pesto panini and the bistro club. Overall good experience that reminded me of the teavana days so if your in the area and looking for a quick bite you won't regret stopping in here. read more

Austin Tea Xchange Cafe has the most thoughtful menu of Teas and Coffees but they are so much more! My first visit at Austin Tea Xchange I was delighted by how open and cheery the space is. In addition to their dining area, they have an outdoor patio that is pup approved. Their food is also incredible! I saw everyone from families of 4, coffee dates and customers solo dining taking in a beautiful day. I savor their ceremonial grade matcha lattes, devour their crushed avocado toast and delight in their sweet treats like macarons. They also have wonderful dishes that I think would be great post workout (or anytime really) such as sweet potato hash bowls and their fun Greek Yogurt Bowl Creations. read more

Good food - but restaurant is ran poorly. Phones aren't set up properly on Google. No one ever answers the phone. I order twice a week and every time I have to call and ask for more sauce cause the Buddha bowl barely has any...my assistant and I will call about 20x before someone answers...then they won't even add extra sauce like we ask. I'll pay more for extra if that's why they are being so cheap. Went into restaurant one time and it felt very dirty...tables were dirty & so was the floor. read more

I wanted to give a huge shoutout to Kamilla and Austin Tea Xchange for providing the most amazing lunch today for our teachers at a local elementary school. They helped me create an amazing menu of sandwiches, salads and bowls and were sensitive to providing food for all dietary restrictions. Their staff helped me load up the car and made sure I had everything I needed. Kamilla even surprised me by including the most scrumptious-smelling chocolate croissants for all our staff as a special spring break treat! They really went above and beyond! I love supporting local businesses that have healthy, delicious food and the cherry on top is working with amazing people. My wife and I visit this restaurant pretty frequently and I always laugh at the name and wonder if it is limiting their audience? They have some wonderful teas but when I dine at this restaurant for lunch I see most of the customers ordering salads, sandwiches and paninis. They have a nice selection of lunch items and the consistency and quality is great! read more

verdict: it's just okay. everything was fresh which was nice. i got the sweet potato hash bowl and presentation wise it's lovely and nothing is inedible but the ratio is just way off. it ended up being really heavy/starchy and needed anything fresh to balance it out. i'm sure there is other stuff here that's better but i would not recommend and definitely wouldn't return. read more

The most perfect avocado toast I've ever had - bread is crunchy, chewy, moist and soft all at the same time, avocado is fresh, egg is a perfect sunny side and not overly runny, and the tomato on top is roasted!!!! We have been to this establishment before when it had a different names, they all went out of business! My husband Harry and I thought we will give this place a go for the second time. BOTH experiences wegreat!! New place, new name, however much better this time around. We walked in and we were pleasantly surprised, it was very clean inside, the staff greeted us with a "Good Morning" they made us feel very welcome, we ordered one croissant, with egg, and one without, Orange Juice, coffee, an almond croissant, it was all delicious, the price was just right also, we will definitely be back! The good: This place is really cute! It's always busy and I love the simplicity of the place. The service is usually quick and very friendly which I appreciate. The price of tea is fair. I've heard good things about the lunch & breakfast menu so I look forward to trying it sometime since I work in the area. The not so good: My order is always incorrect when I come here for tea, they usually give me the wrong size or cold (when I order hot) which is really disappointing. The price of pastries is too much. I ordered a spinach croissant (worker did not know what kind it was there are no names on display) and it was not fresh, definitely not worth $6.... yikes. Nice quaint place for a tea. Love the selection of different types of teas. Not the biggest fan of their pricing and the food that was provided. The tea brewers or baristas (not sure of the right term :P) are amazing at their craft and will give you a nice foamy tea (if you get the milk one) that is silky smooth in texture. read more

My friend and I came here because of all the 5 star reviews. We had high hopes for their food and drinks. We ordered the avocado toast and the breakfast sandwich on a brioche bun. The avocado toast would have been amazing if not for the spiciness level. It was almost inedible due to that fact. There was nothing in the description saying there were any peppers or jalapenos in the guac they used. The breakfast sandwich was subpar, it was all bun. Not much egg to speak of. I came here to meet a friend and catch up. She was late so I came here to work on stuff first before she arrived. I went up to the counter and ordered a Kombucha Ginger Tea first and the staff was super nice and courteous when they brought it out to me. When my friend got here we ordered food together. I got the Veggie Stuffed Grilled Cheese. They gave us a number and we sat back down and they brought our food out pretty quick. The food was pretty good. I really liked the tea that I got. There was a hint of ginger but not too much and the sweetness level was just right- not too sweet. The sandwich was pretty good too. It wasn't all greasy and oily like most grilled cheeses were and there were yummy veggies in it. It came with a side of chips and for about $8 I thought it was okay. I would definitely come back again if I'm in the area. The service is great and it's a bright cafe and the food isn't bad. read more
