Upon knowing my criteria/choice, Angela dispatched a top-rated inspection service, then giving my target car a thorough 'once-over' 2. Armed with inspection results, she contacts the car dealer (a major FACTORY CAR DEALER!). 3. Much like a seasoned Cordon Bleu chef, she cuts ALL the excess fat, price-wise. 4. Walked me through all the agreements/forms (pre-negotiated in my favor, of course). 5. Dealer overnights all docs, I execute/reciprocate +a check. 6. I did not use this service. I called to attempt to use the service. I like to think I give honest reviews and don't relish in the fact of giving bad reviews. I first problem I had was when I called the person that answered, named JR, just answered with the name of the company. No name given or anything. He just waited for me to say something and I had to ask to whom I was speaking. I would like to know who I am speaking to. Secondly, the person said he could not answer basic questions about the services offered. I wanted to know if I could sell/trade-in my old vehicle. He said he did not know and would have to ask someone, but there were no people available to ask. But, he thought that they could not offer the service. So, I would have to be called back at a later time. The first person anyone speaks to at a company should be knowledgeable and able to answer simple questions. Given the reviews, generally, this may be a good service, but the first person I spoke to really turned me off to wanting to use this service. read more

I had to cancel authority auto services because authority auto full service was never completed. After more than 40 days since I first spoke with them about the Santa Fe Hybrid, Limited trim over the phone (when I gave my data and car description - 06/30/21). I did not receive any possible deal to evaluate. I received once (07/15/21) a window sticker after I sent a email asking for updates but, it was for the wrong model and color (not hybrid and not any of the colors we spoke about it). I was not satisfied with the way things were moving (I did try to give more options by choosing a different car but still no answers). I understand that maybe nowadays it's a little bit harder to find some cars but, I only got updates when I asked for it and always answered by phone calls, not by email even though I asked for updates by email and no calls. Now I'm back to square one, because I still don't have the car and I will have to deal with the dealers by my self (something that I really don't like it) I'm giving 2 stars because they didn't charged me the $200 and because I know that there are less vehicles available these days. However being specialized on buying vehicles I thought they would be able to have better results. read more

I had a wonderful experience leasing my car through Authority Auto.  They were very informative during the process and they made sure all the preferences in my check list were observed. Customer service is definitely a priority for these guys. Another great thing about Authority Auto, is they deliver the car super fast, I first contacted them on Tuesday and the car was delivered on Friday! I filled out the web form twice, called them, they said someone called Angela will reach out to me, but no one ever did. I even got an email asking for a time when they can call me. I shared every detail but no one bothered to reach out to me. I had to take my business elsewhere. Edit: Oren, thank you for your response and being considerable. I appreciate it. It would've been better if someone would've confirmed the delay in their first or second email. I didn't have to wait 3-4 days for someone to reach out to me. I worked with Oren and Marvin at Authority Auto to help me 1. get a new car and 2. help me get out of my old lease. Marvin and Oren came highly recommended. I gave them a nearly impossible task of finding me a very specific color and packages for a brand new BMW. All the dealers I went to told me to special order it and it would take 3-4 months. On top of that the lease quotes were atrocious. So I put Marvin to the test. He came back and searched the entire country (literally) and actually found the vehicle I was looking for ! Not only did he find one just delivered to a dealer, he got me a deal that was more that $100 dollars less per month, saving me more that $3600 over the course of my lease. He literally did all the leg work. I showed up at the dealer and signed and drove off in less than an hour. Everything went flawlessly. 11/11/19 WOW!! I was extremely skeptical about Authority Auto & Oren when I read about this service. In the past I negotiated a tough deal on my own and "thought" I was doing a good job. My deal price was randomly set in my head and if the dealer met that price we had a deal!! If not I walked. Oren takes it to another level (he got me 7.52% off a high demand 2020 Porsche Cayenne)..he was always transparent on what he was doing and I felt very secure in letting him to do "all the work". He also sold my car for $1000 higher than I could've received. This is a service that is worth every penny!! A Total waste of my $900 for Full Review service. The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee delivered from Austin dealer Nyle Maxwell was full of rock chips all over the front bumper and dent on the hood. Driver side Leather seats was worn and 2 punctures on the passenger side seats. My negotiator failed to even ask and verify the condition of the "New" car. None of the damages was never disclosed to me. Totally Disappointed and no assurances. She never sent an photos of the car for review. Authority Auto gives the image to be an advocate for you during the car purchase, however I never felt at all that they had my back and showed no enthusiam to the deal. I attempted to return the 2018 for 2019 because of the damages, but dealer refuse to exhange. The car final price was even close to the internet price and I do not see any value in this service. Total waste of money. Do not use this service. Not 1 Time did the owner even call to follow up to check during the transaction. Not One time did my negotiator offer practical advice to 1) Verify the condition of the "New" car. 2) Do Not Sign until you do this... 3) Suggest to even Inspect the Car. read more

Angela helped both me and my wife buy EVs. She did a terrific job. Many car dealerships are price gouging customers for an EV right now at up to $10,000 over list price, so buying a new EV can be a real challenge. Angela was able to find new cars for both of us without dealer markups. Both of our cars were shipped from out of state but she was able to save us money by negotiating a better deal that reduced the cost of shipment. Authority Auto can find cars that you would otherwise be unlikely to find on your own. The whole buying experience was so much better than having to deal with a car salesperson. Yes, you have to pay them something for doing this for you. For us it was worth every penny. read more

(simplified due to lack of space for complete story LOL. Basically, it took 2 weeks for Chris to get started on my Corolla) On May 31st: Reached out with the contact form. June 28th: I received an automated "Free car deal review" with generic stuff to call them. Saturday August 3rd: I send an email stating that I'm ready to go and specify exactly what I want in a Corolla (no test drive needed) and that I need to sell my Nissan Leaf. Monday August 5th: By 1pm Eastern (granted just 10am their time) no one had called me or indicated that they were, so I initiated a call. They told me that I was assigned to Chris and transferred to him. Chris and I had a great conversation and he gave me great advise to sell the car to Carmax (not being sarcastic, Carmax paid more than I anticipated) and then he tells me a shocker. He won't be able to make any calls till a week from the following Thursday/Friday. Ugh! This was a shock after reading reviews from people that had gotten offers "an hour later" from when they called and/or days later in the vehicle. But, I thought, well maybe that's just a conservative projection and maybe he'll at least be able to give me options and get the process close to done by then. A week goes by, nothing. No contacts, no "haven't forgotten about you", nothing. I go into Carmax and get the offer and send it to Chris and he calls me later saying that's a good deal. Great! I sell the car to Carmax and don't have to worry about that anymore. Just need the Corolla. Saturday August 10th: I email Chris saying I sold it. I, being polite, said "no rush" in that I had a 3rd vehicle but DID state I was excited and eager. No response. Thursday August 15th: I start getting into excited mode and start checking my phone to see if Chris had called. Nothing. 4pm Eastern, I send an email politely asking him if he was still planning on making the deal the next day. Friday August 16th: Again, checking my phone all the time. Today he was going to have the offer ready for me, right? Not a peep. 4pm goes by, 5pm goes by, 6pm goes by, finally at 7pm (4pm West Coast), I call the office to speak to Chris and find out... He's on vacation. Sigh. I'd be fine with that if he was a one man show or at least if he had called me, texted me, emailed me, SOMETHING to let me know what's going on. I really feel like Authority Auto has let me down at this point. I'm sure that they'll go "above and beyond" on Monday, but I bet there was at least one other person there at AA that could've helped me before now. Maybe it was the fact that I got "assigned" to Chris back when he had availability and there was no way for him to pass me onto someone else once it was time for me to buy. The guys at AA need to realize that buying a car is an EMOTIONAL experience (excitement, happiness, anxiety, etc) and that we can't be dragged on like this. There's a reason why I'm sure most vehicle deals are done in a single day or weekend. So... I guess I'll have to wait 2 more days to hear back from anyone. Wish me luck. ---------------------- EDIT Sat 5:21pm - I've bumped the review from 2 stars to 3 stars after getting a call from Chris apologizing and promising to hit the search hard on Monday. This has begun to restore my faith in AA. We will see what type of deal he can put together and I'll finalize my review. ------------------------ EDIT Tuesday 8/27 - Alright, paperwork is all signed and done. It was a long process, but I have bumped up the review to 5 stars as I 100% firmly believe that Chris got me the best deal possible. At first I wasn't happy with Chris as the first number he told me was something like $375/month lease for a Corolla Hybrid. That was like $125/month more than I was paying on my 16 Civic. I was also annoyed that Chris seemed to think it was a good deal. As we progressed, though, I realized that technically what he was saying was true. The Corolla is a brand new model, the Hybrid is a first for the Corolla and Corollas don't have very high margins anyway. Getting a good rate on leasing means being able to cut down the MSRP and then I found out that Toyota really manipulates the numbers by FORCING addons at the factory/port. $700 Toyoguard: Required. $350 Floor Mats: Required (I had already bought some, oh well), etc, etc. The MSRP you see on the cars at every dealership is $2k+ higher than the website. Practically Bait and Switch in my book. But, in the end, it was WELL worth the money because I paid exactly what Chris told me it'd be. The best part? The closest car I could find in the configuration I wanted (rare color + rare package) was 2 hours away and that would've been a NIGHTMARE to get there, having to take my whole family on a 4 hour roundtrip outing and then be at the mercy of the dealership to screw me over. Instead, Chris talked to all local dealers and got me a better price on one in route to ANOTHER DEALERSHIP straight from the factory and shipped directly to my local dealer. Wow! read more

When we first approached the dealership (prior to signing up with Authority Auto) we were quoted full MSRP and a lease payment of $800. We then decided to use Authority Auto and it was the best decision we could have made. Angela negotiated a deal with the same dealership that saved us $1500 of MSRP and brought our payment down to $572. Over the entire term of the lease Angela saved us at least $5K! Oren was fantastic to work with. Within 48 hours of engaging with him we had a new car sitting in our driveway. Knowing the current challenge of extremely limited inventory, Oren immediately jumped on our search, located the right vehicle, and negotiated a fantastic deal on our behalf. He reviewed the dealers' lease paperwork before we signed it and spotted an error and saved us and additional $15 a month. Oren was extremely responsive and always answered our calls and texts immediately, taking care of all of the details and even scheduling the delivery to our home. For our most recent transaction, we had a car coming off lease that we were going to return. The residual value was pretty low and we worked with Oren and his connections to find a party that was interested in purchasing it. We were able to buy the car from our finance company and sell it at a profit that we are now using to make the first several months payments on our new car. Authority Auto's service is absolutely priceless! We were fully aware that with no experience or knowledge in buying a vehicle we would not be able to negotiate a good deal, the dealership would without doubt have the upper hand. We absolutely needed someone with expertise that we could trust to do the car negotiating for us. We found out about car brokers/car concierges. We ran into Authority Auto's website and their statement was pretty impressive. They list a numerous amount of reasons of how the customer only benefits and gets reassurance from their service. The deal breaker was that they don't ever accept dealer commissions, setting them apart from other brokers/concierges, which assures the customer they are indeed in the lookout for their best interest. The customer service was exceptional. Angela's work and commitment is impeccably outstanding. She was genuinely interested in us getting the best deal. Always attentive to our requests and any concerns and questions we had. Always keeping us updated. They are very well knowledgeable in all aspects of the car buying process hence she directed me to do a certain loan application. She was able to lower my interest rate from 4.49% to 2.49%. That alone speaks for itself on how you can only benefit from their service. In no way would I have known to do that on my own . The dealership was discreetly upset that I was able to obtain such an insanely lower interest rate. Right before I was going to do the last signature I told the finance manager to send the contract over to Angela. She had instructed me to do so, so she may do the final review. To our astonishment Angela found that he "mistakenly " did an outrageous "error" of selecting the higher interest in the final contract! When Angela called him out on it he said "oh yes small mistake" and then proceeded to correct it. I was pissed how he almost completely screwed us over so bad, if not for Angela. To top it all off I believe their service price is very reasonable. What you pay is a portion of all you save, think it this way: you're going to pay $10 to save $100 dollars (hypothetically, that's not the actual service fee). The savings cancels and outdoes the cost. There is absolutely NO REASON anybody should be buying a car without Authority Auto's service.
