I had an excellent experience with Auto1 Service Center and want to share it because good service deserves recognition. I brought my white Audi Q5 in for heavy water spots/etching on the hood and front panels. The owner, Perry, personally inspected the car with me before starting. He walked me through what the process would involve and initially quoted just over $500. After I mentioned that was a bit outside my budget, he adjusted the price to $450 and explained clearly why he couldn't go lower given the labor involved. No pressure, just transparency. I dropped the car off at 8:15 AM and it was completed around 1 PM. When I returned, Perry again personally inspected the vehicle with me and showed me the results. The paint looks dramatically better -- smooth, uniform, and restored. The heavy spotting is gone and the finish has great clarity. What really impressed me was the integrity beyond the paint correction. Perry noticed uneven wear on my front right tire. Instead of trying to sell me new tires, he explained tire rotation intervals (about every 5,000 miles) and recommended simply swapping the rear right to the front right for now. Given that I replaced all four tires at the same time a few years ago, his recommendation made sense. They completed the swap in about 15 minutes for $39.99. No upselling. No scare tactics. I am so grateful to Perry and his team. I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences here. Today's visit gets more than 5 stars Since this last heavy rains my right rear tire started losing tire pressure, so I took my vehicle back to Les Schwab, where I purchased my tires. I had to leave my vehicle and pick it up after a few hours so they could do a flat repair. Later that evening when I started to drive my vehicle, the "Check Tire Pressures" light came on only to find the tire pressure was reading at 19 psi. I was NOT a happy camper considering I had to give a friend a ride to SFO airport early the next morning. (Bare in mind its now after hours and i can't get it looked at.) Long story somewhat short, lol the following day I took my vehicle into Auto 1, where I get my oil changed regularly. Perry and his team got me right in. With careful inspection, guess what?? They found a sharp object in that same tire the flat repair was done! It took them less than a minute to locate the source of the continued leaking of air from the tire. WOW!!!! I WAS IMPRESSED AND BEYOND GRATEFUL FOR getting rid of my anxiety of a blow out whilst driving. I can't thank Perry and his expert technicians enough! I was stuck at a nearby park on a Sunday afternoon and my car wouldn't start. When I called to see if they were open, I explained my situation and Perry, the owner, personally came to help jump start my car. Though we ended up having to tow my car, I was impressed by the continued customer service Perry and his team provided. After 2 very long hours, tow truck and I finally made it to the shop, I was grateful that 3 technicians came out, ready to take over and help diagnose my car. After several tests, I was thrilled to find out that the problem was not my battery after all! (Saving me $$$) This shop does not try to convince you to buy or pay for a service you do not need. They are very honest and genuinely care about you. I wanted to pay for their time they spent with me on the phone and for running diagnostic tests and even coming to the park to help me while I was with my two little ones, but Perry, the owner refused. Ita never fun when your car doesn't start far from home but it was reassuring to know that there are still auto shops out there that you can trust. They are experts! I was having issues with the steer handling on my car and it was progressively worsening until it started wearing down my tires quicker than normal. My car steering wheel would rattle at 65 miles on the freeway and would steer too much to the right. I went to America's Tires to get a wheel alignment and was told my car needed mechanical repair before the alignment could be done. I went to Auto 1 to get a quote for a repair. The sales person that helped me on 3/23/25 Sunday was wonderful (I wish I would've grabbed his name). He talked me through the whole process and gave my car to the mechanic for diagnosis. The repair was more costly than I had expected, but they were reasonable (since a dealership would've doubled that price easily). He understood I was concerned since I had to decide whether to invest the money to repair an old car or sell it. He convinced me that I should keep it because he explained newer cars will have more expensive repairs and they don't make cars like they used to (and he's right). He even went out of his way to call his parts vendor to see what they could do on the price for parts and let the mechanic show me where the damage was so I can see for myself. The effort the sales person put into building my trust as a new customer was fantastic. I went ahead with the repairs and they were able to get it done the same day. I am now very happy with the results. Thank you to Wahid, the mechanic who did an excellent job at fixing my car. Now it drives better than ever and added at least another 5+ years of life. I had a great experience with Auto 1 Service Center in Fremont recently and could not be happier! I was out running errands when my car wouldn't start. They were the nearest shop, so I called them up and described how my car wouldn't start and asked if I could have it towed in. Since I was just down the road, the proprieter offered to drive over and diagnose the issue. He brought a technician and a jumpstart device which got my car started. Then they checked the voltage and confirmed the battery needed replacing. Since my car had been started, I was able to drive directly over, saving an expensive tow. Then when the local battery supplier estimated a few hours delivery time, the proprieter drove over there himself and brought the replacement back, saving me a ton of time. The technicians replaced my battery quickly while I waited in the air conditioned office. All said and done it was only about an hour between first calling Auto 1 and leaving with a new battery. I was saved both an expensive tow, and a long wait for the replacement. What could have easily ruined my whole Saturday was reduced to a minor inconvenience. Highly recommend this place for professionalism and truly above and beyond exceptional service! read more

I went in for a diagnostic on my A/C not working. After review the technician came back to me with an estimate for labor and parts at $1300, mostly because of the cost of the part, the AC control unit. They asked if I wanted to move forward with the repair. I reluctantly agreed. They said the part would arrive in a few days on Wednesday as they had to order from the dealer. The technician called me back on Tuesday, the day before the part was supposed to be delivered, and let me know he had a second technician take a second look and they were able to resolve the issue without changing the part by doing some maintenance and cleaning of various components in the AC system. My new bill was going down from $1300 to just over $700. Goes without saying, the honesty and transparency the mechanic has demonstrated is wonderful. I highly recommend them and will be going to them for any future service needs. read more
