My windshield got hit by a rock yesterday which put a spur in my windshield, right in front of my eyesight view. I put in the request for windshield repairs on Yelp and received several responses immediately. The first 2 places both had very high ratings and decent prices. I decided to go with Top Auto Glass, mainly because he was a mobile unit. Zabi gave me a 2 hrs timeframe and kept me updated until he arrived, which was well within the time quoted. Zabi explained in detail the risks of the repairs, he was honest and explain that 5-10% of windshields may crack, but i knew it was a risk I was willing to take!!! I'm so grateful I did!!!! Zabi did an awesome job that I couldn't find it when I first look, he had to finally point it out to me!!! ALL I can say is that the work was awesome and now I don't have any spots in my eye view anymore and that was the main thing!! I hired Zabi to fix my rear passenger window that this past Sunday I discovered was down and would not roll up, but all other electric windows in the car worked fine. I tried grabbing the two inches of the window that still were up, and pulled up, the window moved but then a loud pop and sound of something falling to the bottom inside the door. Zabi by text said he suspected a failed regulator, asked me for the VIN# so he could bring the right part for my car. Zabi kept me updated as to his ETA, and he answered all my questions, so I then went back in my house to continue working. Zabi rang doorbell a few minutes later after he had taken the door apart to show me the failed part - which showed cheap plastic pieces of the regulator had shattered, which explained what I heard. I was so pleased and happy that Zabi showed me the failed part, sadly too often today, some businesses are not honest or trustworthy. Zabi never charged more than he quoted on our Yelp texts communication AND the replacement regulator has a "lifetime warranty". Amazing service and highly recommend. I requested a quote and he responded very quickly. The price was very competitive for a chip repair. He came to our home to do it and it took maybe 20 minutes or less. Very professional. He also was able to squeeze us in next day, despite a late in the evening reach out. He checked out the chip and shared there was a 5-10% chance that the crack might spread / not be repairable because it had 2 point of contact. Given the small percentage, we decided to go forward. I also really appreciated that if it did spread, he said the cost of the repair would be able to just go towards a windshield replacement - which was peaceful that they offered that service as well. The chip repair was $75 and to replace could range from $350-$550 depending on the brand and all the specifics so we definitely thought it was worth the chances to repair. I really appreciated the honesty up front (after all, how can you really guarantee it'd repair perfectly even with thousands of precious repairs). We'll definitely go back if we need services in the future (you just never know with all these dang rocks and things that fly while driving).
