From the check-in staff of Danielle and AJ, to Jimmy my service advisor, to Tre the wonderful guy that runs customer transport they were ALL so teriffic! I had a door dent on a crease that was no doubt obvious to see, but hard to get to. I was told up front that a simple dent pull may not make it 100%, but it DID! Well, that and some extra work. I received timely text updates throughout the two day service period. And when it was finished, Jimmy called to ask if I wanted to see it before putting things back together. I couldn't have been more pleased and satisfied! Tre was so wonderful in taking me home when I dropped off the Explorer, and then offered to return when finished. I got a ride to pick it up. And Tre made sure it was clean (spotless) for me, inside and out!!? It looked better than when I bought it 3 weeks earlier! Thank you Great Plains! You all are incredible, incredible people!

I paid my deductible when I picked up my car. Not sure why, but when my insurance company settled up with the shop, they also paid the deductible. I was notified by my insurance company that the deductible had been paid twice and that the shop should refund the deductible that I paid. Well, that was 4 1/2 months ago and about 20 phone calls later. I have yet to receive the money owed to me. The shop says they are now "corporate" and that the claim is with their accounting department. Again, it has been 4 1/2 months... No one ever answers the phone at the corporate office (which is in Arizona). No one ever returns calls / messages - I have left over 10. I am now paying an attorney to write a demand letter... They also made sure I was comfortable while I waited for Enterprise Rental to come meet me. I was kept up-to-date on the progress of my car either by phone call or text. And they finished on time!! However, I must admit that the actual service failed to live up to this billing in any way shape or form. I went there to get an estimate on some body damage on my bumper. The woman working there informed I would need an entirely new bumper for some relatively minor damage, and I thought this was odd given three body shops in town had told me it was clearly repairable without replacement. She gave me an estimate that is literally 68 percent higher than that I received at two other Omaha body shops. When i told her that, she said, 'Well you better get in line there as fast as you can then,' and 'We couldn't even paint it for that.' To me, this is a blatant admission that you charge much more than other and are more than willing to admit to their potential customers before sending them out the door. I just don't understand that business strategy. To top it off, this woman was extremely rude and seemed like she could take or leave my business. With so many other body shops in Omaha, you'd think they'd want to acquire more clients by treating them nicely, but obviously this is not a priority of West Omaha Auto Body. The reviews are good (at least four of them) on Yelp, but I've since been told endless horror stories about dealing with them when I went to find a better price and a business that cared about my needs. I would urge you to seriously consider your options wholeheartedly when considering using West Omaha Auto Body. I don't want to be treated like my money and car doesn't matter, nor do I want other patrons to be given the same treatment.
