Chris took pictures to show me the hidden damage, and explained the procedure for eliminating the rust and rebuilding the metal. I really liked the communication throughout, and being my son's daily driver, we appreciated that they didn't have us bring it in until they were able to start the work (which ended up being the day after I called) and got it done quickly considering the unexpected damage. Chris also recommended a process for covering up the rebuilt area to avoid having to paint and blend the entire roof...being really particular about my vehicles, I was skeptical at first, but I have to admit it looks great, blends in nicely and saved me hundreds of dollars. Will definitely hire them next time.

They quickly made an appointment with me and we went over the issues with my vehicle. They promptly assessed the damage, ordered parts, and fixed my front bumper. They also fixed any cosmetic issues and did an alignment. I'd say my car looks better now than it did before the accident!! They were very friendly and helpful, and always kept in contact with me, updating every step of the way. I was able to pick my car up after hours, which was convenient. I was given an itemized receipt, which showed exactly what they did and what parts were needed. There was a lot of work done but the bill was very reasonable.

I put in a claim right away and Dingman's was my first choice to call since they've been around a long time and have a good reputation. They were of course very busy and backed up but I did get an appt for about 2 months later. My vehicle was in the shop for about a month but they were very good about keeping me updated and working with my insurance company. The estimate ended up being higher than anticipated once they got in and started working on it but they handled all the details with the insurance so I didn't have to - all I paid was my deductible as expected. To make a long story short, Tires Plus, on 132nd and Maple told me this Ford Escape of my daughter's which I had just spent a bunch of $$ at Tires Plus to put a new AC compressor in and recharge a few weeks ago now needed more work. But, when we tried the AC on warm days and even the day after leaving the place the first time after the repair it was not throwing any cold or even cool air out. When I took it back in, assuming it was under warranty from 3 weeks before, they said it now needed a new evaporator coil. The cost? $1600. I took the car back and took it to Kurt at Acme. He and his mechanics checked out the whole AC system to find out it was only a fuse and now the AC is working great and Acme did that at minimal cost. I will keep bringing my cars to Acme.
