At no point was I "thoroughly explained" that the service I was receiving would result in lower-quality work because of the price (no I didn't refuse any first quote, I actually paid more than the original offer for oem paint) In fact, they were the ones encouraging me to move forward with the project while I already had other work being done on the car. They also claim they repaired dents and body damage at no cost. That's misleading. I specifically asked whether the dings around the vehicle would cost extra because I was willing to pay for them, and I was told they would take care of them. That was their decision, not something I requested for free. As for the warranty, I was originally told there was a 5-year warranty on the work. However, after bringing the car back shortly after pickup to address issues I wasn't satisfied with, I was later told the warranty was no longer valid. Now the response claims it was only a 2-year warranty, which is not what I was told. The problem has never been about money. The problem is the quality of the work and the lack of accountability afterward. If a shop offers a service and accepts a job, they should stand behind the results instead of later claiming the customer didn't pay enough. Looking through other reviews, it seems like any negative feedback is met with an explanation of why the customer is at fault. I understand wanting to defend your business, but accountability goes a lot further than shifting blame. Written estimates, warranty terms, and expectations should be clearly documented to avoid situations like this in the future. This review is not about me trying to get my way or get a free paint job, this review is to save someone the headache of getting a bad paint job. I would never bring my car back here for any work, free or not.

As an African American woman, it can sometimes feel uncomfortable going into auto shops without much knowledge about vehicles. However, if you're looking for a reliable body shop where you won't feel intimidated or pressured, this is the place. The team is friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Ask for Mark--you won't regret it. I originally found Aramex Body Shop during heavy rain in Los Angeles when my Tesla needed repairs, and that experience alone made me a customer. Since then, I've now been back a total of three times, including twice last year after two separate accidents involving my Tesla Model Y. The first accident last year I was rear-end on the freeway by a speeding driver and the second involved a rear end by a drunk driver while I was a passenger. Both accidents were not my fault, which made the situation even more stressful, but Mark handled everything smoothly. During the second repair, there was some back-and-forth with my insurance (State Farm), and the adjuster was giving pushback. Mark handled everything professionally and made sure my vehicle was repaired properly with the correct Tesla parts. That level of attention and advocacy really stood out. At one point, I was even out of the country, and Mark kept me updated the entire time through text (which I prefer), along with phone calls when needed. Communication was always clear, consistent, and convenient. He handled the follow-ups and made sure everything stayed on track, which took a lot of stress off me. Every time I've picked up my car, it looked like it just came off the showroom floor--honestly even better than when I brought it in. Mark is professional, thorough, reliable, and truly cares about his customers. He even followed up after pickup to make sure everything was good. This review is definitely long overdue, but I can confidently say I highly recommend Aramex Body Shop. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I found LAX Body Shop on a Saturday and stopped in to see if they worked with insurance. The answer was immediately yes! Then, I asked if I could just get an estimate without dropping my car off for overnight. Yes again! AND.. he called a parts shop and secured the parts for my car that same day! I did a photo estimate with my insurance, then agreed to bring my car in on Monday for the estimate. They already had the parts ordered so I dropped the car off on Monday and they gave me a ride to work!! I can't say enough good things about this shop! The car would have been done in a week, but the insurance took longer to get the paperwork completed. The shop finished the work quickly, washed my car, and even polished up the other headlight cover!! The cost was exactly what the insurance approved- with the supplemental estimate from the shop- and the process was so smooth and everyone at the shop so friendly and helpful! I was going to bring my Infiniti here for repairs, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

To be safe, I sent the exact same photos to a few other body shops, and their estimates came back much lower. One shop estimated around $1,800 for repair and repaint based on the same pictures. That's a huge difference and made the first quote feel very inflated. I strongly recommend getting multiple estimates before committing to repairs here. Transparency and fair pricing matter, and customers deserve reasonable quotes.

I noticed the tech was efficient and pleasantly working which is always a plus. I definitely recommend this place for a smog test. It's not a STAR station which is fine as long as it's not required from DMV. I was on the road before 10am which was great because I needed to get my registration tags from DMV since they expired the next day. I was done within a couple of hours. Phew!‍

I normally don't write reviews but after my accident it's been a nightmare dealing with the Insurance Company & their preferred body shop. I wanted to share my experience. As a female, I was nervous to begin with and this was my first time dealing with body shops. I thought it would be a simple job, it's only a bumper. So when the insurance company sent me to their preferred bodyshop for an estimate. They said the parts were expensive and they claimed it exceeded the insurance's cap amount, they were about to total my car out. I was upset, I love my car so I did not want to loose it, I was furious & shocked as you can imagine by seeing the pictures I uploaded. it's only a bumper! I felt taken advantage of by the insurance company & their preferred body shop. I called my brother and he immediately referred me to "Auto Collision Team" where he's taken his car in the past. I spoke to Jose & he immediately took in my car, he figured out a way to fix my car & avoided losing my car over a bumper. Jose & his team kept great Communication throughout the process. After my prior experience, Auto Collision Team superseded my expectations. My car looks newer than when I first bought it... I literally just picked up my car. I'm impressed! Looks Amazing! I got in to an accident and I summit my car on August 2 and got it back August 20 the communication with the body shop was flawless giving me updates on the repairs and how fast was going i had a few questions trough the all process and all my questions were answered almost immediately the estimate time to deliver was August 25th but they clutch and delivered 5 days early 100% recommended Have in mind if the process is slow is because the insurance delay on responding to them, other than that 100% RECOMMENDED!!!!!!! read more

Jose and his team were absolutely fantastic! I was in a hit-and-run recently and have been dealing with a lot post getting hit. Getting my car fixed and back has been the easiest part! They were quick, got me a great deal on a rental, and worked with me and my insurance. I'm so thankful and can't recommend this place enough! They are incredibly helpful and did a beautiful job on the repair. Hopefully no more hit-and-runs for me, but if I ever have any car trouble in the future, I'll be going back here. read more

My experience with the Auto Collision Team was extremely easy and completed even earlier than the projected amount of time. I am 100 satisfied with the work done on my 2013 focus. I was reared ended and left with some pretty horrible damage but now my car looks like it came right off the new car lot. I am so grateful. During the process, I was sent videos of how the project was progressing, and I appreciated the good customer service. Restoring my car was a detailed and extensive project and took several weeks to complete. They even took the time to do an internet search to locate some of the hard to find parts needed, which was a challenge for a 33 year old vehicle. When they finished my car I was blown away with how great and beautiful it looked! The high quality of the body work and the new paint exceeded my expectations. They also replaced the window and door seals, painted the wheels, painted the door jams , inside the trunk, and cleaned the engine and engine compartment and replaced an interior light bulb. They even kindly fixed my turn signal lever, which was a pleasant unexpected surprise. They also nicely cleaned the interior and floor. Years ago I had had my car painted at a different place, but Perfect Auto Paint and Body did a far superior job. Victor and his skilled team are true professionals with decades of experience and I really appreciate the knowledgeable, careful and thorough work they did in restoring and painting my car. Beware of Kings Collision Center…read more My niece was involved in a car accident around 4:00 a.m. Before we even had a chance to decide what to do, representatives from Kings Collision Center showed up at the scene. When I arrived, they were already cleaning up the broken glass and preparing to hook her car to their tow truck. While my niece was on the phone with her insurance company, they advised her to have the vehicle towed home. We informed Kings Collision of that decision, and they towed the car to her home, which was only about 2 1/2 blocks away. After the tow, we were told the charge was $350. At no point before towing the vehicle were we given a price or asked to approve the cost. When I questioned the amount, I was told part of the charge was for cleaning up the glass. I explained that customers should be quoted the price before any work is performed. The driver responded that I should have had the work done at their shop. Based on that response and the unusually high charge for such a short tow, I believe we were price-gouged because we chose not to use their auto body shop. I ultimately paid because they would not release my niece's vehicle until payment was made. When I asked to pay with a credit card, I was told they accepted cash only. Since it was 4:00 a.m., I didn't have that amount of cash available. I then offered an emergency credit card, but they again refused. We eventually ended up sending the payment through a Cash App account belonging to a woman the driver contacted on his phone. After paying, I asked for a receipt or proof of payment and was told I couldn't get one. The lack of upfront pricing, what I believe was an excessive charge for a tow of only a couple of blocks, the cash-only demand, the payment through someone else's Cash App account, and the refusal to provide a receipt all raised serious concerns for me. I strongly encourage anyone involved in an accident to contact their insurance company first, know your towing rights, and avoid authorizing any tow until you've been given a clear price in writing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business.
