He was responsive from the beginning, answered all my questions, and even noticed an inrelated issue with my tire when he was performing the body inspection. He was communicative throughout the entire process and gave a clear timeline. They actually finished the work several days before his original estimate. When I had a bit of a scheduling snafu, he went out of his way to make sure the car ready by a certain time, and it looks like new. Having to deal with damamge to my car is stressful situtation. I once gave this place a great review years ago when they had a different staff working there but things have changed. Go here if you want to have to bring your car back 5 times after repair--they didn't align headlights or check alignment (after telling me on the phone they would) and then the list went on and on where the customer was always wrong: They seem more concerned with making sure you give them a good review before your car is returned than actually fixing your vehicle. Their prices are pretty high, they take longer than they say and they don't keep you updated on anything going on. I don't recommend them. read more

I definitely recommend this place to get your car fixed ! Very professional and on time. I got side swiped as you can see in the first picture. They fixed the two doors , painted the area , replaced the scratched rims and left my car as good as new. I spoke with Manny about how I was concerned you would see the paint difference and he assured me it would look as if nothing ever happened to it. He was right ! I didn't have much of a choice in body shops, as Mercury Insurance only provided me with two options when I was rear ended by one of their clients. But just a warning: this shop does a horrendous job of applying paint. Not even 6 months after having my rear bumper replaced and painted with what I was told was an exact factory paint match, the coating and paint has already begun to peel off, and the color is nowhere near the same as the factory paint. Please learn from my mistake and research a little bit more before choosing a body shop. Quality work does not come out of this business. read more

Seriously, people in Los Angeles need to STOP HITTING MY CAR! I was here a few months when my neighbor decided to sideswipe my car while parking then pretend it wasn't her. Um, honey... there's a matching scratch on the front bumper of your car. With loose paint on it. That matches mine. Exactly 21.5" from ground level. You really shouldn't consider going into criminal defense law. I actually made an appointment elsewhere, and took my car in on a Thursday morning, before I left for a long weekend, so that I could pick it up Tuesday morning when I returned. Except that when I dropped it off that Thursday, they said they forgot to mention that they were closed for the holiday weekend and that they wouldn't get started until Tuesday morning, and they'd have it for me by the end of the following week. I can't even begin to tell you how annoyed I was with them. I left, vowing never to return. That's when I called my insurance adjuster and asked him for the name of their recommended shop, again. It was Custom Auto Craft. Dropped off the car on a Wednesday, drove home Friday afternoon, right as rain. That's all I wanted. A painless repair on my door. Well, and for my neighbor to disappear never to be seen again. But I can't hold it against a shop for not having good mob connections. Perhaps I need to move to Chicago. Two weeks later, sitting still in traffic, WHAM! Knocked from behind, at a red light, into the car in front of me. Both very large SUVs driven by very small women. Just sayin'. I got to work 30 minutes after the accident, called in the claim, called Custom Auto Craft, and they sent someone to deliver a rental car to me and pick up my Mini Cooper and return it to its second home... Gotta like that. Rear-ended at 8:20am and by 10:30am my rental car was in the faculty parking lot and my Mini was already en route to be repaired. So last night my neighbor (new one this time) was parked way over her line, and I had to squeeze my NEW car into the compact spot I was assigned (as a Mini Cooper owner) and I nudged the concrete pillar. Note to self: Apparently I can survive a blood pressure spike of 500% and should have become an astronaut. I took my new car into Custom, and they said they'd buff it out for me for free on Monday, see if they can minimize the scratching, since I'm a regular. Not that I'm excited to be the "Norm on Cheers" of a body shop, but good to know that repeat customers are well-treated. Four stars instead of five because to be fair, I have to see how both cars look when they're all finished. Happy to upgrade if everything looks great when they're done... do me right, boys. So if you're worried, then park your vehicle in the street for 5 minutes if they are busy. From a skilled standpoint, these guys are money! Their customer service and communication is always flawless. From friendly Lucy who is always so pleasant and informative, to Ed who handled my recent claim. And of course the legendary owner, Sergio!!! The nicest and fairest man you'll meet in the LA body shop world. I've been coming here ever since I moved to LA. In all fairness to me, I've been in 2 accidents (both not my fault), had my car vandalized/keyed, and been the victim of a parked car hit and run!
