Worse Experience!!! Dealership did a bait and switch (car shown on website, different than what's on dealer lot). Also, deceptive ONLINE PRICING for NAIDA certified vehicles (see symbol on dealer website). All cars with this signature "Add $4,000" to online cost of vehicle. Example: Online cost $40K plus $4K for NAIDA (appears mandatory) for a total cost of $44K for vehicle. As I haggled with salesman, person stated if I declined the cost of would be $43K ($1K reduction). This is deceptive as this certification or extra cost needs to be explained to represent the "TRUE COST" of vehicle. You better off going somewhere else. This is why car sit on their lot. This certification overlays many of the original manufactures preexisting warranties therefore Useless!! read more

I found a listing on Cargurus from this so called auto expo. The car looked great in all the pics and the price was great. I inquired about the car and was texted and e mailed to set up an appointment. I texted with someone to go look at the car. I told them I would be there by 5:00pm and the response was "I will be in the parking lot with your car don't be late haha". I get there at 4:30pm and met with a salesperson and I asked about the car and wast told that it was not on that lot and he would find out. After one phone call he said that he needed to call his boss and proceeds to call him and gets up from his desk and walks away. He then informs me that the car was sent to Bmw to be certified and have a complete inspection and service and the car is not there. I could not believe what he was telling me. He said they sent the car to Rallye motors to be certified... I do not tell everyone up front that I am a master tech and know the game. First off why would you list a car that was not serviced or 'Certified" which in any rational thinking would make the car more valuable. But the spoiler is Bmw does not certify cars over 7 years old or over 60,000 miles. The dealership may say that "They certify it". But not Bmw themselves. I took the liberty of going over to Rallye to see if the car was there and after them searching for it said that it was towed in and the shop was locked and I could not see it. Well he did not lie about the car being at the dealer. But why on the day I was scheduled to see it and no text or phone call to tell me "Hey we need to reschedule " because the car is not ready or something clever. And as I type this my phone rings and the girl on the other end tells me "I am so and so from Auto Expo in Great neck and I see here you missed your appointment". Ha are you kidding me. Maybe these clowns have sold some worthy cars here and there, but for the most part are a bunch of liars and could not give a shit about you, they just move on to the next person. First day was told only one hard pull on my credit they made 7 hard pulls on my credit and my credit was good .Secondly they didnt take my autorizarion before changing my bank . Me and my husband have gone their personally 3-4 times they make you wait the other staff is rude . The advisor who sold the car to me already left the place . Every week they tell me 2 days you will get your plate and car registered nothing still . The staff is extermely rude and they dont even return your phone calls or voicemails . Very happy with my purchase at Auto Expo. My salesman was Max and he was great. I purchased a 2017 Mercedes-benz GLE. I was nervous about buying a car from a used car dealer so I asked if I could bring it to my mechanic to make sure everything was ok. They told me it was a very good car and everything was good on it which set my mind at ease. After going to the dealership after the mechanic Max helped me with everything. I would definitely recommend this dealer. I almost purchased one from another dealer but when I took that one to the mechanic it had a lot of issues. Max made the whole process painless. I was not pleased with my experience 8/30/2020 at Auto Expo. I was approved for an auto loan and was under the impression the vehicle of my choice would be reserved for me. I informed staff that morning I was traveling from Delaware to purchase this vehicle. When I arrived the vehicle was being sold and in closing with another customer. Staff did not inform me of this initially, I was showed the vehicle as well as other vehicles led back to the sales desk under the impression I was going to complete the next steps only for the sales person to return with the "head of finance" to inform us the vehicle was being sold because the other person arrived before us. This "head of finance" was very combative and arrogant. He said we needed to put down a deposit, staff did not share that with us as we were in contact with them while in route. I was very disappointed in the way the situation was handled. Staff lacks compassion and customer service skills. In addition the receptionist was not wearing mask, while Covid-19 numbers are rising. When I arrived at the office I said a polite Good morning but didn't receive one back, the guy was just continuing looking at the computer as if I was not there until I said i had an appointment and he responded with okay I will be helping you. I was told a 2017 BMW 430I with white exterior and red interior was available for 23k. I got to the dealership and was told we have it somebody will be with you. I WAITED over an hour with no one helping me. I went to the front desk and was told I'm next. That turned into an EXTRA hour waiting. This is NO EXAGGERATION at all. He then looks and tells me WE DONT HAVE THAT VEHICLE but we have TWO OTHER VEHICLES with the...wait for it...SAME YEAR, SAME MILEAGE, SAME EXTERIOR, SAME INTERIOR for $4k MORE than what was ADVERTISED. I've never been to a dealership where they have not ONE not TWO but THREE identical cars even down to the mileage. I'm pretty sure they had IDENTICAL SCRATCHES also. He asked me if I wanted it for 4k more didn't even offer to negotiate. I look younger than I am but don't think you going to pull shady business on a young black man. They post the vehicle for a LESSER VALUE so they can bring you in and throw a HIGHER PRICE on you hoping you would cave because it's the car you want. Ok let's start here for anybody, thinking of purchasing , Financing or Leasing a Vehicle from this specific Location. You might not have a Pleasant experience. This was my first vehicle ever purchased and auto expo have made things confusing and traumatic for me . Im only explaining my personal experience I went to auto expo June 6 and got a repo supposedly due to failure of payments . On August 5 , When by law in Newyork you have to leave the car lot with first month car note and first months insurance I got my auto loan processed and felt like finally ! I made it I got my car . They called me in after i apply online I arrive at the dealership I pay a 150-300 deposit upfront which they don't tell you before you come to the dealership for a credit check -Fine again I'm purchasing my first vehicle at 24 and yess I have parents but they couldn't be present, anyway , I wait until about 11:00-5:00 he calls me in to tell me I got approved by a bank called Westlake Financial services That's great right I count 3,000 which I withdrew prior for a video because I'm a artist and he tells me I gave him 3,000 , He confirms with me that he sets up my direct deposits and I was good to go , my 2018 Benz also had dead car batteries in my car keys , when I pulled off but I didn't notice and because I'm an artist I couldn't just swing back , After my loan was processed I setup direct deposits with my loan company weeks later I get terms that I'm late on a my payments , but not by the bank , I got contacted by the dealership two months about a late payment . I know I setup automatic payments several times for a bank called Westlake Financial services. Westlake Financial Services sent me two forms of late payments stating I owed 1,124.82 8/18/2020 , again I purchased my vehicle 6/18/2020 which was considered a late payment, I called on 8/5/2020 and my payment was 640.84 he said the extra 44$ was for late fees if I was late on payments for two month why would that be my outstanding balance for 8/18/2020 640 if my car note alone is 596.01 wouldn't I have to pay . At this point I have to get my parents involved because the auto company supposedly brought back the car in a two month time spend and have yet to send repo papers to my father who is a business owner and a lawyer , My father has been in contact with him for two days ! And Ronnie is usually very fast with responses but he has yet to send repo paperwork which should be a 1.5 email to send but shouldn't even be sent by him , because I'm no longer supposed to be doing business with the auto company if I'm in repo mode ! They haven't sent any statements saying what I owe on the car , Westlake Financial services willl hang up on you several times and ask me to setup automatic payments several times to pull a repo PSA just be careful and I also something isn't right about this company . And this is my personal experience I also had to ask the sells man for my car paperwork several times and haven't received it until I had to download the files that I requested from Westlake Financial services. It so much more but just be careful..... the positive reviews might be false When I look at things I gave him 3,000 I feel as through he took advantage of my age 23, and it being me first vehicle Westlake Financial Loan Service Company as well this was a terrible experience save your money and the extra court paperwork or having to prove you did everything to keep your dream car ! Hi I just bought a car two days ago it's a 2018 430 I BMW Mileage says $44,000 why don't I believe that?they told me that the payments were going to be $450a month then after I signed the contract they said the payments are going to be $650 and they said they were going to refund me a check for the difference and then if I don't get my credit score improved in three months that I could trade the car in because I cannot afford $650 a month I don't wanna live like this! This place is a JOKE. I bought a Mercedes ML350 and four months later I am still trying to fix it - from all the interior components that I was PROMISED they would replace - NOTHING. took my son here for his first car and i did my research first and told him this place has bad reviews but my son was persistent and said "dad what does it matter? as long as they sell me the car for that price i'm fine with it" i thought to myself "this will be a good learning experience for him" on our way there i was looking up other cars because i knew this deal was never going to happen. we get there and it's immediately a mess. the place was packed full of cars. barely any room to park. i don't get some of these dealerships. why don't you have a dedicated place for your customers to park? we wedge into a tight spot and walk inside. upon walking inside we were greeted by a polite young lady but we were startled by a husband and wife who were arguing with a salesman about the price advertised not being honored. yeah we're not off to a great start here. nonetheless we get matched with a guy named angelo and he takes us to see the car. the cars locked. he's like one sec while i get the keys, ok number 1: why don't you already have the keys if you knew what car we were looking at. 2: why is a car that's literally blocked in by 13 cars locked anyway? who's going to steal a car with all these cars in the way? 3: as a matter of fact. all the cars should be unlocked when the dealership opens and locked when they close. all their cars were new so all it would take is someone with the box of keys and 30 seconds to just click the unlock button on all the keys one by one and then someone to click the lock button on all the keys one by one at closing. when he got back he still didn't have the keys. he's like "i forgot what i was looking for" i'm like "umm the keys?" he's like "oh right, be right back" when he gets back he gives us the keys and we check out the car. i looked up the book value. 10-12k is what it's worth but i know dealers have to make money. they had it listed for 14,999. ok i said we'll take it. he said awesome let's go back to my office. we get to his desk and he said ok cash or finance? my son wanted to pay cash so i said cash please. he said oooh in that case it will cost you more. i said "i beg your pardon?" he said the prices we have listed online are financed prices. i said ok so what's the cash price? he said i don't know. let me go ask the boss. i said ok. he comes back and he said ok so cash will be 21k. umm excuse me? how did we just jump from 15 to 21? my son is shocked. he said we make more money by doing finance deals. ok well thank you anyway but we have to go. he said wait wait listen, if you finance it all you have to do is make one or two payments and then once we get our commission you can pay the whole loan off. we both win. i said look i'd rather just pay cash. it's a lot easier. he said then you will need to add some more money on top for us to be happy. i said ok (and other dealers in the area were selling this car for 17-19k so i said) how about we do 18k. that's 3k on top of the advertised price. that's plenty for you to keep the lights on while we still get a market price for the car. he said ok let me go tell my boss. my sons excited and just wants this to be over. he comes back and says sorry but 19 is as low as we can go. i said "then you are going to lose a deal over greed." we got up and left. it should be illegal to advertise a price that isn't accurate but such is life. do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere! read more

The idea of a used car salesman is anxiety provoking. That's why I figured I'd look into the car buying service from Kelley Blue Book. Unfortunately, they farm it out to local dealerships, and this one, or maybe the entire KBB car buying service is total bait and switch. I went on the KBB website to see my car's value--something I've done many times with previous vehicles. This time I saw they have an option to offer you money for your car. I figured KBB is reputable and I'd check it out. I completed all the info for my Jeep and was offered $28,800. I was then directed to go to an auto dealer to have the car checked out.(Auto Expo, 46 Northern Blvd, Great Neck,NY) My Jeep has 14,500 miles and is loaded with options. After leaving me waiting for 30 minutes, They finally looked at the car (for 5 min) and offered me $26,500. When I asked why the $2300 drop, the manager said it's due to "National pricing differences." As I told him that's total BS. I pointed out that actually, the original offer included a HIGHER premium for "regional differences." I'm sure they think if they can lure you in, then you'll turn your car over and let them rip you off. Stay away from Kelley Blue Book's cash offer. Stay away from Auto Expo. BTW, the very next day, I sold my car for $28,900 to Carvana. They even came and picked it up from my house. No hassle, they handed me a check for exactly what was promised. read more

I would give them 0 star if the option is available. I purchased my car here 6 weeks ago. I was promised to get my running boards installed and new tires replaced. The nightmare comes after purchasing the car. It took them about 3 weeks to order new tires for me. Before getting the tires replaced, I was told that The tires will be replaced to the same thing as whatever brand of tires the vihecle currently has. My vihecle has continental tires. And the store couldn't fulfill what they promised. They replaced them with firestone tires. And on the day to replace the tires. I dropped off my car at 9:00 in the morning on a Friday. Because they had to close at sunset, I was told to go and pick up my car around 3:40. Not from their store, but directly from the tire shop. And I waited 2 and half hours at the tire shop because they hadn't start working on my tires yet. I blame them false information Auto Expo provides. With the running boards, 6 weeks have been passed, my car is still without running boards now. Within this 6 weeks, they never followed up with me. They did not give me any updated information. I have to call them nonstop, and hoping them to pick up the phone. They also give you the same exact excuse. Until today, the excuse they are telling me that they don't know if "the guy" ordered my running boards or not. This is the worst place to go. If you treasure your time, avoid this place. read more
