Don't be duped by charm. My car was $14,400 and I put down $3800. With Mass taxes etc it should have totaled about $11,600, THE TOTAL was: $16,345! They added the cost of three warranties and a $700 doc fee without my awareness - $4600. They also spoke to Capital One, the lender, on 'my behalf' and was not given the opportunity to speak to them myself. I still have not received the extra keys which they didn't have on hand and it's been over a month. They told me I had to drive up to Peabody to get them because it would cost $70 to FedEx EX them. I trusted these guys because I chose to. I have a graduate degree, am well spoken and intelligent. If they could do this to me I worry for those who are more vulnerable, whose second language is English etc. They are in a huge rush bc they sell many cars a day. Do not let anyone rush you. Fortunately, Capital One will get me my money back. So if you've been screwed call your lender. I have not still not received the additional keys because sending them Fed Ex was going to cost $75. Nice. Also, I tried reaching them for four days but no one called me back UNTIL I wrote an unflattering Google review. They wanted to EXPLAIN the 'contacts'. STAY AWAY AWAY FROM THIS AUTO FACTORY OF AUCTION JUNK ALONG FROM THIS TRUCK. Me and my wife drove down from New Hampshire to check out this truck and why it's priced so greatly. We walked in the one and only salesman on duty finalizing a sale we mentioned to check out this truck. He handed us the keys gave us a speak mentioning they honoring repairing engines and transmissions and do a full service inspection only after sale complete. We took keys and looked at truck trying to inspect why priced so well. Truck had dead battery off the bat salesman came out and jumped it, went back in to continue sales. Truck looked great nothing showed a red flag besides the 45 minute wait to get to test drive it. While patiently waiting and once truck was fully warmed up decided to shift through gears. This is when the truck came out as the truck hard shifted and lunged forward when shifted in drive. Even my wife looked at me like that's a serious expensive mechanical transmission issue that was not disclosed. We continued to patiently wait to finalize assumption after a test drive. We were asked if we were paying cash or financing. Then told we can't test drive it unless I'm pre approved. Hard pull or not any dealership requiring a pre approval before a test drive major RED FLAG. Hopefully this helps someone stay away from this sketchy dealership and DONT NOT BUY THIS TRUCK. Day one was overall a good outcome. May 10, Saturday afternoon, I visited the dealer, checked out the unit, and spoke with the sales manager and salesman. They were nice. I was understanding because it's a Saturday. The funding financing office is closed early, so everything was fine. Monday. I got a call from the sales guy telling me congratulations. You have been approved for the vehicle that I was looking at. So, Monday afternoon after work, I made my way there, signed the documents, left a deposit, and no questions asked. The sales manager said you probably have your truck by Friday because it will go into service and processing. Now, this is where it starts to get aggravating and becomes a hassle. I'm giving a ton of stories. Why I'm not getting my truck Friday because, according to them, insurance is not authorizing them, but hence it's also still in line for service. So, then I'm told I might get my truck Saturday or Monday because it's in service. A little agitated, but no problem. The following Monday afternoon, I got a call so the truck is ready. Service has all been completed. It's ready to go, but we got the wrong taillight because we ordered the wrong one.(What day, age, do we live in? You guys ran a used car dealership nearly 12+ years between detour, cars, LLC, and auto factory, and you ordered the wrong tail light?) We have another one coming. You can take the truck in the meantime. Great, so I make my way down there and pick up the truck. Now a few days go by of ownership of the truck call is in end of Friday and make my way to the dealership replace no problem that Saturday not even a total of one week of ownership. The brakes on the truck were grinding metal to metal no, I have a family with children that ride in this vehicle The audacity of the dealerships general manager and owner claims that the vehicle has been serviced. Brakes and oil change has been checked that is a false claim the truck came from the auto auction just the way it was turned over to me. General manager tells me that he will call me on Monday because Saturday. Our service department is closed giving me the runaround Monday comes around. It's Memorial Day call asked to speak with Brian. Somehow I get transferred to the service department and speak to Nick(one of the owners) so I speak to a gentleman explain to him what's going on I'm told that I need to get a rejection sticker in order for them to replace the brakes on a vehicle that apparently has been serviced clearly it had not been serviced the more aggravating part is that I am told to go get a rejection sticker and then go to the dealership. They will replace the brakes and then go back to go get another inspection sticker first off if I purchased a vehicle from the very beginning where it was hence in service clearly was not because the week that they were waiting for was because they were trying to clear the finances on their end for the floorplan bad business they got more stories and Mother Goose and Walt Disney put together. Brian is the sales manager Nicholas and Michael are owners previous business name detour cars llc now Doing business as Auto factory. This was my mistake for taking the kindness of sales manager and sales person at the beigning, People do your research They aren't a BBB business with multiple complaints and chamber of commerce tons of 1 star reviews. Lots of fake google reviews huge red flag 1 -2 reviews per google account versus organic and authentic reviews I personally like giving small businesses good reviews to help them grow their business but these people do not deserve to be in business. Lesson learned after the fact I purchased this truck. Revised the audacity of this lousy reply from the business owner plain and simple you didn't service the car when you where suppose to all the photos speak for itself. worst dealership ever. took forever to release the car to me kept saying car still in service for a week. promise me new tires because the tires was warp shakes on highway. so they said they replace it with new tires. when it was time to pick up the car tire was never changed and I pointed it out they came out acting dumb and said that is new tires until I told them to feel the tires it still them old warped tires and he said they will make it right then we start to play phone tag back and forth for 2 weeks now the manager called me back saying he didn't know why the sales people promise me new tires when then don't offer that. so now he told me he willing to make it right and I have to buy my own tires and they will install for free which bull because tire install only cost 150 to do. so this dealer is nothing but a hassle and broken promise. read more

Place is absolutely horrible got my truck with a check engine light, a bad head light since the first day i picked it up, took almost 2 months for them to get it fix it. they're horrible with communication. Also told them before i bought the truck every dents and scratches that the truck had because the salesman never went to check our the truck with me and they totally ignored and they kept saying they were going to do something about it. when they fix my check engine light which was a sensor on the transmission a weird smell started coming from my engine bay and they wouldn't fix because they don't know what it is and told me to bring it to a mechanic , i don't know what type of technician they have working there read more

The people at this place seriously suck. The worse customer service I have ever had. Snake oil salesmen reside here foreal. They tell you to call when you need help, LIES. Not sure why they even have a phone. I don't know what happened after the pandemic, but the quality of people here are low grade. Apparently asking questions about your own car or lack of service means YOU are somehow harassing them. Talk about gaslighting. I'll trust a junkyard or FB marketplace before this gutter.
