I had used them before to repair a crack but knew this one would require a replacement. Jason gave me a quote for after market glass and also OEM. Because my BMW has heads up display and other safety features through the windshield he explained why I wanted OEM glass. Afterwards I did my own research and determined he was spot on. No pressure from Jason. He just let me know they were there when I was ready. Then I left town and it was an entire month before I got back to fixing my windshield. H&A is an approved provider through my insurance so the process was so easy. Within 30 minutes, Jason had the authorization from my insurance company for the replacement and calibration needed. Horatio called me and let me know he was on the way. He and Wilmer got right to work. In less than two hours they had my windshield replaced, did the calibration and drove it to make sure everything was functioning properly. They even were kind enough to move the sticker I need to get in our work parking lot from my old windshield to my new one. Horatio and Wilmer were both professional and efficient. He made the recommendation for me to use this company instead, and they sent out Bernard Cook (technician) within 24 hours. This company will come to to you for no extra charge, and repair your windshield for a reasonable price. I know I have used Safelite and in the past it as gone through insurance and I didn't want to keep doing that because my premiums are through the roof. So their quote of a $75 flat rate was so refreshing to see, as Safelite was $125 and I had to go there. Since I work from home right now due to COVID, I went with with Bernard and it was totally worth it. The entire process took 20 minutes. It's not perfect, but it is filled and with a lifetime guarantee- which is good enough for me. It was a STRONG strike from a stone, so I am just thankful that it wasn't worse. At 2:50 I texted to tell him I'm 15 mins away which would mean I would be 5 mins late than the appointment time. He first says he doesn't know who I am, what car etc... very short and rude. Then I explain and he says well you can come and I'll start on you after the car I have now. How did you give me an appointment at a time that you already had someone booked? My gut told me not to show up so I didn't go. Buyer beware.

Which..... it was opening and closing just fine before I brought it in. I asked the guy and he said "I don't work on latches" and that was the answer, he didn't take any responsibility to fix the issue or at least help me get into contact with corporate who could help me out. I then reached out the week after and spoke to someone who was going to escalate the case to upper management. They stated that they wanted to see my repair estimate for what I paid to have the latched fixed after they broke it. Which was over $1700. After speaking with them I was told somebody would reach back out to me so I waited for a call. Follow up two weeks later..... after they wanted to address this concern still nothing has been done. I had to follow up with them and spoke with Mark who did nothing but argue on the phone with me about how "this is a common problem with Jeep and Mercedes Benz vehicles we see it everyday" yet the latch still was not broken until they touched it, and if it is a known problem than maybe you're not equipped to work on those two makes of vehicles?? I had to take the car to jeep and have the latch replaced for $1700 and the master tech at Jeep informed me that this is a rare case and that those latches do not just break on their own after explaining the story to him. Most reputable companies want to keep customers coming back and correct their mistakes.... Had this been the case I would've proceeded with the repair and moved on because accidents do happen. However.... Due to the negligence and the unprofessional employees that I have spoken to on the phone almost a month later with no resolution, I have now decided to take legal action. I walked into the bay to see what I would be driving over and it was littered with enough broken glass that I could have filled a trash can. Counted over 20 -25 razor blades in the bay and in the area where you would pull in. I didn't pull in, I would have needed a new set of tires if I had. If they are that sloppy in the garage at 8am, I don't trust that they would be able to do quality work in that environment. I wouldn't feel safe putting air in an old bike here. Do better!
