My windshield was cracked from a rock and I needed it replaced, while insurance routed me to Safelite, they were terrible, and did not know how to deal with the calibration. I didn't realize you do not need to use safelite to have insurance cover the repair. I cannot recommend enough to call Superior and avoid safelite all together. They knew what they were doing, did it quickly and got it fixed. Insurance or not I would absolutely come back here again if I needed a repair. It's hard to find (tucked back in the middle of a warehouse complex), but don't let that dissuade you. It's fast, friendly service and it will be done correctly. Highly recommend.

On top of that, when I returned to Safelite, the replacement glass that came in was incorrect due to a manufacturer error. That said, I want to give credit where it's due. On my third visit, everything was finally ready, and Heather and Sean really stepped up. They made sure I didn't have to wait long and provided excellent customer service. They were professional, efficient, and clearly cared about getting things done right after all the earlier issues. Overall, the process was inconvenient, but the service at the end made a big difference. If the communication and parts ordering were smoother from the start, this would have easily been a 5-star experience.

I called and the lady that answered was extremely helpful she told me that the windshield wasn't in stock and she didn't know when it would be in, she said if I pay for the glass that I would be guaranteed glass when it came it. She was great it took a few months but kept emailing me with updates, the day she called to tell me it was it she said if I was there by 0800 she could get me in and out. She was rite I got there 0750 I gave my fob to a worker she told me 4 guys would get it done quick 0830 they were done I had to wait 20 minutes for the glue to dry. The tone was jovial and his fake anger appeared to be part of a regular dialogue between the two, but even that mock yelling was one-way, not a mutual "busting of chops". Sadly this behavior just reinforced the class divide that this particular racist manager (he may be the owner too?) thinks is okay to maintain with his employees. The admin/scheduler/office manager is also African-American and she heard the whole thing and said nothing. I guess these two black employees just have to 'grin and bear it' because they need the job? I recently moved to the area and wonder have I made a mistake relocating to Maryland...is flagrant racism tolerated in Glen Burnie? Hoping these two employees are able to find better work somewhere else ASAP. The window technician did a superb job on our windshield and the woman behind the counter was exceptional in her efficiency and customer service focus. Recommend you take your auto glass business elsewhere--plenty of shops in the area that are not run by racists.
