I called up Auto Glass Mobile as they had flexible business hours and were able to work with me on the weekend to get my car glass installed. The person who answered was knowledgeable and transparent, setting me up for an appointment with my requested hours of early morning on a Sunday. Mel was the technician who showed up (drove to me and then drove some more to the top of a parking structure) and got my old glass removed and new glass installed. The technician was very approachable and experienced, and the entire process took less than an hour. The install itself was excellent with no issues from glass alignment or adhesion of glass to my car. Prices were excellent compared to the multiple quotes I requested in the SGV area for a mobile service, especially one that could drive to me at my requested time. Car window shattered but still intact. Called and all they asked for was VIN number. Quoted me $250. Came to my location. Was very polite though phone. So many numbers were contacting me. A total of three. The cell hone number of the owner, office number and the man who was coming out to fix my window. Works fine. BUT you do get what you pay for. Professional? Not here. Not at all. Crude comments made left and right. Cursing at every single thing they had to do to fix your problem. Four people came, a total of one person did 90% of the job. The rest were there to bother him and mess around with him. At one point they made a suicide joke because a razor blade was needed. Calling their equipment garbage constantly. It was hard to identify who was even in charge. Although they do have a warranty.... I did not feel at ease seeing them work on my car. read more

That was huge especially for my situation, I was traveling down to SoCal from the Bay Area for a cruise and my windshield got damaged in the evening on the way down.
