Talked to some nice people on the phone, and got my appointment booked at a price I can live with. It was for a windshield replacement and calibration. I made arrangements with my work to be late, dropped my car off, and got an uber to work. I get a phone call from a lady saying she's been trying to get ahold of me all day (sometimes I don't get reception in certain spots at my job, but I was listening to podcasts all day, and receiving texts and calls from other people, so I don't know if she did or not). She then tells me my glass didn't come in today. Ok, what day will it come in? She says ummmm tomorrow? I then ask if I can leave my car in their shop overnight and just pick up tomorrow. She then informs me she just found out that they can't do the calibration at that location either. It would seem that Overland Park location is the only location that can do anything. I have already missed 2 1/2 hrs of work, took a $12 uber ride, I do not want to have to make more arrangements for during my work week (not open weekends) to drive even further away, after already getting jerked around like this. I don't know if it's booking that needs more information when booking appointments, or where the miscommunication is here, but this is not ok! read more

I can't really comment on ths company's service since they did not install my windshield. My wife called them last evening and was told that they had the windshield and that if I showed at 8am I shouldn't have to wait. The guy at the desk told me that they in fact did NOT have the windshield but that it would be there in an hour. I called in an hour and was told that it would be there "any minute". That was 2 hours ago. I now plan to schedule an appointment with SafeLight, with whom I've had more reliable service. I drove into town to try this place. Nothing like wasting 3+ hours. So, if they say they have your windshield "there" you might should inquire how there it is. read more

I got excellent, next day service at my home for windshield replacement at literally half the cost of some of the others. They didn't try to upsell on wipers or other products. Called this morning and got a quote from Russ. They were at least a couple HUNDRED dollars cheaper than everyone else I called around KC. Same day as quoted- they had my windshield in the shop within a couple of hours, and then was able to fit me this afternoon, even two hours before originally scheduled. They were all so nice and personable. Only waited just over 30 minutes and my wrangler was back to brand new! Windshield has the OEM Mopar/Chrysler stamp and the Willy's Jeep logo in the corner. Do not go here. They attempted to repair my fj cruiser windshield and I had to return three times due to the same piece flying off the car. On the third attempt I even bought new Toyota parts in case it was because they were using cheap parts and they refused to install saying that they couldn't warranty the parts. The regional manager bob kimball promised to refund me so I spent $400 getting it repaired correctly only to find out that he was lying to me. Avoid this business like the plague. I needed the back window replaced in my old truck. They replaced it for half the price the others charged. They emailed me the price. I accepted there offer. They never tried to upsell me anything. The did a great job installing my window and did it very quick. I sat in the office while the work was being done and they dont play games with people. They treat everyone equally nice. DO NOT GOT TO THIS PLACE Dropped it off said it would be done by 10am. I call and they said that the car had broken into and stuff stolen + ignition jammed with screwdriver and completely destroyed. Then they never even fix the window cause they say there "busy" I'm there for hours upon hours and they never reimbursed me for break in. Claudia (& Jenny) over the phone were very professional and very accommodating... but that changed upon arriving for service. I called for a rear quarter window on an F-150 to be replaced the Friday before Christmas and Claudia was very kind in trying to get us a new window before Christmas!! Unfortunately the specific window needed wouldn't be available until Tuesday after Christmas (unless we wanted a non-tinted window). It was our choice to wait, and we scheduled install for Tuesday! Arrive on Tuesday ahead of our scheduled appointment, removed tape from the busted out window to save the employees some headache, waited patiently... After they pulled the truck into their shop they quickly realized they had ordered the incorrect window for the truck. While it was disappointing, it was not THAT big of a deal. Mistakes happen, and we very well would have returned once the new window was available at the shop! (The window had been shattered in place for 6+ months, but was busted out the Friday I called. What's a few more days of waiting for the correct window?!) The issue came when the blame game started!! Rewind to Friday, Claudia clearly asked me if the rear window "opened", and I clearly stated that it did "NOT" open. The window that was ordered "opened" and would not fit the truck. Apparently this quickly turned into, "you don't even know what truck you own" and "you gave us the wrong information"!? After notes/paperwork had been reviewed, they had the CORRECT information... but THEY ordered the WRONG window!!! Needless to say after the attitudes from the employees and pointing fingers in the wrong direction, my boyfriend left without getting his window fixed. read more

Put in windshield that cracked on the driver side in less than 14 hours. Took it back and was told that is not cracked it is just a scratch. Wow! must think I am stupid. Anyway they were real rude about me coming back to have it replaced. Instead they said we will give you some free stuff. A card to get 1 chip in a windshield fixed and wiper blades. Well the card is useless for me because I will never go back there for any service. Took photos of the crack that they called a scratch so when it expands then I will ask them how does a scratch expand. I am sure they will come up with some excuse. read more

I was told up front that they are a first come, first serve establishment, so I figured there would be a little bit of a wait. I checked in to get a chip in my windshield repaired around 1130. Sat for a bit, left for a bit and then came back around 230-ish, at which point my car still hadn't been looked at. Someone came in from the shop, asked the person at the front desk who'd been there the longest, she pointed at me, and they got right to work on it. I was out of there about 30 minutes later. The cost to fix it was much less than places closer to me, however, I'm not sure that offset being there that long. If you've got time to kill, and live nearby, I say go for it. Or your best bet is to be there first thing to get on the list. read more

It honestly wasn't the best place I've been to for a windshield repair. They are a super small shop so I think they have a hard time keeping up with all the business. You get what you pay for. Place advertises 50% off. Was about 50% less then Safelite. Paid $220 for a windshield on a 2016 Mazda. Took the paint off down to the metal on one corner, scratched the paint all along one side of window. Got some kind of black glue stain on the leather seat. Didn't attach the rain sensor right, didn't work. Removed and didn't replace the trim concealing the wire from the rear view mirror to the headliner. Now I got a wire hanging. Pointed out the paint. Guy comes out with a paint stick and dabs it on I. The rain. Says it will take care of it. Ridiculous. Cost more to perform the post replacement repairs then the windshield costs. How do you provide service below all competitors cost? Normal way, low cost materials and labor. This place has it. In this case, low cost is low value. For me, no value at all. This shop is new in my neighborhood and I had been procrastinating about replacing the windshield but I stopped in one Saturday, they had the windshield I needed at a fantastic price and were happy to accommodate my unusual schedule. The installation was clean and professional, It's been a month and I have found no leaks or extra goo around the glass. It was half the price of my closest estimate at the well-known retailers. They came out as promised and tech was prompt and pleasant. when I discovered a few days later that they had failed to connect my rear window defrost they would not stand by their installation. They said I could come to independence to their office. They came to me, they screwed up and they should come back out a finish what they started. My mom and I got our windows fixed here. On my car when they put the door back together the leather was wrinkled around the handle and screw cover were missing when I pointed it out they said it probably happened when the people broke into my car....I knew it was not like this before I took it up....they also put my window in "shiesty" according to subaru and would not roll up correctly so had to order a new window. Subaru said they were welcome to call and talk to them about it. Of course they blamed it on subaru and would not give my money back or pay for the new window, so I was just out 176 dollars. As for my mom's car her window rolls up not as super smooth as before and they left all the broken glass in her door so some falls out of the bottom and you can here it when you shut her door. She called and asked them to remove it they would not. It's definitely worth it to pay another $100 for honesty and good work. read more

Cracked windshield on Labor Day. Called and was set up for an appointment for the following day. I was told to be there by 5pm so I left work early to beat traffic. I arrived at 4:15pm and checked in with lady in office. I handedover my keys and had a seat. I expected for them to not get to me before 5 because I was early however there were several walk ins taken care of before me. I waited patiently. At 6:15 the receptionist tells me that I wasn't supposed to be there until the following day and that they didn't have the glass for my vehicle in. They had already taken my windshield out and thrown it away. I asked get how could my appointment be tomorrow when toy checked my appointment on the computer when I came in. She said she didn't look at the date. Meanwhile she tells me the windshield delivery should be I the way. I continued to beer patient but it's running out at this point because it's about to rain and they Have my car sitting in the lot with the windshield out. Finally the replacement arrives at 6:45 and I leave the place at 7pm sharp. Almost 3 hours of sitting when all she had to do was tell me my windshield want in and I could have come back the following day. The guys there were having a good time singing and on their cell phones instead caring forthe customers. I should have used safelite. I got the service I played for. read more

We were traveling from Florida to Idaho and had stopped at a motel in Independence MO for the night. When we came out the next morning, the drivers window of our truck had been smashed in. My first call was to Auto Glass Now where I spoke with Roy. I explained my situation and asked for a quote and if he could get it done in the morning. Quote was given but he told me that it wouldn't be done until after noon due to that being their delivery time. I was going to call other places to try and get it done quicker as we were wanting to get back on the road. Roy then offered to have one of his guys go pick up the window. Needless to say, I made no other calls! We took our truck over there, he got us right in and replaced the shattered window and also called our insurance company with us to get a divot in the windshield fixed at the same time. You get what you pay for!!! As I am on a fixed income, I was thrilled to find "affordable" auto glass services. My windshield was installed on a Saturday morning, and, at the time, I was pleased with the treatment and service. Three days later, on Wednesday, the windshield cracked! The crack started in the top middle and ended up being over 14 inches long. I know that nothing hit my windshield, as I drove the car very little and would have known if the window had been hit! When I called to inform the manager, he warned me that if he felt something had hit the window, he would not replace the windshield without charging me again. He also stated at that time that he "did not want any argument when I came in, if he felt that something had hit my windshield. When I arrived there the following Sat., he looked and then insisted that the window had been hit by a rock. He was extremely rude to me and my friend who was with me!! Insisted he would charge me again, because he was out the money for the glass. No way would he listen to me or offer any other solution. (Great Customer Service) My friend and I were both shocked with how disrespectfully I was treated, and I left with a larger crack in my windshield than the one I originally had replaced!!!!
