I called All Star Glass back in September 2023 to have my windshield replaced as there was a crack from an incident on the freeway. After following up multiple times, I kept getting the same story that they could not find my claim or vehicle. I finally got fed-up and fired them -and found another auto glass company. However, due to a backlog on Honda windshields, I finally got my windshield installed yesterday. The company I finally went with called me every week to give me a status of windshields and the ETA. I was completely surprised when I received a phone call from Auto Glass Now, telling me that my windshield was still on back order. Needless to say, I was kind of baffled and kept looking at the phone number. I told the woman in the other end of the phone that my windshield was already installed yesterday. Finally I figured out that it was All star glass, as I had found out there had been a company name change. Bottom line, All Star never one had ever called with an update. They always forgot about my claim and could never find it in their system, so I fired them. They didn't even have it in their system that I fired them!! read more

Thank you so much All Star for replacing my windshield so quickly and efficiently! I came in today at 8 am because I wanted an early appt and I'm so glad I did. When I arrived they confirmed all the details and price before they got started. I have a gas track transponder on my car and forgot to remove it but that wasn't a problem for them. They removed it and installed it onto the new windshield. They confirmed it would be about an hour and patiently waited inside their office. To my surprise 35 minutes later JV came back inside and let me know it was all done! I was lucky that an appointment was cancelled that morning since they did not show and had 3 team members working on it my windshield! I definitely expected to be there an hour but was pleasantly surprised on this Monday morning how quickly the job got done and the windshield looks great! Thank you to JV and his team for being quick, efficient and having such great customer service. The work was done first before payment and even while paying he confirmed every step of the way the cost and made sure that I agreed with the total and co firmed the mount I was paying before processing. They gave me another competitive estimate for replacement in their facility at the Irvine auto center so I went for it. I've become a regular at this place unfortunately lol I've had to replace the windshield on my 2020 Rav4 three times in the span of 2 years. Not sure if the windshields on this model is made differently due to all the sensors or I'm just having a string of bad luck. My passenger window was smashed by thieves. I had All Star replace the window and all was working OK (not as good as new but at least functional) until a few months later I hear a grinding noise when I roll down the window that sounds like broken glass is stuck in the mechanism. Soon after, the window is seized completely and stuck partly open. I called them back requesting repair and was informed it will be $100 just to diagnose the issue and there is no warranty. Unbelievable that I now have to pay to repair the window again because of incomplete workmanship. Obviously never doing business with All Star Glass again after this experience. read more

Got a so called instant quote for a windshield replacement on their wedsite www.allstarglass.net for my 2005 Mazda MPV, then called the number to schedule an appointment. The service represent did not honor the quoted price and ask for 15% more. Went along with it to schedule an appointment anyway. An hour later, the workshop called and said the quoted price did not include molding and asked for 10% more. Shady business or incompetent staff. read more

We had our windshield replaced about a year ago with no issues until recently. Being in So Cal we don't get much rain until recently. We have had record rainfall. We had a leak in the car in 2 areas of the headliner closest to the windshield. We called All Star Glass. They said this is under warranty. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I DON'T TRUST them. This "professional" company literally YELLED at me by both the technician (Sergio?) and his manger, Laura, after I pointed out their poor and rushed job fixing my window chip. I delayed writing this review because I wanted them own up to their mistakes. I wanted to give them a chance to redeem themselves but at this point, that's not going to happen. I met the glass repair technician around April 2018 near the close of the day. He told me to wait about 30-45 minutes and he can repair my window chip. I agreed to wait. When it was my turn, he took my leased car in and then 5 minutes later he was done. I was surprised how quick the job was. Immediately, I examined his work and I saw how terrible it looked. I told him my opinion and then he started YELLING at me. Why? That's no way to treat any customers. Honestly, I couldn't believe his professionalism! He just couldn't accept his accountability of his work quality. But, I'm an idiot for willing to work with him. I told him I would take my leased car to the dealership and if they approve of this job, I'm ok with everything. So, I went to the dealer right afterwards. The lease return representative told me I couldn't pass and had to pay for a new windshield replacement which is around $600. The rep also told me I couldn't redo the window chip again. It's a one time fix. I didn't know that fact. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone thru this ordeal. I told the technician, the receptionist and All Star Glass corporate that my car didn't pass inspection. Laura, the manager, had a tough attitude towards me. At first, she was defensive and offered nothing for my time and the technician's belittling attitude. I explained how I was willing to accept this job if the dealer is ok with it. Well, the dealership wouldn't pass the job. Then her attitude started to calm down. Eventually she offered to pay the difference but the caveat is that All Star Glass would do the REPLACEMENT. Are you serious? To go thru that experience again? !!!! NO WAY !!!!! Laura then increased her offer to $125 from $65 towards a replacement but I had to do it by July 2018 at All Star Glass. I still didn't want to risk a poor job again. I didn't want to be at their mercy. At this point, I'm left with a poor windowshield rock chip fix plus 2 bad attitudes from the technician and Laura, the manager. I still have to replace my windshield after I bought the car. Nothing gained but more trouble. Now, I'm weary. read more

I called back to explain the situation and was told we don't warranty the work and I was S.O.L. Most recommended. Note that the online price is just an estimate--call and give them the VIN or license plate to get the actual, but don't worry if it's way off. I was at first, but then they did better than the competitors, in my experience: -They agreed to match (and actually beat) Safelite's price. -Used AGC glass which had no distortion (they said they use Pilkington also, which I've had before and also great, little to no distortion). AGC is also the OEM for my car, which is great (not a dealbreaker; isn't a Bentley--just shows they are buying great parts). -Earliest availability. -Great install; Juan V., our Tech was awesome and best replacement I've had: -Fast -Used all the right tools -Didn't chew up the hard plastics around window or cowl (scuffs are expected, but I've had guys elsewhere actually chew up and damage parts because they didn't have the tools to remove the part). -Sealed it like new, removed the excess glue. -Our car doesn't have cameras, but for those that do, note that everyone will probably charge extra to recalibrate (or not do it, which can throw off the sensors--I've had that happen on another car). Was also most respectful of social distancing for those that are sensitive to that. I've probably had more than my share of glass repair and replacement. This repair had none of the bumps I've experienced elsewhere. These guys will be my go-to, and I will refer them to family and friends. read more

First let me tell you the story.. I was driving on the 241 Toll Road..just tooling along and WHAM!! Rock hits my brand new 2020 Mini Cooper. Needless to say I was devastated. I went home and called my insurance company who told me they use this glass company. They connected me to them they took my info.. they then said someone would call for my appointment.
