Caliber is inflexible! They require you to block an entire day for mobile installation until the morning f the installation. Not sure why they cannot call the day before and block say only 1/2 of the day. Their policies are not the main reason for the bad review. The phone agent earned the 1 star for team. She was rude and hung up on me. This is a high volume shop with low customer service.There are a million shops that replace glass. One of them will be earning my business. read more

I needed a windshield replaced on my Tesla and a chip repaired on my Ford F150. Breahnna made this the easiest auto repair ever. Caliber provided mobile service 1 business day after I contacted them. TLDR - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH CALIBER AUTO GLASS My experiences with Caliber Auto Glass started nearly 4 weeks ago, when I called them a few days after having a rock crack my windshield during a road trip. The first time I called, I asked them to order a specific type of windshield for my specific model of vehicle, and they said they would do so, took my info, and said they would call me to schedule the replacement once it arrived. A week later, having heard nothing, I called back. The person I spoke to apparently found my file, told me the windshield had come in broken, but they hadn't taken my phone number down so couldn't call me to let me know. At this point, they said they would reorder the windshield and that it should arrive in a week or less, and they would call me when it arrived. They also, once again, took down my contact info. Two weeks passed after the second call without any word from Caliber, so I called, once again. The person I spoke to told me that my windshield was in and apologized that I hadn't been called, and she scheduled me to have it installed at 1pm the next day at their Lake Forest location, which is about 25 minutes from my house. I told her I would be waiting for it, not dropping it off, and she told me the installation and forward collision recalibration process would take a few hours, which I understood. I arrived at their Lake Forest location about 10 minutes late for my 1pm appointment, but that didn't matter - they had no record of my appointment. No one from their glass sales team was even present (I think they were at lunch). I had to wait more than 20 minutes before someone was available to help me, and, it seems, they didn't even have a glass tech present, so they were going to have to have one drive in, and they would arrive sometime after 2pm. Having gone through all of this already, I had a feeling something might be up with the windshield they ordered, so I asked to see it before they started working on my vehicle. And, no surprise to me at this point, THEY HAD ORDERED THE WRONG WINDSHIELD. It turns out that a Caliber VP was in from Minnesota, apparently there all week to help them sort out all of the issues they are having, and he and the manager of the glass department came down to speak to me, understanding how upset I was, at this point, with this whole experience. They promised to make this right, and the VP, himself, took down all of my info, started a claim, and arranged to have a mobile install for me the next day, including emailing me that the tech would arrive at my location shortly after 9:30am to install my windshield. The VP also provided his own contact info, including his cell number in his email signature, and he told me that they would cover my $100 deductible for my trouble. At 10:06am the next day, with no word from or sign of the Caliber tech, I first tried calling the VP, but he did not answer, so I texted him asking if he knew when his tech would arrive. Twenty minutes later, the VP texted back, "The tech will be there around 1 pm. Will that still work? Looks like he still on a job" - and I immediately responded, "No - I scheduled a 2:30 appointment because you told me he'd be here around 9:30am." The VP never responded to my second text. 45 minutes later, I texted again - "What should I do here?" and, then, after another minute, "Should I just schedule with Safelite?" No response. At 12:13pm, I received a call from the glass tech that he was now on his way. I told him that wouldn't work because they were supposed to be there at 9:30 (my windshield install will require a recalibration of my forward collision camera, which makes the whole installation & recalibration process require 2 hours, at the very minimum, and I had to leave my location before 2pm for my 2:30pm appointment). He asked if I wanted to reschedule or if he should call his boss. I told him he should call his boss. Caliber has wasted far more than enough of my time. Don't let them waste yours. read more

Absolutely the worst experience ever and the most pathetic attempt I've ever seen two employees give to try to do their jobs from the moment the two technicians got there they did nothing but lollygaged around and do nothing but find ways to try to not replace my windshield which they eventually did and was the most pathetic funny and just pathetic and I can't find the words to describe their attempt and reasoning for not doing the job which was they couldn't drive their brand new van less than 30 yards to the shop on the gravel road that they just travel the mile on and they couldn't go another 30 yards on it because they were scared they were going to get their van stuck stuck on what I don't know but this company is stuck I'm stupid apparently I was just absolutely dumbfounded when they actually got in their vehicles and left I could not believe it I didn't want those two technicians or anybody else that works for that company touching my vehicle after that after seeing that so I went with somebody else today I hope that company folds because we don't need people like that working on our stuff out there folks it was crazy I just could not believe it I hope this review finds everybody before going to caliber glass do not do it do not do it read more
