The next day when I drove my car I could hear the wind gushing through the seal of my windshield. I called him and he came out 2 days later and put more sealer around the edges of my windshield. The next day the wind was still gushing around the edges of my windshield. I called him again and he said he'd be out the next day and I have NEVER SEEN NOR HEARD FROM HIIM AGAIN. Quick to respond to website inquiry by SIL Mike. Quick to set up appointment for next day. My install was done on 9/19/2024. John showed up at time expected, install was quick. Everything appeared ok. I didn't realize I would get a used windshield. What I thought was streaks was actually scratches. Moulding trim on bottom of window was not reinstalled. The mirror is so loose as to cause dizziness when using. I called John the day of install asking for invoice and warranty information. Mike said I would have lifetime warranty. Then when I discovered the issues, left numerous messages for John, who wouldn't return one call. Small issues that could have been fixed quickly, but never got a return call. I should have known better when his form of payment was either Venmo or CashApp. Once he had the money, there was no need to provide service. I certainly got a good price, but I would rather have better service. Next time I'll pay the higher price to deal with professionals than try to get a deal. Buyer beware read more

Had my windshield replaced in April 2025 after a rock hit it. By June 2025 I noticed that water was coming through when I took the car through the car wash, not only that, it felt hotter & humid in the car after the replacement. Called and spoke w Jon, and he said he'd be out to seal it. Visit 1. He comes out and adds sealant to the area from where water was coming in. After driving the car, you could hear wind noise. I let him know I heard wind noise so he said he'll come back out. Visit 2 Jon comes out and "seals" it again in certain areas. I drive the car, can STILL hear wind noise. Jon agrees to come back out again. Visit 3! He comes back out, adds sealant again. I drive the car & can still hear it. But not only that, this time I noticed that the bottom plastic corners were messed up, and one even missing its clip/screw, and the bottom sealant looks bad. I call to let him know that not only do I STILL hear wind noise, but that the corners were not like that before and he immediately said, "I will order the clips for that and come back to address the noise". Keep in mind he knew those corners were messed up and didn't even say anything to me until I said something. Anyway VISIT 4! He comes out and adds sealant and puts those screws/clips in on those corner parts which still looked not so great but whatever, over it at this point. When I drive the car I can STILL hear the wind noise, and yes, he did state that after this last attempt at fixing the problem, if he had to come back out again he would THEN remove the windshield and just re-do the whole thing. After this 4th visit I was just over it and called another company to come out and fix this issue, which they did. I messaged Jon on Saturday 7/19, to inform him that I hired another company to fix the problem, and it wasn't until I wrote a bad review on Google & Yelp that Tuesday 7/22, that he then reached out and offered me a refund for what I paid this other company to fix the problem. Because of his willingness to refund, because I didn't ask for it, I did take down my reviews of his company because it was the right thing to do and I appreciated the good gesture. Guess I acted too soon, because he messaged me on Tuesday 7/22, said the refund would be issued next day Wednesday 7/23, and go figure, NO REFUND, which again I didn't even ask for, HE offered! He messaged on Thursday 7/24 to let me know he didn't forget about the refund but that he had a large expense to address first. I followed up on Monday 7/28 because I had an unexpected event come up so that refund would have been helpful but got no response. I gave him a few days to follow through and nothing, so now I am putting the review and my experience back up so others know what I had to go through. It's not even worth the time, effort, or mental health dealing w this company. The other bad reviews they have are EXACTLY the same experience of water coming through and them not fixing the issue. Called these guys and they showed up within the window time frame but tech informed us he couldn't replace our vehicle window because of whatever. Ok fine, fixed the issue. Second time they didn't come within the time frame but did show up. Omg! The work was ridiculous. The guy installed the window so bad we can't open the front passenger door. (He replaced the sliding door window on mini van) it overlaps the door frame so you can't open it. Which also means the other end of installed window is to installed to the right that you can stick your finger in this huge gap on the end that meets the backside. When we called them they refused to come fix their mess-up and make things right. Found someone else and paid again. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Wow, after 4 windshields keeping my original review relevant, this time they lost my business forever. The car took a rock chip, called and they came out to either repair or replace. They were an hour over the appointment time and showed up stating the chip could not be repaired without notice that it was repaired, so I said to replace the windshield, yeah they did not bring a windshield. Next appointment came and he stated the windshield was damaged and they had to order another, that is fine, would rather a good repair than a subpar one. However, the installer cracked the windshield more and they did not install the moldings correctly causing even more damage to the windshield and now the car. After a few calls of checking on the status of the ordered windshield and getting no where, we called another company. This company came out and explained that there was not only a stripped screw but also other issues that were caused in the removal of the moldings. My car was getting wet inside when it rained. I explained this to technicians They vernalized they understood the problem and replaced the windshield. Next time it rained the car was soaked again so I called them with my receipt in hand and they promised to come out and repair it on Monday. Now when I call all I get is disconnected. Service was prompt and arrived on time, however the technician did not do a professional job with the upper rubber gasket. The technician ripped the upper rubber gasket on both ends and still used the same one when putting the windshield replacement on. We expressed our concerns and the technician said the company does not replace these part (even though he caused the damage). We were than advised to call the owner to discuss possible replacement, which the owner promptly agreed upon. The owner did not provide timeline and quickly began forwarding all of our calls/texts. We decided to follow-up with their customer service line, which was met with more un-professionalism and comments advising us to continue to contact an unresponsive owner. Their customer service staff were very rude and 45 days later, we still do not have the upper gasket replaced. Before I swiped my card I double checked that the price was $79.95 and they said yes. When I got my receipt it said that they had charged me for $268.95. I called to get it sorted and John the manager said he would get right on it, and I should see the money back within 24 hrs. waited 24 hrs and still no refund. I called back and John said "you didn't get the refund receipt?" Point being it was never done, and you have technicians that can't work a simple credit card cube, or they are ripping people off around Christmas. This company is a scam! They did not change the seals on the windshield when they replaced it. They destroyed the old seals and put them back on. Why would they even do the work if they didn't have the parts? Scam! Their excuse was that they didn't have them in stock, it was a freaking 2017 ford explorer. not like it was some exotic car. The owner of the company said he would have someone come fix it the next day.... but instead blocked my phone. They never told me they didn't have the window seals before starting the job. I had gotten a chip from a rock on the driver's side of my windshield and was looking for a cheap place that does quality work and Auto Glass On The Go does just that! They only filled in the crack so it doesn't spread to the rest of the windshield, but they have a deal where if the crack decides spread after they've filled it, then the customer can choose to use that "filler" credit toward a full windshield replacement. It's been about 3 months now, and I've yet to see the crack spread in my windshield. I'm not sure how long the full replacement takes, but the filler only took 15 minutes since I arrived. I highly recommend this place over Safelight, unless, of course, you like to spend hundreds of dollars. read more

My car got broken into at my hotel in San Antonio. These guys were quick and professional and their price was more than reasonable. He replaced my window and did some vacuuming and he was gone. Then I was off on the road - leaving the San Antonio area. A few days later however I noticed that there were still a lot of broken glass shards left in my car. I have kids and so this is concerning. Plus I tipped the guy very well - in the neighborhood of 50%. I'm happy with the window replacement but disappointed in the lazy finish. I have a 2016 Dodge Charger with rain and lane sensors in the windshield. - Tech came out changed the glass - Next day my lane sensor didn't work - Informed company that day (Yvonne), she acknowledged the repair need but refused to cover charges done by a licensed technician. - I allowed her to strong arm me into allowing another of their techs to try and resolve the problem. She then stated that if he couldn't resolve the problem they would pay for the repairs; he couldnt. - Dodge informed me today that the wrong windshield has been installed, the rain sensor clip has been broken and doesn't function properly, the cowling around the window has several cuts, and they used adhesive to mount my lane sensor to the window vice the factory clips that should be attached to the window so it can no longer sense the lanes. - They have been informed of these issues and I am requesting a full refund for the wrong glass (which they can have back) and total compensation to return my vehicle to its original condition (they will not be installing the new correct glass). - I am anticipating resistance and have my small claims court documents ready, hopefully they won't be necessary. I am hoping this situation has a happy ending, and I can update this review accordingly....more to follow. 10/10/16 update: The owner (John) acknowledged liability, refunded 100% of my costs and paid for the damage to my car caused by his technicians! read more

This is my second time using this company, first one was for a windshield replacement for my van... this time I needed door window replaced so I called this morning and got an appointment the same day, they went to my house and worked on my car, Israel is very professional and knows what he was doing, he finished the job quickly, cleaned up the glass shards in the car and on the driveway, I am very pleased with his work. The only reason why I gave them a 4 is that the price that was given to me did not match the invoice. But Israel called the office and gave me the price given over the phone plus tax with an explanation that it was an invoicing error. We have a school bus tiny house for sale, so we needed to fix some broken glass in the window of the front door. My husband called a bunch of places and this place seemed to have good prices and turnaround, so we packed up all our stuff and drove 45 minutes into San Antonio to get it fixed up. Over the phone, they told him they could fix it there at the shop, same day. When we got there, they told us they didn't have that kind of glass on hand, but they could get some in a couple of days. Wasted trip : STRIKE ONE. We didn't want to drive all the way back over there, so we agreed to pay a little bit extra for them to come to New Braunfels and install it where we were parked for the week. They said they'd be there Thursday, no problem. When Thursday was almost over and nobody had shown up or bothered to call, my husband called and they said they got busy and would come first thing Friday morning. Wasted day : STRIKE TWO. Friday morning disappears without a call, text or anybody showing up, so husband calls again and the guy says he was stuck at another job and would be here as soon as possible. A few more hours go by and HALLELUJAH, somebody shows up with glass! Unfortunately, only one guy shows up for what is CLEARLY a two-person job, so my husband went outside to try and help, even though we shouldn't have to do any of the work ourselves since we're paying $150 for installation. Good thing he went out there, though, because then he could really see up close what a crappy job they did cutting this glass. The corners of our windows are rounded and to properly fit into the gasket, the new glass needs to be rounded, too. The corners of the glass they cut was shaped like a stop sign ... like they were trying to make it rounded, but didn't know how to do it. Awful cut : STRIKE THREE. (notice I didn't even give them a strike for being hours late on Friday.) After that, the window was installed perfectly and we all lived happily ever after. LOLOL. Just kidding. This is the point in the story where the guy installing the new glass BREAKS the new glass, doesn't have a backup piece of glass and then leaves us with no windows at all, promising he'll be back again the next day with a helper. Broken glass : STRIKE FOUR. Except I'm pretty sure you're only supposed to get three strikes. Saturday morning comes and goes without a call, text or anybody showing up (dejavu!) Less than an hour before sunset, the same arrives with new glass, cut just as terribly as the first piece, and STILL WITH NO HELPER. He says somebody else will be there soon to help him, though, so husband stays in the house this time. We peek out every few minutes and finally, just when it's getting dark, the helper shows up. They struggle for hours trying to get the windows and gaskets installed by the light of their truck headlights and eventually, finally, they're finished! They bring the paperwork over and are about to swipe our credit card when my husband decides he should go over and check it out. The top window looks okay, but the bottom window gasket isn't installed correctly and is sticking out in such an obviously incorrect way that literally anybody looking at the window would've seen immediately. He points it out and they tell him "it'll settle in after a while." Seriously? SO MANY STRIKES, YA'LL. They could tell we were unhappy, so they spent another ten minutes or so trying to adjust the gasket. When I pointed out that it still didn't look like the other door (the one without broken windows) the guy said "yeah, well that's factory." So apparently it's ridiculous for us to expect it to look like it's supposed to look. To recap : this company is unprofessional, doesn't know how to cut windows, doesn't know how to install windows in a way that looks "factory," is always late, never bothers to call and is incredibly frustrating to work with. My car got a small crack on the windshield so I looked for a cheap fix. I thought it was a great deal considering they offer a lifetime warranty on their work as well. That needs to kept in mind for later. These people are HORRIBLE. At first I was pleased because of the fast service and the cheap price. But then I went on a road trip. While on the road, it started to rain. I then noticed water quite literally pouring on my feet. A very fast drip/stream. I called them immediately and didn't get a response for a couple of days. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought hey they might be busy. NOPE. Once they finally returned my calls, I told them about my issue and they said they have no records of my purchase or work because they "got new software" and all records are gone... How do you offer a lifetime warranty and just get new software to wipe all of your previous customers? In no world does that make sense. I fought with them about that for about 3 phone calls spanning a couple of weeks. talking to someone different everytime. I finally got to speak with the owner, he seemed like he was nice and trying to help, until he tried to help. The owner said he couldn't find my records but will just "do it anyways..." even though someone before the owner found my name a couple of calls back but couldn't get an appointment set up. After another attempt to call they then FINALLY scheduled an appointment to inspect the issue and see what was going on. They gave me a time window that they would show up and a date and guess what?? They never showed up! Didn't even call or anything and never answered my calls or returned them. Just no call no show. Then they finally got me another appointment. No way they mess up again and don't show up again, right? Nope! They did the exact same thing! No call no show! They never said anything about not being able to show and never returned my calls the day of. Now I finally have another appointment in a few days, we shall see if they finally show. The way this company run is a joke. Mike is the only helpful one. He relays my messages to John, THE OWNER MIND YOU, and then John has said numerous times "that's not right" when I tell him what Mike told me. Like when Mike found my records in the software, I finally got in contact with John and then John says "that's not possible. There's no way he found you in the system". Probably saying that because he remembered that he told me he doesn't have any previous records of my purchases so didn't want to look like an idiot. So instead he called his employee a liar. Another time he called Mike a liar is when Mike told me that when they get a message from a customer, they have to relay that message to John and then John will contact you. (never happens you are always the one having to call. John doesn't know how to do things right.) Then when I told John that is what Mike said, John says "that's not true, that's not how it works". So I guess their internal conflict is so bad they are going against eachother. I really don't understand what is going on but this is not how a company should be run. It seems like they try with first time customers but if there is a problem with the work they did, they try to avoid fixing it at all cost and just hope you move on and forget about the lifetime warranty they offer. I mean for gods sake the OWNER said he couldn't find my records because they got "new software" even though Mike had just seen it the day before when I was on the phone with him... So now we shall see if they ever fix my glass. Joke of a company and joke of an owner. It seems like he doesn't do anything and just makes his employees do everything for him.
