We searched the DFW area for a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in Tank Green. They had several on the lot to choose from. Alex Hampton was our sales lady and she was great. When you buy anything do your homework first. We had numbers for our trade and the new Jeep figured out before we got to the dealership. We paid a little more than the average price for the Jeep but got a little more for our trade than expected. Overall, we're happy and satisfied with our purchase and the dealership. They are lucky to receive 1 star! I brought my new 2018 JL Wrangler Jeep in April 2019 with barely 10,000 miles for a knocking noise in the engine. After 2 days, they stated there was something wrong and arranged a rental car for me. Then 36 hours later stated there was nothing wrong with the vehicle that it sounded just like every other 2018 JL Jeep on the lot. I picked up my Jeep and took it to another Jeep dealership the next week and it needed a new engine!!! They allowed me to leave with a defective Jeep that needed an entire new engine! *****Attention Don't Buy Cars******** Had to give one star to write this review I called salesman about a Mini Cooper I saw online a countryman oh yeah we can get you that car I go up there then advised they have to go pick it up in Dallas so I sit at lot and wait 3 hours he comes back with wrong car. I should have left right then but I thought okay I will try it out. Voice my opinion about wrong car and was ignored. Day 2 driving down road light cover comes off. Sit another 3 hours waiting on it to get replaced. The first week I had it I had to call Dallas BMW and take it due to check engine light coming on. Sales man advised me I would have to call Dallas because that's where they got the car from. Week 4 of having car we start noticing a knocking and rattle in front end again told to go to BMW Dallas engine mount broke. Today after my tags have been out for a week I make my 3rd trip and 15 call to check status of my tags again I get told as soon as we get them we will call you. After no call I go up there I get I am sorry but tag office is closed and we can not get anything done today. So my initial experience here was good. My salesmen was very helpful and not pushy about anything. When we finished our test drive he asked my wife if the Durango we had test drove was the one. She said that she liked it but it was not the one for her. He followed up with a why. My wife said that she was looking for something with leather interior to which he understood and we walked in to finish up. After getting inside, he came back over to us and said that the sales manager agreed to put leather in the car at no charge if we were to buy the car. Turns out that we had not given any thought to the fact that we were shopping on the last day of the month and they were trying to make a sales push to finish the month. We had one more car at anther lot to test drive, so we said that we would get back to him later that day after the other test drive. After that my wife and I decided that the Durango with the addition of leather seats was what we wanted. So I text the salesmen from home to hammer out the details before driving back across town in rush hour traffic. We agree on the leather seats and the repair of the armrest that was starting to crack. He said we would sign the papers that day (Saturday), he would order the leather on the following Monday, and we would bring the car back in after it came in. At which point they would give us a loaner to drive in the mean time as well as return our car with a fresh detail and tank of gas when we picked it back up. Fast forward a MONTH later, I'm getting irritated with the lack of communication from the salesmen about the status of our leather coming in. Finally, after several attempts and the mention of coming back up to the dealership to talk to the sales manager personally, he gets our leather in. Truth be told, I think they forgot and did not order it until I was at the pissed off point. Next we dropped the car off for the leather install and got a loaner car as promised. The install took a couple of days as expected. When we went to pick our car back up I see that our leather is in but our armrest was not repaired, we did not get our detail or tank of gas. Mind you I did not request the detail or tank of gas as part of the deal. That was something the salesmen offered on his own and intended to hold him to it. I bring up the discrepancies to the salesmen and he says he will talk to the sales manager once again about the arm rest to see if he wants to repair it or just replace it at this point. So we leave and wait. Fast forward almost ANOTHER MONTH and few more text messages inquiring about our arm rest with no answer, I go back to the dealership to talk to the salesmen. He walks out and I ask if he has an update. He says yeah let me pull it off right now so we can send it off for repair. Problem is I was not in the car since its my wife's car. So that brings us to today where hopefully I can go in and have them remove the arm rest and send it off for what they say will be a 48 hour repair. All of this for what was agreed up by them, much of which was offered by them without us even asking for it. Talk about an pain in the ass. This is all in addition to their attitude change when we told them we did not want to use their financing since we had already secured our own. Turns out they are not big fans of that and it shows when they finally come to the realization they can not talk you in to using their financing. In conclusion, once I get everything that is owed to us and our little warranty expires I will not be going back. Plus I've made a point to tell those we originally recommend to the place to not waste their time now. ****UPDATE**** Following the reply to this review from Auto Nation to call them and speak to the GM regarding my experience I did just that. I called the nuber they gave on July 25, 2017 and ws trasfered to the GM. However, he did not answer the phone and I had to leave a message. A message that has still not been replied to going on a week now, as today is August 1st. So depsite what seemed to be an effort to address the issues outlined in my review, they have instead further solidified my belief that any real customer service ends once you sign the papers. ***Second Update*** I got am email from the GM on August 3rd where he asked that I call or email him to discuss my experience and gave me his direct number. Pulled up to get a routine oil change and received horrible customer service. The representative was helping the car next to me and once he finish with them you would think he would ask me, "how can we help?". No, he actually walked back inside as if my car nor myself was there. Following this customer disrespect, I went inside to give them another chance because CV-19 has everyone on edge. I approached the representative desk near the door and again nothing was said to me. I engaged first and ask, "how long would it take to get an oil change?" I am disappointed again with the service department at this place. I made an appointment two days in advance to have my heater looked at because it is not working. When I showed up on time for my appointment the service advisor asked if I can leave the car for four days as they are 24 to 48 hours behind. I made the appointment with plenty of notice and they want me to leave the car for that long, and it was only for a diagnostic to find out what is wrong. I asked why the service advisor didn't advise me of this when I made the appointment, of course she didn't have an answer. I am beyond frustrated because I took off work today just for this. Six months ago they changed my oil and told me upon checkout that the oil plug was missing the washer. I asked why didn't you tell me this before adding the new oil as it is too late to be telling me after the oil is added. They are the only ones who have been changing my oil for the past five years so they are the ones who lost the oil plug washer, and they want to charge me $15.00 for a new one. My husband spent over 5 hours in service today for an oil change. He wasn't given a realistic time estimate when he brought it in. When he went to ask about the wait three hours in, the service guy's face went pale. He still had the paperwork on his desk. Seems he forgot to get our car in the queue. This was our first oil change on this vehicle, bought at this dealership just a few months ago. If this is the kind of service we can expect, we will not be returning. Just so we're clear: a 2 hr wait on a busy Saturday-- totally understandable; a 3 hr wait-- prolly should see if the customer needs to make arrangements to secure a ride while the vehicle is worked on; a FIVE HOUR wait without touching base with the customer shows a clear lack of focus, subpar time management, lack ability to set expectations for the customer, and a complete disregard for the customers' time. read more

Well, I purchased my truck from this dealership when it was allen samuels. I have used AutoNation in North Fort Worth for repairs one other time. While they were indeed slow, I did get my truck back within 6 days. I recently had an issue with a check engine light coming on and the vehicle stalled. I was able to drive it in on Tuesday, August 21st. Is is now Friday, August 31st and they have yet to do anything with my truck. The only other Dodge dealership close is another AutoNation and I have used them in the past for company vehicles and they are no better. 10 days and they haven't ran diagnostics on the truck. For those of us in Fort Worth, TX there are no good solutions for repairs if we own a Dodge product. read more

I bought a new Dodge Journey from Nick B. earlier this week. I have been shopping around for about a month before hand I knew what my trade was worth and what my budget allowed. I've worked in the car buisness and I HATE IT!! Everything about it was shady working for a dealership. So of course I was very very hesitant going into one to make a purchase knowing I was in the negative on equity. Overall I had a good experience, ended up making the purchase at pretty close to what I wanted to pay a month. Nick was upfront and honest with me and I respect that. He laid out all of the numbers in front of me so I could see cost of the car, trade value etc. and after that we couldn't make a deal so they knocked off the price of the car down to about 18k flat to make the deal work like I needed it to! I wouldn't say I'm reviewing the dealership as a whole but if you are considering a purchase from this dealership I would recommend asking for nick he seemed the most honest out of the salesmen I met there. Be cautious with this dealership. Bait and Switch. We were shopping for a Wrangler and the internet manager left me a message stating if we were able to come, they would sell us the jeep for a certain amount. I confirmed an hour before the appointment and the internet manager said yes come on in. We drove a hour and when we got there she acted like she had no idea what we were talking about. She showed us a jeep that was $15000 more than what she stated on the phone. We asked for the manager, who stated they never make promises and they cant sell a jeep they don't have. We played the voicemail for him and he looked stunned that the internet manager would leave a voicemail with a specific price like that. He said if he had it, he would have to sell it at that price based on the voicemail, but said that jeep was already sold. I stated that I called an hour before the appointment and the internet manager said we were still good to go, and asked if he see's how this looks like a bait and switch. He said he would "get to the bottom of it" but dismissed us quickly because we would not buy a more expensive jeep. Horrible service department. Long story short, went in for the airbag recall, left with no radiator cap, check engine codes, rear fascia hacked to install a trailer hitch (which I already had), and coolant leaking. Jeep stayed for the better part of July and once I got it back, I found that the airbag light randomly comes on, my headlight wiring was cut on purpose, coolant leaks (they said that they couldn't find a leak and was probably the radiator hose, it isn't. See pictures), and I'm still getting the check engine lights from the damage they did. I'm afraid to take the vehicle back due to possible more vandalism (like the headlights being disabled). So now I'm having to try and fix everything that was damaged so that it will at LEAST pass inspection (and hopefully not have the airbag randomly go off). There is a reason that AutoNation makes it very difficult to contact their corporate office.... EDIT: If you need anything more than someone to air up your tires, don't go to AutoNation. When the below average mechanics decided to replace my trailer hitch, the wires pinched were to the LDP. They grounded out and fried the PCM. After removing the damaged wiring, there was no communication to the LDP switch sense circuit to the PCM (See Tech Bulletin 18-01-00). This explains the random Airbag lights and LDP not working. Good job AutoNation,, you've sunk to a new low. read more

I purchased a 2017 Jeep Cherokee through this dealership. I found the one I wanted online, got a loan pre-approved through my bank, and went to the dealership expecting an easy purchase. I stated multiple times that I did not want to finance through an outside bank and that I already had a loan through my bank. I made that absolutely clear as to prevent any hard inquiries from showing up on my credit report. Low and behold, I check my credit score today and see MULTIPLE hard inquiries from financing companies and Autonation pertaining to an auto loan. I am extremely upset, this dropped my credit score almost 20 points. I am a student and a veteran and I rely on a healthy credit score because I do not have a source of income outside of my GI Bill! To make matters worse, they have yet to pay off the total amount of the car that I traded in. It has been over two months since my purchase. I am receiving letters from the financing company that financed my old car stating that I still owe $50! So that account is still open and affecting my credit!! Oh and before I forget, they took a month and a half to send my my plates and finalized paperwork, and when they finally did send it they sent it to the wrong address. Then they didn't bother to contact me about the mix up, I had to inquire about it myself. Last time I checked, it wasn't my job to handle the paperwork. Ugh. I am so done with this place. They did not hold my down payment check for two weeks like I asked them to after they said they would. They cashed it within two days and I got overdraft fees on my bank account which I'm sure they are not willing to help with. I tried to call and talk to a manager and just kept getting voicemails. I didn't want a voicemail I wanted a real person so I called back and I guess they could see my number and name on the caller ID and would pick up the phone and immediately send me to a voicemail. so I had to call the new car side and they got me in touch with a lady named Mia she was nice but couldn't do anything. she had a salesman named David that I have never spoken to reach out to me in text message and all he said was "Mia asked me to reach out about the check that was run too early" I told him the problem and have not heard anything back they have horrible customer service and once they sell you a vehicle they don't give a crap about you after that. Our salesman Alex Black was very professional and friendly as was Aaron who helped us complete the paperwork. They were both very detailed and explained everything to us throughout the entire process. The service department could stand to improve. The rear sensors were not functioning properly and I don't understand how no one noticed it when the truck was backed out for us to test drive. The truck was dropped off early Monday morning and we were told it would be ready that day. When we didn't receive a phone call, we called and they said it would take another day. I had a scheduled appointment for an airbag recall. Arrived early as was suggested however was left to sit in my car on the service drive for 10+ minutes. While I was waiting I noticed several service advisors sitting at their desks glued to a monitor. I also witnessed two staff glued to their phones however looked up to see me sitting. Isn't my time valuable? I left frustrated. I did call to speak with the service advisor and he apologized saying he was busy. In speaking to his manager he said that he was sorry too but that they were "really busy"...good for them but not taking care of a customer in the service drive just seems counter-intuitive. I did ask to be transferred to the service managers manager and was sent to a voicemail. At this point, wasting more of my time complaining is just that -- wasting time. Felt compelled to post a review to warn others to STAY AWAY from this dealership service department. Had an issue with my car that they couldn't tell me was caused by the previous warranty work, exhaust work and now an exhaust leak since I got it back the first time. After talking to the tech and showing them a picture of where the leak was I asked them if this was removed as part of the warranty work before I brought it in. they said we don't know just bring it in and will double check. Told me when I got there won't be any charge to double check only if we have to further diagnose. That 20 mins to verify The leak I already knew was there and that it wasn't from the previous work cost me $175....2.5 stars... yeah that's about right. No attempt to even try to make this better because clearly this was poor service. Sat in the drive for 10 mins before someone came out to me, have a shuttle service but you'll never know unless you ask even if they know your dropping a car off. Come on guys, in the economy we live in and the shortage of cares y'all can't afford to screw up the service department. read more

Obviously a car buying experience is never a fun one, unless you shop at Sewell. Sewell is hands down the best car dealer in the DFW area, however they didn't have any jeeps and that's what I wanted. So go there! Unless you're looking for a Jeep! The positives, our salesman, Derek, was relatively new to the car game. But he was honest about it and upfront and if he didn't know something he made sure to ask. So I don't blame him. THE BAD. If you advertise a car price at $19995, and I call and ask what is the cash price and you still say $19995 I'm going to expect to pay, you guessed it $19995. Not $19995 plus $299 for window tint. I didn't ask for tint, I don't even care that you tinted it. But freaking say the car is $20294... Is that so hard? My god. Going to have an install on Monday for an add on, if my expierence goes smoothly I will bump up my rating. read more

My experience with this dealership has actually been less than one star, but, unfortunately, that is the lowest I can rate it. I learned they had a Tahoe that was exactly what I was searching for. Before going in to trade I started the trade in game with them. At AutoNation's request, I sent complete photos of my car and they obtained a Car Fax so they knew the condition before I drove to Ft. Worth. As soon as I went in the first thing said to me by the salesman was I definitely got you the price you wanted on your Mercedes. About 15 minutes later the trade in guy says no it's $1500 less. I should have left then, realizing what I was dealing with, but I did want the Tahoe so I decided to eat the loss (first mistake). My second mistake was not making them wash the vehicle before I purchased it, as the windshield was chipped but conveniently covered with dirt when I inspected the vehicle. I continued through the trade in process and specifically informed the finance people in writing that they were only to pull my credit one time before we agreed on financing, but they ignored this instruction and caused 10 credit inquiries on my credit report (now contacting the credit bureaus to advise these were unauthorized inquiries and will also contact the Attorney General to see if this office can bring an enforcement action of some sort). After purchasing the Tahoe, I kept calling the bank that financed my Mercedes to see if AutoNation had paid it off...2 weeks, not paid...3 weeks, not paid...finance guy (Kennedy) would not respond to my emails or phone messages, finance manager would not return calls; finally I was able to reach the General Manager (not an easy task) and after 2 failed promises that it would be paid off, it was finally paid off around day 30 costing me additional interest while AutoNation had free use of my money. In addition, AutoNation had over withheld on the payoff and owed me about $800. The finance person, Kennedy, said the bank was responsible for refunding the difference so I verified with my bank how much was received from AutoNation and, guess what, it was the actual amount owed. Again, after zero response from Kennedy and the finance manager, I called the GM and he dumped it on another employee who promised it would go out the same day by FedEx. Apparently the check was issued that day, but it took another 2 calls to the GM over another week to finally have it sent to me. Now 6 weeks has passed and no license plates as yet. I'm starting to wonder if they are having a cash flow problem as it seems to take forever to get the money from them. Are they just using my money to help fund their operations? One can only wonder given my experience. I can only say this was my worst experience ever with a dealership. Maybe they are only in business for that one-time sale and not repeat business. If so they have mastered the art of a one-time sale and driven me away from ever going to any AutoNation dealership. I would proceed with caution. read more

Sales person was good, however the dealership messed up the registration of my new vehicle.. I'm a Vet and had disabled tags which were to be transferred to the new vehicle. This did not happen, and I was told that they were not going to even try and fix the problem. AutoNation also had the biggest selection and was the only dealer in the metroplex with the exact Jeep I was looking to buy. The only downside was they were very busy, so I had to wait awhile to sign paperwork and they couldn't find one set of keys, so I have to drive back (about 45 mins) to have another key made. read more

When we were finally able to get our Jeep in they didn't call us to let us know it had been completed. We had arranged to have our vehicle left in their unsecured lot so we could go by on Sunday to pick up. They had forgotten to park it there and had parked it in the back. I bought 2 cars from this place. The first, a Dodge Journey, was great except I was promised Bluetooth and it didn't have it. Oh well says I, I should have paid more attention. The 2nd car I bought 4 months later, I specifically said I needed Bluetooth. It was promised. It wasn't in the car. So they offered to "add on" a Bluetooth device that looks like one I a high school student made for a project. It is out now and I'm calling to get it repaired. On top of all that, I had not even made my first car payment when the tire blew out. Another example of "cheap". There was no jack, no donut tire, just a can of air. You can't air a blown out tire! Fast forward to August 2018, my AC is broken. I called to get a service appointment on aug 6 and they let me know to bring it in on aug. 21st. When I drop the car off they told me that Chrysler will pay for a rental for 5 day but my Jeep will not be looked at for 3 days. I call to get a status update on day 3 and they let me know if would be 3 more days before a technician can ever look at it. I explained to them that I would not be paying for a rental for those day as it was out of my control on when their technician would look at it and they said, too bad it's Chrysler's policy. After arguing with Steven Scott, who is handing my service, I asked for a manager. He put me on hold for about 11 minutes and came back and said he doesn't have a manger that can talk right now but that they would pay for the rental. Okay fine. Here we are 7 days later, my car has still not been looked at and no one returns messages or calls to touch base. Awful, awful, awful, customer service. I will never buy from or service my car with this dealership again. read more
